What a GREAT store !! This place is packed to the ceiling with antique and just plain old items. The range and variety are simply amazing.

I have enjoyed browsing the aisles of this shop numerous times before. However, they have chosen to politicize mask wearing by the sign on their front door, not just allowing masks, but making fun of those choosing to keep themselves and others safe. I don’t know if they realize that they are alienating half of the population of Jacksonville, which is too bad for the vendors who choose to display their items there. I will not shop at such a careless business.

Great place. Keep going to see whats changed. They always have interesting things for the discerning collector as well as things young people buy to be trendy before they are trendy.

This store was fun! Make sure you have plenty of time before you go as this place is pretty big with much to look at. We spent a few hours inside. It was worth the trip. The staff were so genuinely nice, pleasant and helpful as well. That is always a plus. I would go back and it was an hour drive for us.

While the store is full of older things and collectibles... And between my husband and I.. We spent right around $200 ... We wont return... Mainly because of the strong undertones of hate.. And intolerance... Best wishes... I really wish that my family and I had felt more welcome here.. Because it is a very unique place with lots to offer and decent prices.

I am shocked and disappointed to have come across my first experience with hatred in a business establishment. My friends and I have shopped and supported this local antique store for years now. Being able to give back to a community where we live and frequently visit, is truly a blessing. My support for this antique store has come to an end.As I began to walk out of this store there was a sign on the wall as you exited. The sign read, CHINA SUCKS it shocked me but at the same time I quickly understood. But it still wasnt right.I urge all people to stay away from this establishment.

I enjoy coming here with my parents. Frank is a crazy dude and an important fixture here. A lot of booths have sales so you need to check it out weekly. Great stuff I can always find something.

Great little find. I went with friend who was looking for lamps, she found 2 beauties + shade for less than $50. I wasnt looking for anything but came out with youth rocker, lovely high chair for granddaughter & quaint silver tea spoons. Fun spot.

We had a lovely time shopping at Sugar Bear today! The selection is wonderful, prices are very reasonable, and Ms. Diane at the front desk was very kind and helpful. The restrooms were spotless as well. We cant wait for our next treasure-hunt here!

Its a great place if you want to just browse especially with carpeted aisles but its mostly a lot of old kitschy stuff. Great for some pyrex, corning, depression glass, holiday decorations and glassware...smalls, some jewelry, repop antique signage. Some good deals on furniture. Its worth a look around!

Great store, booths owned by different sellers making selections very different and very fun to shop. I could spend days looking at all the fun items! If youre looking for a gift or just looking for yourself its a really fun place to go!

Do not support this business. Total rip off. The guy who owns or manages the store will re- ticket items at a higher price for specific sales to make it seem like you’re getting a better deal and will flat out lie about it. Do not trust the authenticity of anything sold at this business.

If you like antiques, this is a must-see! You can browse the surface of the place in about 20 minutes, but if youre like me and you want to look at all of the little items, and take your time..... Ive spent as much as three and a half hours in there more than once! Friendly, helpfull staff. Fair prices, and selection selection selection! If youre looking for something specific, you MAY find it at Sugar Bear. I love this place!

Purchased several boxes of items. It was packed very well however missing 4 bowls, AND a 2 piece vintage glass fridge piece was severely chipped. It had been covered by the tag. Impossible not to notice it when the clerk took the tag off but never told me.

HUGE! They have so many booths, it takes hours to make it through. I never leave here empty handed. Most everything is very reasonably priced. One of my favorite antique stores in Jacksonville!

Sugar Bear is excellent. Its browsing-friendly*, which is great. You can take your time & decide what to get. Quite a few old tools there, which is always good...handsaws, particularly. Bottles & Mason jars if youre into those. Sooo much old stuff. They have coffee & bottled water for a nominal charge. Stop in, its worth the visit.*Unlike at Orange Tree Antiques, where youll be pushed out the door in ten minutes if you dont buy something. The proprietor has no customer service aptitude at all, or at least he didnt when I stopped in last year.

Weve been shopping there over a decade. Each visit has been as enjoyable as ever. Not every visit do we by something, although rare that happens. Having been there after they closed, we have never been rushed out. For us our 20 mile drive is always a pleasure. As for prices, they seem to be lower than many other local stores. I was traveling through and saw the shop. I love antique shopping. So I was shocked at what happened. My husband bought a Dan Marino $1 dollar bill. After he purchased it we were looking at it and took it out of the plastic wrap and found out the dollar what a regular dollar. The face of Dan Marino was TAPED over George Washington’s face. It was fake. We were still in the store when we noticed it, my husband showed the cashier, shop owner and she said to him “sorry all sales are final” and showed him a sign behind the counter. So we paid $3.00 dollars for a one dollar bill. It’s not really about the money it’s about selling FAKE things and being cheated. I will never stop there again and would not recommend it to anyone. They lost a customer over $3.00. Customers beware!

Its not really filled with antiques, its more like overpriced junk. Kinda fun to walk through, but theres not much worth buying.

Reminds me of old antique barns up North. Much bigger than I expected and packed with stuff. Fun for both gals and guys.

I bought a dirty wooden boat from there that had spiders living in it that was priced at $40 on sale for $30 then got home to clean it and it had the original price tag from Bealls outlet on there and a clearance price of $15 so they bought it, let it get filthy then sold it for double the price they paid for it. When I called the store the lady who picked up was slightly rude and when I asked her if that was common for them to buy things on clearance down the road and then sale them for double and triple the price she simply said yes! Less than half the store is actual antiques..like other antique malls that claim to be antique malls...most of it is peoples crap or used items they dont want marked up so an overpriced flea market....go if you have extra time to browse but beware of fakes and high prices plus like most antique stores and flea markets the service is lacking.
