Second time visiting Silver Tulip and I can not say enough great things! The owner, his children and other staff are all extremely accommodating as well as being informative regarding our questions and concerns. Each one of them took their time explaining the different lehengas and how to customize each one! I can honestly say, we walked out with something perfect for the wedding! If you are looking for a place that makes you feel like family this is it! Can’t wait to see our beautiful pieces we ordered!

Silver Tulip and their other store Vivaah.Thier stores are filled with beautiful outfits of all price ranges. They work with you to give you what you want. Their custom made work is Amazing! I highly recommend!!! Customer service is Excellent. If I could i would give 10 stars.

Amazing customer service! I have had great experience with the sellers while buying my dress. Even though I had given them a short deadline, they customized my dresses according to my nit picky details and that even before I expected them to be done. Overall, I love my wedding dress and the Sherwani I bought.

This is the most unreliable place ever. They give you false promises and can’t fulfill one thing. We ordered a few of our wedding outfits from here because they agreed to make customizations of the outfits they had in store. For my bridal lengha, I asked for about 7 changes from the original outfit and they wrote everything down and said they would do it. The changes consisted of a diff color of dupatta, taking off the dangling beads, darkening one of the embroidery color to match the dupatta. THEY LITERALLY DID NONE OF THAT. When my dupatta came it was the cheapest looking thing ever and we’re asking me to pay $150 for a new dupatta. I agreed to pay for the new dupatta and asked them to make it red and gold — it came literally two days before my wedding and it was all gold!!! She even took a picture of what I wanted. I didn’t even want to leave my blouse for them to tailor in case they messed that up to.We asked them to darken the color of rhe shervani for my Fiance to match the gold kg my lengha — wasn’t done.They have no customer service and never tell you when your outfit has arrived. They never pick up their phone. I ordered all my things in May for my October wedding and they said it would be here in august…. It didn’t come until end of September and that’s after my future MIL going there every week asking for updates.They’re prices and quality and styles are better than other places in Edison but when you can’t deliver good service and have things on time for your customers and leave them scrambling it’s not worth it. Please do not come here, they give you false promises and can’t deliver outfits for your most important day on time.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. The staff service is terrible, Ive tried calling millions of times however it just led me to an automated voice mail. Times are crucial, and I was told Id be expecting my dress in 2 weeks, only to call back and hear my dress would be arriving after another 2 weeks. Here we are now, and still no dress. Never coming here again. They arent competent, and just straight up ignore your calls!!

Had a terrible and completely unprofessional experience here with a custom bridal order and ready made tailoring and would not recommend at all. Hard to believe theyve been in business for as long as they have, but I think their good customer service is reserved for people who spend thousands of dollars there - they seem very elitist.- Big selection of dresses and they are beautiful, but overpriced - Id recommend Fashion Queen or Miss India for better prices. Nazrannas prices are higher, but their customer service is better.- Tailor is sloppy, unprofessional, rude, and his charges are extremely high and the store takes zero accountability for this work. If you get a dress here, I strongly recommend going to another tailor. For reference, he wanted to charge $110 for blouse and skirt fitting - I went to another tailor 5 mins away who did it for $20.- They lied about every single timeline they gave me. I called to confirm my alternations were complete - they said yes - I go in two weeks later and no one can find the dress and they finally realize it is still at the tailors and alterations werent even started. He rushed through 1 of 3 alternations needed and and gave it to me and said he lost my measurements for the other alterations ... and somehow that was my problem? Without even an apology. Unbelievably rude behavior. And the 1 alteration he did was sloppy, which I wasnt surprised about since he did it in 15 minutes, again, zero integrity in his work.- Very difficult to get in touch with, they dont answer the store number and even if they give you a cell phone (to make you feel like they are providing a special service), they rarely answer.

Will never buy anything from this store again. We bought a sherwani with unstitched pants and immediately took it to a local tailor recommended by the staff. However, this tailor informed us that the pant material sold to us was unusable due to its poor quality. The tailor later spoke to Silver Tulip and the Silver Tulip staff told him that he shouldn’t have been honest about the material and should have just shipped us the defected pants. Incredibly disappointed with Silver Tulip’s dishonesty. There are significantly better stores within half a mile - don’t waste your time.

Don’t pick up calls ever.

I had an amazing experience picking my engagement Lehanga here. Chandani and Jayshree aunty were very considerate and helpful. They have amazing designs and can also make custom designed dresses. Uncle is also very sweet. Will recommend everyone to try this store first before any in Edison.

No stories...Its not worth it, wasted money & time

This store has a nice and very beautiful collection of clothing and the sales people are very nice. However, they need to work on their method of selling. I wasnt interested in marked up clothes with discounts being given at the whim of the salesperson. Make it a flat price with a percent off so you have an idea of what the cost is before you try something on - instead of saying Its $999 but Ill give it to you for $250. They also have a ton of clothes that they should probably display more properly. The fitting room is stuffed with merchandise and tight. Businesses should make more of an effort to create a great customer service experience. If youve got stuff youre selling with $1000 price tags, then you should have a decent place for people to try things on.

By far the worst experience.... I went there for a referral from my brother and his soon to be wife as per they bought their wedding outfits out there along with the groomsman and maid of honors.... I ordered one month in advance for my fiancé and the outfit still hasn’t arrived. Now 2 weeks away from my brothers wedding and I have no outfit for my fiancé to wear!!!! Poor communication hard to contact no follow up... never again! Very un professional!.....And here I was thinking hey maybe I would get all my outfits here for my wedding time also! Stay away!

Silver Tulip is a cheat!! They mark everything OVER the planned price to sell! Then they say the item is 50% off (no matter what you pick). Then it is STILL more than any store in the area. After you have spent time going through items, you ask for a discount as other stores are cheaper. Silver Tulip starts to demean the other stores or will give a $20 off discount (really?)!. Does anyone INSPECT these stroes? Does the IRS know what is going on here? And they charge an arm and a leg for the product as though using real pearls or swarovski (it is cheap white beads and colored glass). IRS, PLEASE GET THIS STORE INSPECTED!

I am a very patience person and understanding but this business has forced me to write this negative review and let future buyers know how it operates.This place is a joke and should not be in the retail industry. Avoid this place if you plan to order anything custom especially for your wedding. They do not hold there promises nor deliver what you paid for.They ruined my wedding for my father that was excited to wear his Indian outfit to match the rest of the family. Now he cannot because these folks. There is nothing they can do right now fix this. I hope this does not ever happen to anyone.They promised and assured his outfit would be at our doorstep. He order it two months in advance. It never came... fast forward a week and a half after my father left a message the day he was promised to get it. They come up with a story that the UPS truck driver dropped the shippment off to a person in a car and they sign off on it. UPS does not deliver on Memoral day which is the day they said someone signed for it. Nor does a UPS driver ever drop a package that is not the designated address. They had the odasity to lie about this. I have owned a UPS store and I know their protocols.After this issue they didn’t apologize and shrugged it off that this happens. At this point my wedding is a week before. Then lied again saying that they will expedite another outfit from India within 7 business days. It’s tueday today and the out fit has not arrived. My father called them 15 times today and left countless messages. Not one phone call back. If I owned this business and this happened to my client I would keep them informed throughout the week. Your business is based on referrals and reputation. This business horrible about their customer serivce and delivering what you paid for. I do not recommend anyone doing business with these folks. Stay away from this business.

The best experience I have ever had..My wedding is coming up and I was getting crazy on buying unique reception dress. I drove my entire family crazy to the point that my parents might disown me (Exaggerating LOL) Then I walked into the Silver Tulip. I checked few outfits and decided to try 2 of them. After wearing second one I did not even think twice. I bought at the same night. The price, quality and uniqueness was just great. I gave order of that dress with little modifications and then came home. Started having double thoughts about my own decision (we all gals are like that). And I was little worried about how it will turned out because I read some negative reviews. Finally, I just got my dress last weekend.,.and it was BEAUTIFUL...better than what I expected..I did not feel to take it out at all...I asked to do some changes in my dress...and they all are so PERFECT.. I am so happy Anil Uncle.,and Jayshree aunty thanks a lot for helping me every time wearing my dress...You both ROCK!!!I AM SO HAPPY.........

They ruined my brothers sherwani and then blamed him for being picky. They should learn what customer service is instead of making promises that they dont intend to keep.
