I have been looking for a company to do a detached pool house for me. I called in and spoke with Amy. She was able to give me a ton of information before I even had my zoom call with Collin. She was very responsive and just has all around great customer service. I was able to have a zoom call with Collin the next day and we sat down on the zoom call for about 45 minutes as he asked questions and listened to my desires for this project. After going over ideas and things that were a must vs. nice to have we were able to develop a really good idea of how this project could go. I really appreciate the time and efforts provided by both of them.

Texas Custom Patios completed a screened-in porch addition on my home. I am thrilled with the results, as it was just what I wanted. The profile matches well with the existing house. Logan Schell designed the addition, and Taylor Campbell supervised the work. Whenever a question arose, I could easily get the attention of Taylor or Logan to address the issue.

Excited to finally start on our outdoor patio renovations, received a call back from a lady (forgot her name) whom took my information, and estimated the renovation to cost about $85K, and asked when they could schedule a Zoom call, I asked for an in person initial meeting to discuss my needs, was told they do not offer onsite visit only Zoom call. Justin called me about 30 minutes later to try to schedule the Zoom call, when explained that I wanted an on-site visit, was instructed they are over a month and half out, fine, schedule me then but before I finished Justin hung up the phone. I realize we can get more work done with these video platforms but what happened to personal interaction, I want to see the person, understand their knowledge about what I’m asking, etc., regardless if this is the way they treat a potential customer, I’m thankful to not be a Texas Custom Patios’ customer and will sure let everyone else know as well. Customer service is lacking for sure. Best of luck.

Our experience with Texas Custom Patios was beyond our expectations. Josh Murray consulted with us before the build on options, designed a patio that was better than imagined, worked with us to include our ideas and allowed us to view a couple of open projects before beginning our project. Joshs communication from the beginning to the end was exceptional. He answered all my questions and addressed any concern very quickly. Working with Josh was the best part. His enthusiasm for our project and his assistance in choosing the elements to make sure they coordinated well with each other was appreciated. The crews that worked on our project were very professional and paid attention to the small details. The final result is impressive. We enjoy our addition daily. My experience was excellent, once the project started in Late September and completed just prior to Thanksgiving. Logan was my Project manager and did an excellent job keeping me informed and keeping an eye on the contractors. The contractors were supreme. Each was professional and left the premises clean at the end of the day. To meet the holiday deadline (because family was coming), they stayed late. I started out wanting a pergola. but am so glad I went with the covered patio option instead. This was indeed a custom solution tailored to my needs and vision. The gable roof that seamlessly tied into the existing structure is absolutely unbelievable. My friends are in awe. By the way, I added the drop-down shades, see pics below

We decided to extend our back porch and we decided on Texas Custom Patio to do this work. The screen porch extension turned out great and our project manager, Logan Schell, was outstanding. We really appreciated his expertise, his professionalism, his can do attitude and his full support of our requirements. Logan communicated with us on a daily basis. He visited the site at least twice a week to review progress. When it came to minor modifications to the project, it was always a positive experience. The entire process of adding on a new porch was fairly easy. Collin assisted with the design and was very helpful. He was able to design exactly what we wanted. Once the construction started, we were provided updates frequently throughout the process. Any small issues that came up were resolved quickly and professionally by the project lead Rob. We have a pretty small backyard that was not usable. Justin Meyers came up with a rendering that provided a fire pit, built in seating, retaining walls, and enough space for our grill and a small table! We went from having zero space to about 500 SF of an amazing backyard with a screened in patio. We get nothing but compliments when people walk by. Justin took care of everything from the rendering and concepts all the way through construction. The crews he had working were very nice and professional too. If we ever need work done to our house, we will call Justin again.

My wife and I worked with Justin Meyers and Logan Schell to design and build our new backyard resort. Justin knocked it out of the park and brought to life what we asked for and more! He thought we were crazy at first when we told him how large we wanted it to be, but he is a phenomenal designer and he listens to what you want and he makes it a reality. Logan was fantastic to work with as the onsite project manager and he was extremely responsive to each and every question and call along the way. The sub-contractors that TCP use are extremely reliable and absolutely expert craftsmen in each of their trades. The new patio and deck area is as large as our first home and has every single aspect that we wanted and then some. We use it constantly and have had so many neighbors come and ask to see it. We researched companies for months to do this project. There are many less expensive companies that do this type of work. If you want the best in the area, call TCP.

I used Texas Custom Patios to design and build a 275 sq ft screened-in porch for my home in Dallas area. They present options and finishes that would make this a special area for me and my wife to enjoy our backyard without all of the problems associated with the bugs. When we bought our house, the “patio” was a plain cement slab that was unusable in the summer, marginally useful in fall, winter, and spring, and unsightly in all seasons.Brandon from Texas Custom Patios helped us design our new patio (and avoid a few near-miss design mistakes) and walked us through the construction process. The process was turnkey and quick — far faster, in fact, that we had been told. Compared to other remodels that we have been through, the construction process was remarkably smooth, clean and non-disruptive. The owner of the company came out to inspect our job (which was not a large one, by the way) personally and found one small issue, which was promptly corrected at no cost to us.The result was a patio that looks like it was originally part of the house and has really increased our enjoyment of our backyard and probably the value of our house. Collin and Joshua and the rest of the TCP team did an awesome job. There were a lot of things that we wanted to do, but because of other projects, we designed our backyard living area in phases. The initial phase was the extension and covered area. Collin worked with the architect and after much back and forth with the City, we were able to get the best design possible. Though it delayed the project, it was well worth it. The patience and dedication they presented during this time was commendable.Once permitting was achieved, Joshua took the reigns and it was off to the races. This was a significant project so from start to finish it took almost 6 months. The results were outstanding and it was a true teamwork effort that modified the details as things progressed and certain looks had to be adjusted based on conditions. That did not stop Josh and his team and in the end it seems that we have an awesome finished product.As Joshua can attest to, I am a detailed oriented person (engineer by education) and there were a few times that he asked me to trust him that the look would turn out the way we envisioned and it was true. So for future customers that have Joshua as the Project Manager, feel at ease that he will get you what you want as long as you keep the lines of communications open and consistent.In the same manner, he was open to our suggestions on things that at the end of the day, he felt turned out extremely well. We recently got our patio extension, kitchenette and pergola completed with TCP and the results have been outstanding and meritorious. We engaged with Collin as our project director and he has been very prompt, commendable and sensitive throughout the course of the development. There were times when Mother Nature was grumpy ☺️ but it didn’t slow down the overall pace. In fact, he helped us cherry-pick the tiles, stones, stain and appliances what will work best for our design. Collin, however, came up with some great options. The quality of their work surpasses anything Ive seen anywhere. Matching brick that had to be added (23 year old house) and shingles. The addition truly looks like it was built with the house because of the quality and attention to detail. The project was a little different since you were dealing with 3 different roof heights and i didnt want just a lean to type of cover. I submitted bids from 4 contractors...some actually came thru with bids but none were as well thought out and comprehensive as the one from Collin at Texas Custom Patios. I was assured that the finished product would look like it had always been part of the home and it does. What a great job! I was kept up to date on status and things went smoothly. I had a specific plan and vision of exactly what I wanted to accomplish for my back patio/balcony project. However, being the frugal I am, I chose to start out working with contractors individually. Thats when TCP came along, did all the leg work including HOA and city inspections, and removed the angst of doing it myself. TCP delivered exactly to my vision.
