Excellent store with a wide selection of board games, comics, and cards at prices better than youll find online. I found a rarer board game (Wings) plus its expansion pack for cheaper than I could find anywhere else. As an added bonus, they had Magic The Gathering mystery box for twenty dollars less than Amazon.

Not a lot to see but the variety is there. I still would recommend this location as well as the other.

This place is wonderful! The clerk/owner was helpful and patient and he helped me to make the experience a wonderful one. DEFINITELY worth it and I will return!

Its the tiniest Coliseum, but I really liked the cozy location! The manager was very friendly, and has an extensive knowledge of comics. I couldnt remember the name of a series I had read about online, and after a really vague explanation from me, he was able to identify it! Ill definitely go back when Im in Jacksonville again.

This is a great little place. Always had a great selection and if they dont have something you are looking for they have no problem ordering it for you. The guys that work here are always really nice and helpful.

I went into this place awhile back not even knowing where to start with comic/graphic novels. After discussing with them the types of novels I read, they pointed me in a good direction. Not much of a comic book reader, but for someone who wanted something to breeze through in an afternoon without the depths of physics or philosophy, they pointed me in a great direction. I would absolutely recommend them again.

I stopped buying comic books a long, long time ago after being an avid comics reader back the 80s. After the recent comic-adapted movies began arriving a few years ago I decided to stop in and see what some of my favorite titles of old were up to and this place fit the bill perfectly. A nice, warm and welcoming storefront with an equally responsive staff, who could ask for more? My only wish is for them to carry some older issues but I understand the changing face of retail these days so its not really that big of a deal for me. I wish this place continued success!

Was visiting while on vacation and stopped in. We found a surpsingly large and varied collection of comics, issues and tpb. The employees were knowledgeable and very friendly with thoughts and suggestions! Will definitely come back if we make it to the area in the future.

Yes I know theyre a comic store first and foremost but I went in looking for a board game and let me tell you, the two gentlemen in here not only were extremely nice and pleasant, but they also helped guide me to two of my now favorite board games. Their selection is growing I just wish the store could magically grow a little bit. Will be coming back!!

Took my kids to get some comics, they have a lot of cool stuff. Besides comics they also sell boardgames, figurines and gifts.

Its a very good shop! But I think it could do just a tad more to get that perfect 5.I pop on thier from time to time to see if theirs anything I like.I think thier should be a Section for Manga and Anime figures like the downtown one to shake things up, though Im open to be understanding of why they dont have these things.The previous location they had at the beach was actually much better where this here is very cramped like a crowded game stop.Otherwise, the clerk/owner?? Who works thier is very nice and friendly and helped me and my wife get the stuff were looking for through ordering and its an over all positive experience.

I was very happy with the selection and customer service. Eric was extremely helpful, he helped me pick out some age appropriate comics for my 9 yr old son.

I drive by store all the time and the window art finally lured me in one afternoon. Unfortunately the window art was the best part of my experience. While the store had some cool stuff inside and the prices were reasonable the staff ensured I will never go back. Upon entering I expected a welcome like when I enter GameStop but the employees were deep in a personal conversation and failed to greet me. I figured after they finished I would be offered help but as I walked around the store I was continuously ignored for the entire 10 minutes I was there. I even passed directly in front of the counter and the clerk stared past me at the TV like a was a ghost. I was the only customer in the store at the time and it was Saturday afternoon. I was not impressed by the experience and was left longing for a comic book store I could look forward to shopping at.

Its smaller than original was. But staff is very knowledgeable and very friendly and it is very clean air as well as well organized

Ourageous prices and if you are hunting back issues they will likely just tell you we might have it in the warehouse.....been to every shop in Jax this was by far the most expensive (example I bought an entire deadpool set at another local shop for the same price they wanted for 1 of the 4 books in the set and in same condition) ...wasnt worth the trip personally....rather suppose a local shop and not a corporate one anyways

Can not say enough good things about Superhero Beach Comics! Neil and the VERY knowledgeable and friendly staff go that extra mile for each and EVERY customer. Their new comic selection is without peer in the area. They have DC, Marvel, IDW, BOOM, Dynamite and MANY other indy comics as well as an AWESOME selection of statues, figures, tshirts and other sundries. Its like a mini comic book convention RIGHT at the beach!!!! This is my home store and I guarantee you, going out of your way to visit them is COMPLETELY WORTH IT! Plus, Neils pet greyhound is an absolute SWEETHEART of a dog. =)
