Closed about a month ago, but the U-Haul online and mobile systems will still let you make a reservation here. Theres not even a sign on the door to tell you where your reservation gets re-route. (Its the large site at Old Hickory and the 45 bypass)

Rented a truck online and drove 4 and a half hours there just for them to tell us the truck 2e rented had a cracked windshield and we needed to find another truck somewhere else

The general manager here is extremely rude. Because of his nasty attitude, I canceled my truck reservation and went elsewhere.There are several UHaul rental locations in Jackson, TN. I advise everyone to steer clear of this one.

The people here were friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. There was a slight problem with my order (not their fault, I think), and they made it right for me without any trouble. I would rent equipment from here again.

Had the worst horrible experience at this location on Airways Blvd. Jackson, Tn. This was my first experience purchasing a trailer for moving, once I arrived there I parked in the u haul return area not sure where to park again, my first time there, walked in to retrieve my trailer the customer service representative was on the phone talking about nothing related to the job. Then he asked for my information not politely or friendly at all, then we proceed outside to retrieve the trailer he yells at me while throwing his hands in the air, saying you parked in my return area then he had me to revised my car back to attach the trailer upon which he got very annoyed with me how I did that, he attaches the trailer (5×8) to my Dodge Charger which he spoke out loud who did this? They attach the tow to low which had chain links dragging the ground, he proceeded to attach the trailer without making any adjustments, as I was traveling and stopped at a gas station a polite citizen tried to help by pulling the links up with duct tape and zip ties to keep the chain links from dragging this was a frightful experience knowing the chain links could drag on the pavement and concrete to start a fire and cause an explosion to me and others. The CSR working Airways Blvd. location in Jackson, Tn was totally wrong for not making any adjustments when he realized it was wrong, he took several pictures then walked off while I was still standing there he did not tell me he was done just walked away. Beware....U haul recipients!!!

Manager needs some people skills. They never speak or make you feel comfortable during your transaction. Almost robot like.....

The truck was adequate. If you are just moving around town they are fine to use, but I would not use them moving out of the town or city.

I went in on a Saturday to buy some boxes to help move my dad. I could not have asked for a better or more helpful salesperson than James. He helped me get what I needed rather than just what I planned to get. The man knows his business!

Poorly reviewed by others. Ive used them several times for local projects and never had any issues. The people I have worked with have been decent and hard working guys.

If youre looking for good customer service this is not the place for you. Sold me a bent hitch that I waited 30+ minutes for them to find in their jacked up inventory, they denied it was bent and I couldnt return it. Had to beat it into place with a hammer for 40 minutes. Absolutely terrible

Thay were very helpful and I got out on time.

I made an appointment to install a hitch on my car. drove 1.5hrs to get thereWaited for them 2hrs. And then they told me That they dont have the bolt to install,UHAUL ..Please made sure that you have parts available before made your customers drive that far.

Never do business with the people! They conduct themselves more like thugs than UHAUL employees. They take an almost perverse satisfaction in telling you no whenever you attempt to return unused boxes. That 100% guarantee they have on every UHAUL box and truck means nothing. After making 3 attempts to return unused boxes, with all the proper receipts, I had to call the police before they would take back their boxes. What other reviewers say is true. Hanging up on you is the least of what they do at the Jackson UHAUL. Either the owner of the Jackson UHAUL is clueless as to what all his employees are doing or he too is a shyster. Since these people have my home address, I am actually concerned about retaliation. What they are is way beyond unprofessional. Im afraid they really are thugs. In my 60 years I have never had this horrific experience with any company. UHAUL corporate needs to investigate how this particular franchise is being run.

Avoid this place at all costs. We needed a truck for a show, called them on the phone to confirm that they had the truck, drove 45 mins and only after taking all of our personal information did they say that they didnt have the vehicle in stock. Poor customer service all around and no clue of how to manage their inventory. They wont get a chance at our commercial business again.

We wanted to fill propane but they said “unfortunately” the person that is authorized is not there, and nobody else has access, what is the point of offering the service if they are not willing to provide it.

Good friendly staff, well stocked, need larger lot

Extremely crooked people. We have gone to them twice with at least two years in between visits. Both times their prices did not match up to what they advertised on their site until confronted, then they played the victim game and said oh, its our system or oh I was uh, looking at the wrong thing.

This location has a manager who has no clue of what is going on and how the industry works. He is not a good leader to be a manager at such a location.I saw a carrier delivering a UBox and the manager tried to force the driver to sign for a no seal on the UBox. The driver told him there wasnt any seal on there upon pick up and its not written on the Bill of Ladings either and if one is required but missing, its for him to verify with the shipping location first to confirm if there was any seal put there.He tried to refuse the Uboxes not realizing what kind of a disaster that could have caused Uhaul when their customer would have come to pick up his belongings only to be told his stuff were in a storage somewhere out of state and worst of all, impounded and he/she had to pay for storage and freight charges before they are released to him/her. As a manager, you ought to know the repercussions of any and all judgements you make.One employee was in the process of unloading the truck as soon as it arrived and the manager got him off the forklift to do it himself yet there were other customers waiting to be attended to by the manager. He doesnt give them a chance to learn but would rather do it himself. A good leader, in this case, would assign duties and help them if need be.

They took money off my debit card and hung up on me twice when I called them to dispute the transaction. I have never been treated so badly by a rental place this was uncalled for and I will get my money back from this place.
