WORST CAKE EVER! Placed the order 2 weeks back, gave them proper details of what exactly we wanted and when went for pick up we received was just a heap of cream with very little cake. When asked the baker that the cake doesnt looks anything like we requested, he said that is how it is.Staff is always least interested in attending a customer. Not at all friendly. Not interested in recommending anything new or not open to try anything new.Never ever going there.

I recommend to try their Cakes/Pastries. They make good “Eggless” Cakes.

WASTE of money and time to go there. Got samosas, puffs, breads etc and not a single item was worth the money. The puffs and breads barely had any filling in it (See the pic.) And samosas were not at all crispy and the aaloo masala was so bland with no spices at all. I am not a spicy eater but the samosa filling was just big pieces of boiled potatoes in it. Would not recommend this bakery to anyone!

Ive been to this bakery 1x so far and I was very happy with the slice of red velvet cake that I purchased!

We ordered 2 cakes from this place,one red velvet and another butterscotch and loved both cakes.The cakes are eggless,doesnt have very strong flavor that will overcome the bread and cream flavor.Although i normally dont like eating butterscotch but willingly ate extra slice of this one,my kudos to the person(s) who prepared it.Our experience was very good with this place.

They sell spoiled cakes .. be aware. Last birthday we took cake from here. We didn’t preorder and just walked in to take whatever cake was available. It tasted gross definitely spoiled may be week old. Luckily our friend had bought another cake.

My first time here, I went in to buy Paav which were really nice and soft as they must have been freshly baked. I got tempted looking at the pastries especially the butterscotch and mango, so I decided to try them and they turned out to be exquisite!!

First of its way over priced for amount of money they charge I expected to receive some good quality taste cake but this was garbage. Way too much web cream and as they say it’s Black Forest it’s not even real Black Forest. If you to waste your money or donate that’s the only reason you should visit this store or else find different store.

I was craving for that indian pastry taste with smooth soft bread and cream. I bough a mango pastry from this place and it tasted awesome. I will definitely go back there again.

We visited this place on 28th nov Sunday evening... ordered egg puff and veg puff ... they tasted horrible and even filling was less... and not at all crunchy... and shockingly awful smell of oil in dough ... Pineapple eggless cake tastes ok but overpriced for one small portion...

I like the taste of cake but lady who handle at counter is very rude. I guess she is the owner but I dont like her attitude at all. She doesnt have any sense how to keep her customers happy. . But I cant find any one for egless cake with good taste.

I wonder how this so-called bakery has survived up till date. Someone informed me that this is the only cake shop selling egg free items especially cakes. I tried it once and regretted it. Never going back to this bakery again. And wont recommend it either.They sell stale food items and claim it to be super fresh.This bakery got a number of baked goods which I doubt being fresh.Plus the staff isnt well behaved either. They sound rude even while dealing with their customers.

I wish I could give 0. I ordered cake for my son color blue and what they gave me was a pink cake. They again try to fix but still have the worst cake ever. I was been buying cake from them for my life but now no more. The staff has no responsibility. I was very upset and the owner was supposed to call me, but yet no call. Plz do not buy any puffs from here. They give you puffs which are a week old that smell stinky, you will notice as soon you take a first bite. Avoid at all cost, shady business.

Country oven - I don’t know which country’s oven it is. Sure it’s not from India or USA. Such a bad taste. No stuffing in puffs. Home made puffs are much better than this. Tasteless, sweetless, worthless pastry. The place is insane. Worst pastry shop I ever had in my life. Please don’t even refer your enemies to that shop.

I have bought 3 theme cakes from Country Oven for different occasions. And every time, I send them a picture of my choice and they have replicated the same very nicely. The cakes are also very soft and tastes yummy ! Everybody who had come to the party loved it !

Recently we ordered egg less cup cakes for my sons birthday celebration in school. Cakes were awful. Out of 20 kids, not a single kid ate more than one bite. waste of money on the name of egg less cake. No idea about regular cakes but egg less cup cakes were very bad. I do not recommend this place to anyone for anything..

Called to ask for a cake made of cupcakes. Was told, we dont do cupcakes here. I then stated theres a picture of 3 tiers of cupcakes as a cake on the website. No reply was given so I laughed and hung up. Dont advertise what you cant deliver or be prepared to discuss.

For a bakery, their bread was extremely stale and dry. The toast too was not crisp. And they kept saying everything is fresh. The cakes we bought were alright though. Overall, would avoid.

Pastry was not that great and bad thing was my kid wanted water and instead of showing some customer service, she pointed toward buying the water. I mean common, you are running a food business and you should have a bit of customer service. Understand Customer is considered the king.

The owner was of so rude and employee also not professional I just bought my cake on 14 feb cake cream little bitter cake bread so hard so returned the cake next day 15 February girl she was working she told me you don’t get refunds back so I said okay I ll buy another cake I will pick up on 17 February so I asked for slip if come back on 17 if you are not there so i can slow slip to other person so she/he can understand what should I ordered but she told me no no I always here I said okay so I come back on 17 girls was not there so I asked cake to other girl she said I don’t know which cake you’re talking about so I said call that girl but she not picking her phone so today I went to meet owner 18 February so he we didn’t order any cake I think he make his bungalow with my $26 dollar I specially recommend never never bought cake from this store they didn’t use fresh material If I have less 0 star I will give him -star hilarious shop in iselin.

Cake is good, but overpriced. Puffs is an entirely different matter... the worst puffs ever... the dough used is so bland and tastes awful and the filling is just pathetic. I went to buy the bread because I heart that they selling fresh bread. the women working in store she deny me to give me the bread I want. she said all bread is here in rack you can pick up from here.I saw those bread looks stale and hard but the other fresh bread were behind the counter.I said I am paying full price for the bread why you denying me to get the bread I want.all I ask may I speak to owner then she said I am the owner.this is ridicules service and those people dont know if some one paying you for stuff then why dont let me pick the bread I want.I never go to back this store again.

Today I ordered an cake for an party, and it was so delicious that I could feel the same taste back home. The cake is seriously awesome.

I have no idea what goes on in this place. YOU have a food menu but everytime I go in there the lady is like there are no sandwiches, only puffs or samosas. Does someone forget to order ingredients or are you really that lazy to make the food. I mean seriously all the other reviews talk about your pastries but not about your food. Do you even have food or are you just a pastry shop. I would really like to know, what is the point of having a food menu if you dont sell it. Just to clarify I dont go to your shop late, I am there at like 6pm.

I am buying cakes, bread and pastries from last 6 years from this place..Its the same taste and same quality..Good they are maintaining there standard..I will recommend this place ...People working there are too polite and very helpful..

The color used for icing is really bad, I got a cake for my daughters birthday and the color from the icing stayed on her hands and face even after bath. Really cheap ingredients for high price I wouldnt recommend getting anything from here especially for kids

Beware of their puffs, I think they should stop selling puffs that are so tasteless and old. Paneer tastes like rubber and aloo chilli only has the hotness of the chilli, no flavor. They are so pricey that I could get a nice small tray of appetizers freshly made in the same price from elsewhere instead of buying about 15 of these hard to eat things here. Save yourself embarrassment when guests come, buy from elsewhere!

We love cakes and pastries here.We bought cake for my sons first birthday.It was so delicious .My guests liked taste very much.

They sell worlds most tasteless paav. Tissue paper might have more taste than their paav. It has absolutely no moistness. I really wonder what kind of ingredients they use to make such an extremely tasteless and extremely dry paav. In India, even beggars will not eat such a third quality paav. I would suggest to buy dinner rolls from any other regular American shop, instead of buying their paav and wasting money.

Today I tasted jalapeño croissant, chicken croissant at country oven, they were delicious, and my kids went crazy with the puffs they liked them very much and all these bakery items reminded Indian taste to me.....it was too good ..... country oven is rocking.............after a long time I experienced good taste in this bakery

The taste is a bit like desi style, therefore for native american it might be different (good/bad/dont know) but for me it is the best juicy spongy cake I have ever bought.Update: I bought cake multiple times,However the last one we picked was topped with cream that sounded like ready made instead of the usual freashly made, I hope they wont do it again.

Stay away!!!They messup up the cake with improper name and font size, when i complain the baker (indian guy) became rude and ask me to wait for 1 hour.I am very disappointed with their behavior and the way they handle customers. I would say Hot breads is better then Country oven.

I got tres Leches cake, it is just a bun dipped in sweetened milk. And vegetable Puff and egg Puff are not baked properly, just had one bite and couldnt finish it. Its horrible. I wont recommend this to anyone. Total waste of money.

Eggless cake was soggy and flavor was more vanilla than strawberry....I liked the pastries and biscuits there so I ordered an eggless cake for my daughters first birthday party. Overall fondant look amd design was ok. Fondant was breaking from couple of places already when I picked up the cake. When I raise that issue I got told by the instore baker to take it or leave it, but owner was more understanding when I highlighted the faults over the phone. To my surprise the fondant survived the outdoor heat of humid day for an hour before starting to crack.By the time it was cake cutting time I had completely forgotton my arguments and disappointment with the instore baker but it came rushing back as cake from inside turned out to be really soggy. It was not like any eggless pastries I have had in past. It was very mussy and there was little soury after taste as if batter had curdled.I though my own eggless cake which doesnt rise much with applesauce and soda as egg replacer would done much better job. We ordered cake with 24 portion for a party for 40 people and still left over with nearly 1/3 of cake.I am only giving it one star as both owners were very polite and understanding, which you dont see often in Indian business owners.But over all it was a huge disappointment.
