Had background check and, within an hour, was out the door with gun and everything we needed to make us feel safe now. Even got a nice stiletto knife. Go there, you won’t regret it! Tried to sell me a tactical side-by-side shotgun with a picatinny rail and some Turkish home defense shotguns after I told them I was looking for a field shotgun for deer.

Purchased a rifle off their site. A month later it still hasnt come in. Today I call and the guy says one came in yesterday but he isnt sure if its supposed to be mine or go on the shelf. Manager there apparently wouldnt pull the trigger to do the paperwork to make it mine. Got to call back again tomorrow and talk to another manager. Ridiculous.

I dont understand the negative reviews for this place. I used to always shop at EO until a couple of bad experiences forced me to find a new shop. A buddy recommended this place. I was looking to purchase my first AR. I had TWO staff members help me. They went over all the different models they had in stock and answered every one of my questions and then some. They were never once pushy. It was a great experience. I went in a couple weeks later to buy a case. Same attention from a different employee. I did have to wait a little while because they were helping other customers but that didnt bother me since those customers were there first and deserved the same attention I recieved. They have earned my business for all future purchases.

Went in for ammo tonight. Needed 38 special and they had it, fair price. The guys working were super friendly and helpful.

I’ll suggest to anyone going here that the experience will likely be positive as all the employees I’ve encountered were positive and cordial, but if you are actually planning to buy just look around at some of the other 5 or 6 places in the area too because I do think their firearms and ammo are set at the higher end as I go to all the local shops for best prices. On a few occasions I’ve seen the same exact firearms they have in stock at several other places like Academy Sports or Eastern Outfitters that had a very different price tag. And as for ammo, they have a 50 rd box of 9mm for like $39.99 + tax when you can get 2 boxes of 50 rds at eastern for $35– which is less than their price for 1 box. I think thats why they always have a plethora of 9mm stocked when no other shops have because it’s set at a high price of almost 40 a box. But I do like them and I’ll continue to go there just for the positive experience alone.

Have been in and out this store a few times with my husband and finally went and bought my first pistol today. Brandon was extremely knowledgeable and patient with me, even though Im sure he pulled out every single sub compact out of the case for me to look at and feel. Never once got short, impatient or tried to push anything on me. He made the entire experience enjoyable and easy and made me happy to spend my money there.

Just bought this baby for the wife as a Christmas gift, this guys at the shop are really nice and helpful, the store manager is a really nice and funny guy, they are all super helpful and the new hired girl and she showed us some amazing tricks with a knife. Price gouge. When you’re selling 50rnds of .30 carbine for $1/rnd, something is not right. .45 ACP... over $1/rnd. .223, $1/rnd. Taking advantage of new gun owners is what this shop does. All about free market and selling whatever you want for the price you want, but this is just immoral. You’ll get more business by doing the right thing.UPDATE: Owner claims in his response that prices are up so they can provide Ammo still and make a living, but that is just not accurate. The same .30 carbine is online for half the price they’re selling it. Other shops in Jacksonville sell it for half there price. They are price gouging and hiding behind statements like this. New gun owners, do NOT shop here until they change there ways.

This place is great. Zachary helped me out with putting my barrel and compensator on and made sure that I liked how the compensator sat on the barrel in its orientation. I will continue ue to come here and get help when needed. Thanks so much.

Me and my husband got single point slings for our AR 15s at the gun and knife show and I stopped at the the Gunshop tables while at the gunshow to see if they had the tool to put the single point sling adapter on and Scott helped me and told me to bring them by the Gunshop that following Monday and he would be available to put them on. When I went to the Gunshop I didnt have to wait long before he was able to help me and he put both adapters on in 15 to 20 min, then he helped me with some other things I had questions about and was very knowledgeable about everything, I will definitely be using the Gunshop again in the future. Not to mention they have pretty good prices. Thanks Gunshop and thanks Scott!

Love this gun shop! Stephanie really went above and beyond to help me pick out the gun I needed for my husband. She gave me the prices for each of the guns as well as personally showed me where they were so I could look at and hold them. From day one, the Gunshop has been my go to store for firearms around Lejeune/Jacksonville. With a pretty wide selection of firearms and ammo it can be a little overwhelming, especially for first time buyers. But, the staff at Gunshop is kind and will gladly help you find what youre looking for. Ive taken a lot of friends there and every one of them left feeling happy with their purchase or having a better idea of what they wanted. Out of all the stores in the area, Gunshop is the way to go.

Went there on a Saturday afternoon and there was only one other customer and 3 employees and no one would help me. Stood at the gun counter and walked around it twice still no one asked to help me finally I interrupted one employee to get ammo then had to wait for someone to ring it up (there’s a shortage on 380 ammo so had to get it for the gun I already have)So went down the street to Semper Fi Guns. It was packed and still had 3 employees acknowledge me Everyone was friendly and helpful and so that’s where I bought my gun😊.

Stephanie was very helpful and nice about everything. Answered any and all questions we had. About the only thing I didn’t like in the store was the man on the larger side. He seemed annoyed with us, out of breath, couldn’t handle the guns without dropping them and when my husband went to buy ammo he simply walked away from the register.

Ordered a pistol on June 7th and was told it would be here in 2 weeks. Scott helped me and was great. 21 days later i had not heard anything so i called. Scott was unavailable so i talked to someone else. I asked about the pistol and was told it did come in but the owner decided or would be better to sell it at the gun show so they didnt bother to call me. Terrible business practice and disrespectful. Three weeks wasted waiting on a pistol for nothing.

Came in with a drifting rear sight on my 1911. Issue was identified within minutes and fixed and out the door in about 20 mins. Extremely friendly staff and gave me pointers if the issue arises again. Will take further weapon issues to Scott and Rick again.

Called and asked for a particular item. Placed on a short hold and was told that they had the item gave me a price. I drove 30 minutes to pick up. Then told that they didnt have item. When informed that I called, I was told by red haired lady that things happen. No apology.

I am new to the Glock brand but luckily Nicolaie helped me from choosing the right gun as well as its adaption to a micro conversion kit.All purchasing process was done while i have my maverick 88 fixed up by Brandon. Not very customer friendly. Bought an extended magazine for my pistol. After just 150 rounds it has malfunctioned and will no longer feed properly. After just a week, the store would not take it back and called it a manufacturer problem. Not a good way to do business with so many good gun stores around. Go to Semper Fi guns just down the road. Much better. You lost a customer over a 29 dollar part. Pretty wise.Update: a manager has contacted me and had done the right thing offering a refund or an exchange. Well done, you have earned my business back and I will be sure to let others know. Thank you.

Bought a rifle several months ago that would not fire. I brought it in several times and was told several times it was the ammo and not the rifle, after buying multiple boxes of ammo, and special ordering ammo from them, it took over a month after they said less than two weeks, i took it to another shop that quickly found problems in the springs. Gunshop promised me they thoroughly test all used guns before selling them. this is an absolute lie. I will not be returning to Gunshop, no will i suggest it to anyone. At this point I dont even think I will return to claim the last of my store credit.

I had a used revolver that I had bought on Gun Broker and shipped to the Gunshop to do the transfer. The transfer went well and Richard also did a fantastic job of doing a ultrasonic cleaning! This is a great shop with great people working there. I would highly recommend the cleaning service.

Scott was very helpful, had bought my Kimber here and whenever I had a problem he was there to help, definitely recommend this shop to anyone looking to buy a fire arm.

Don’t trust this place with any type of gun restoration, I dropped my shotgun off in Nov. 2018. They assured me it was going to take a couple months but I would certainly be contacted by both themselves and the gun smith doing the work throughout the restoration process. I called multiple times between Nov. 18 and Aug. 19 to try to get an answer about what was going on with it. In February I was told that they apologized for the inconvenience and had made some management changes, and that the only thing my gun was waiting on was the new stock. They also informed my it should only be a couple weeks until it was done. Finally last week I called and still no update on the gun or contact from the gunsmith. I told them I didn’t care if it was finished to get my gun back. Now I have a $485 dollar bill after waiting 10 months with the only progress having been made to the shotgun being the barreled was reblued. The sad thing is I like the shop it’s probably the best in Jacksonville and I actually purchased a new pistol there during this waiting period, but due to this poor business practice I can’t continue to do business here. The bill isn’t the issue it’s the fact that I gave them a piece of my family history hoping to have it restored and yet they can’t even tell me anything about the process over a 10 month period.
