My vehicle was having a misfiring issue once again. I’d asked someone a few months back where I should take my vehicle for maintenance. The place I’d been taking my vehicle for years was just no longer working out. I needed a place that did good work, was convenient and reasonably priced. I was told to go to Piney Green Tire & Auto. I decided to give them a try regarding this issue. The staff was super friendly. I’m especially appreciative of the gentleman who assisted me. I believe his name was Richard. He took the time to explain what was happening with my vehicle and was able to get it properly diagnosed and swiftly repaired. I was pleasantly surprised at the amount charged. I’d paid 4x’s as much prior with the same issue where I’d previously taken my vehicle. Piney Green Tire & Auto definitely checks off all the boxes required and then some. I will definitely take my vehicle there again for service.

Everyone was friendly! The mechanic came in and showed me a nut that was hard to get off and it was basically destroyed. Asked if it was OK to put a new one on for $5? I waited for my vehicle there at the building. I felt they were quick and efficient! I will definitely return!

We have been using Piney Green Tire and Auto for years for maintenance and tires. Their tire prices are the best around. This particular visit my husband had a check engine light issue. They ran diagnostics and did several tests but couldnt find the problem. They worked on it for 2 days and didnt even charge him a diagnostic fee. The folks at Piney Green tire know their customers and are a pleasure to do business with.

At no point was I talked down to by the staff here. Whenever there was any questions I had. There was an answer from the employees. The parts I had replaced were done efficiently. I am pleased with the service I had there. In the very near future. I will be glad to return for help on my pickup.

I highly recommend PG tire. I had a nail in my tire which is mounted on a 24” rim. It is very difficult to find a place in town that will work on these and they are paint so doing it with care is another thing you can’t find. PG tire was able to do the work without damaging anything. They were quick and professional throughout the whole process. Definitely going back when I need tire service

Excellent work and great price to replace all 6 of the tires on my truck. I have a Ram 3500 dually and was driving on a spare tire already because the wires were showing on my right front tire. I asked them to reuse the current spare and replace all 6 of the other tires. They placed my spare back where it goes, replaced all my tires, and fixed the alignment within 2 1/2 hours. The price is unbeatable too. I called a dealership, a “discount” tire place, and a nationally known vendor... Piney Green beat all their prices. Extremely happy. Will go here again.

Yes, I took my truck there to get some work done. Piney Green Tire & Auto called me before they did any work to it. I was referred to them by another one of their customers. They did a superb job on my truck at a good rate and I will now make them my personal mechanic shop . The people working there are friendly also.

An honest review. Let me talk about the good first. Very friendly Owner and front desk. In addition the head technician was a really helpful guy. I purchased incorrect rear break pads; I have a specialty Baer Brake kit and unbeknownst to me the rear break pad is manufacture proprietary part. We talked about it and I was able to find the correct part. Here’s where it gets bad. Upon completion of my service I’m handed the keys and I am about to go on my way. I start the car. Push the brake pedal and it goes to the floor, obviously the brake piston needs hydraulic pressure from the master cylinder to travel to the calipers (yes I work on cars) so I pump the brake pedal. No change, so obviously the brakes need to be bled because sometime during service the air created an air pocket in the front brake lines...stuff happens. But, what really is unprofessional is when the mechanic tells you well “we normally don’t bleed brakes..” and “we don’t know how it was before.” What are you talking about guy? YOU DROVE IT IN TOO THE SHOP. HOW DO YOU NOT KNOW? Needless to say they bled the brakes, as they should of to begin with. I left the business somewhat satisfied. But 100 yards down the road while turning right, my tire starts feeling like its falling off and rubbing. I get out and inspect and identify the inner fender is broken, plastic rivets are damaged and you can see where the lift was applied to the car to far forward causing damaged to the inner fender. I was like I’ll just cut my loses..But, then THEY hit me up days later and have the nerve to say “well we got you on camera walking around the car” after you left. Forget, you...did you get me on camera laying down on the ground looking at the inner fender two inches off the ground? Had I, I can assure all readers I would not have left. And there video will validate that. Note the pictures. As the pictures depict the other side resembles what the car looked like when I took it in. It is a 1 owner car with 79,000 miles. In summary, the owner is probably an honest man and the front desk staff is friendly but, the business is being ruined by careless technicians. Your better off going to Smiths Auto Service or MR. Tire. My recommendation, avoid this establishment.

I visited Piney Green Tire Pros on Wednesday, January 6th, 2021. I was overall in there for an hour, and they were super friendly and easy to get along with. They explained everything that was going on with my tire, and got me back on the road in no time. They’re extremely affordable, and the customer service was great! I would highly recommend this tire shop for anyone who is in need of services.

There are a lot of unscrupulous businesses out there but PGT&A isnt one of them. I went in for a HR (headlight restoration) and they were honest with me and told me there was nothing that they could do to make them better. There were small cracks on the inside of the lenses and a resto wouldnt help. They couldve taken my $ but they didnt. Thats why they get 5 stars from me.

Drove all morning from Virginia to close on a house in jacksonville. Then was planning on driving back the same day (with import things to do that night). Came into town then my radiator hose broke at a gas station. These guys hooked me up when I was in a tight situation and was able to work with me to get me back on the road within 2 hours ( I must admit, some of it was a little luck on their end ). I’ve been to a few auto shops around the area and let me just say, this one is by far the best! I went in to get my tire patched up but decided to get new tires since they were balding anyway. They did NOT ask nor pressure me at all into getting new tires which i feel like most auto shops try to do. They were just going to patch up my old one and send me home, but the price for new tires was unbeatable! From now on, I’ll be coming here for my auto repairs.
