We love this shop. We come from 2hrs away to get great service. We recommend all of our friends and family to come here. We have family that will drive from an hr away to get service from people who are trustworthy and will not rip you off to make a buck. When you come to S&N they really treat you like family.

After taking my truck here for second opinion on dealership quoted repairs, S&Ns technicians reported the actual repairs that needed to be done, completed them in a timely manner and were quite fair and upfront about the costs. I will absolutely continue using S&N for future truck repairs.

Theyre amazing! They fixed my suspension for a very fair price and in a timely matter. When my truck was ready to pick up the young woman at the front desk was even willing to help me get released early by talking to my Staff so I could grab my truck before they closed. Awesome team. They even gave me a cookie!

Found this gem and have continued to go back when I need work on my car. Staff is so helpful. They always explain everything to me and walk me through what they are doing and why it needs to be done. The receptionist is very professional and friendly. She calls you prior to ordering new parts that were not discussed and gets your permission to purchase. I love this because I dont want to show up and be hit with a bill I wasnt expecting. I highly recommend S &N Automotive!!

Great service! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Im glad I went to them because I went there for what I thought was a battery related issue and it turned out to be something more. Horrible shop I’d leave them negative stars if I could I had them run diesgnostics on my vehicle because it was leaking some coolant I paid them 40 dollars for them to tell me it was the water pump so I gave it about a month or two because I didn’t have the money for the fix immediately so I ended up getting the money paid them 410 dollars for parts and labor not an hour after I got it it was still leaking I called the woman back told her she was super nice and said I could bring it back that afternoon about an hour after that she called me and tried telling me she had no record of them running diagnostics on my truck and that they never said I needed a waterpump she was very rude while doing this I then proceeded to tell her I’d fine the receipt I then found the receipt called her back and asked where I could send her a picture of my receipt of them doing the diesgnostics she then changed her tone fo voice and attitude quickly and then tried to be helpful she then called me later that day and told me the mechanic that worked on my truck said he might not have tightened everything down on the water pump right I then took it back to their shop she then proceeds to tell me the next day it’s something completely different then my water pump and it’s not there problem she also told me she called me back with update constantly and never did a single time this shop is terrible and I highly recommend not taking your vehicle there

I took vehicle in for repair work. Drove vehicle away and vehicle failure resulted. The vehicle was returned and the labor and warranty parts were honored. In short the shop honored their duty to customer. For a small shop, this was a big step defining their integrity to the customer and the community. Hopefully S&N will join the Better Business Bureau & Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce. One serious concern is the receptionist. She did not realize I was waiting in line to check status of my vehicle and I over heard receptionist talking about the loss the company was taking on my vehicle and she starts to attack my character. Taking losses related to defective parts or incorrect installation is part of business. Attacking a customers frustration who has lost a primary mode of transportation for a week at no fault of their own is slanderous. Sharing the challenges of a business loss and slandering customers does not generate repeat business. Moreover I overheard on two separate occassions this receptionist use scare tactics to sell services to young motorists who clearly did not have an understanding of preventive maintenance. When one young couple started to ask questions the receptionist retreated to a familiar phrase, Well I am not the mechanic. Clearly the receptionist was confident enough to scare young motorists to increase sales, but could not provide professional mechanical supporting knowledge to substantiate the scare tactic. I have run serveral businesses in my time and this automotive shop has great potential by having an owner with integrity to back his work. My advice. Discharge receptionist, and hire a receptionist with same core beliefs of integrity and excellence. Good luck!

Diesel mechanics are sometimes few and far between. I was happy to find one that was local and had good reviews! Staff was very friendly. The woman at the front desk was wonderful and spent a lot of time talking to me and answering all of my questions about my vehicle.

Had a very good experience, we are from Jacksonville but the military has us elsewhere. Visiting family and ended up finding a used car we wanted to purchase. They got us in as soon as I called for a pre purchase inspection and helped us figure out if it was safe to drive home!!

Stefano, Nick and the rest of the team were simply amazing! My car may be a piece of $&#@, but I inherited it when my mother passed away and it means the absolute world to me. When the car died in the parking lot of the Hilton Garden Inn, I was pretty sure it was the end for my beloved SUV. But alas! It was suggested that I reach out to the folks at S&N. While some shops wont even turn a wrench after taking a peek under the hood, Stefano, Nick and the crew had me back on the road with a new radiator (somehow fit nicely into the twice totalled vehicles engine compartment), and FIXED MY BROKEN HOOD LATCH just because theyre kind human beings! while I will miss random people in the highway warning me that my hood is wobbling and unlatched, I do appreciate the attention to detail and thoughtfulness put into my repair.

They are in a small little facility but they helped me with very short notice. Very kind and helpful.

Although I had to buy the tool to fix my car because they didnt have it I give them a 5 star rating for work done and customer service. It maybe a small shop on the side of Hertz car rental on Western Boulevard but they have earned my business. If youre respectful and you treat them with kindness they will go above and beyond for you, and unlike other shops they only charge you for the time that they do actual work. My car sat in there a lot for about three weeks waiting on the part and they didnt charge me any lot fees all they charged me was for the work done. I highly recommend them to anybody and everybody oh, they will listen but remember theyre the mechanics theres a reason you brought your vehicle to them so let them do their job.

The people here were so nice and polite. You could tell they wanted to genuinely help people and not rip anyone off. They are incredibly helpful and flexible, and upfront about what the issues were. I definitely suggest taking your vehicles here (even diesels, we took ours here with no issues).

You may pass by this shop because of its location (behind Hertz car rental) in the old car lot- however they did a good job on our GTI!- mechanic was courteous and knowledgeable explained what was goin on- would visit again.

I’m happy with the job done in the vehicle no problem at all and the warranty offer after the job completed is outstanding. The only concern is that at the time to pay mention that I have to pay extra 4% of total price because I use a Credit Card.. how many stores do that 🤔

My car sat for three weeks and had no work done! I requested for them to replace the bad cables on my car and not only did they lie to me and tell me that they changed them, but a part on my car fell off because they FAILED to properly secure it. They are SO UNPROFESSIONAL AND UNEDUCATED ON WHAT THEY ARE DOING AND WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOT GOING TO THEM!!!

At 3PM on a Tuesday afternoon I called 15 automotive service locations and none would see me except for S & N. I was in and out in less than an hour and my issue was resolved cheaply.

I’ve always been skeptical about taking my vehicles to be worked on by other people but every now and then I encounter something I can’t do myself... I took my car to S&N and these guys new exactly what the issue was with little explanation. They had me in and out within a day and had the personalities and professionalism every business should strive to have. If I ever have another issue I can’t handle myself I’ll definitely be going to S&N !

Had overheating issues and fixed it in a timely manner. Also patched up my front bumper free of charge. Took great care of my antique vehicle. Love this place,will be coming back for any future repairs.

I needed a radiator installed and they were quick about it and so nice. I was in a panic trying to find someone to fix it and it was fixed same day. They are absolutely amazing and fair with pricing!

Ive had my car serviced here twice and both times the service hasnt been anything less than outstanding! The first experience was great, with S&N performing the work and more for less than half of what the dealership was trying to charge and in a way more timely fashion. I have also had a tire replaced here and was in and out within an hour and was charged very reasonably for the work performed and tire itself. I highly recommend S&N for any automotive repair needs you might have.

Found my new favorite auto shop in Jacksonville. Had my wheel cylinder replaced, very friendly great hourly rate, and honest. Definitely not one of those places that tells you there’s a million unnecessary things wrong with your vehicle. They were honest about some things my truck might need and weren’t pushy about getting it done. Will definitely be coming back here. Give them a shot you won’t be disappointed.

Went in for some vibrations I was getting from under my truck. They quickly diagnosed the problem and got it fixed fairly quick. The mechanic I turn my truck in to was very professional and knowledgeable, updating me with everything going on with it while they were working on it. I definitely recommend this place.

Worst auto shop Ive ever been to by far. Took my 2002 Cadillac Seville here when it was refusing to turn over. I was assured it was a starter, so I agreed to have it repaired. Over a week later it was FINALLY ready to go they said. I showed up and tried to start it and nothing. After a young mechanic attempted to charge the battery it finally had a small flicker of life as it turned over. $700 later I drove it home and tried to start it and nothing happened (also found dark grease smeared all over my white leather inside later.) After a trip to a Cadillac dealer I find out it was a Rear module the whole time. These are the most unprofessional individuals Ive ever met, and the worst $700 Ive ever spent. Part never ever needed to be replaced.

I highly recommend this shop for any repairs!! I had to wait 3 hrs for a tow and the shop was about to close when I arrived. I called and they were so friendly to wait for me and even gave me a solution that day!! Mechanic and front desk clerk are the best with customer service! They were completely honest and did not try to upsale me! It’s hard to find an auto shop that does that, but I will always come back to this one!!

Our AC compressor broke in our 2013 Sonata and the guys at this shop went above and beyond what we expected them to do. They tried to salvage the old compressor before having to put in a new one. They called us every step in the process to keep us updated on what they were doing and what was happening, and finished in only a few hours! The pricing is fair and honest. I will always recommend these guys!

I have been using them for almost 2 years now. Unfortunately I am a regular since my car is a piece of work! Ha. The mechanics are always very nice and patient when they explain the work theyve done or what needs done and why. There are only a few workers at the shop and their hands are full, but nevertheless they always make sure you feel like a priority!

Best group of guys! Last year I got a bad oil change on my car and knew it I blew up my motor. Stefano (one of the mechs there) quickly found and motor to put in my car and removed and replaced it in a timely matter. One year later, no problems still works like its new. The people who work here are nice, professional, I wish I could take them with me to Texas when I move lol I recommend these people to EVERYBODY for your automotive needs :)

Absolute garbage. They tried giving me the run around multiple times. They would say that they would call me with any updates, but they never did. I constantly had to call them just to get an answer. One time I had to call them three times in order to actually get a response. They just kept saying, well call you back in a bit, and they would forget. Not to mention they lied about when my car would be fixed. They would give me a time when my car would be fixed and then constantly make up some excuse why it wasnt fixed when that date arrived. Not to mention I have an older car and they just left my car outside without the cover to just sit there and rust. They literally didnt help me at all. Needless to say, I towed my car to a different shop that actually knows what theyre doing. These people shouldnt be mechanics

My husband and I just moved here last week, and our radiator busted the day after we arrived. I searched for mechanics and came across this place, and Im so glad I did! The employees were friendly, and honest. We wont be taking our car anywhere else but here!

Mechanic and other workers/helpers are nice and knowledgable. taking a while on my car though. been in the shop for a while and said i would receive update calls and i dont get them unless i call myself or stop by. very hard to reach by phone call.

Just moved here and our Jeep overheated. Precision tune quoted $800. They fixed it for 300. No more problems. The only place we will take our car.

They were very nice, but VERY unprofessional. The mechanic seemed to be very young and not very knowledgeable about vehicles. They told me the drive shaft was broken ( after I told them that another shops told me thats what it was), but the shaft they showed me that was broken was the axle shaft. I kept asking him what shaft it was and he wouldnt answer my question. And then they tried to make me pay $1,200 for a drive shaft, when theyre approx $400.

I just got my jeep back which needed a good amount of work. Usually I do the work myself but between work and moving I was busy. Its the first time Id been here and I havent had good luck from mechanic shops in Jacksonville NC and surrounding areas ***cough Allens on gumbranch and top gun tires COUGH*** I need a new fuel tank. So I went ahead and bought a new fuel tank, a walbro 255 fuel pump, a new fuel filter with swappable wix filters. I buy my own parts with voids me from there warranty but I get parts at cost so while I was waiting for this parts I took them a set of front and rear brakes, ss brake lines and fluid for a complete job and flush. Got the fuel parts in and took those up there. Got the jeep back today for a cost of about 1100$ and I am completely satisfied. The brakes are like day and night. And I can tell the fuel system is running alot better. I am about to install upgraded injectors and new fuel rails and a hesco adjustable fuel regulator to finish it off. If you want good honest work . S&n is the place . They called me for everything and kept me in the loop. Ill go back in the future!!!

Went in because my Sons car was having trouble starting. Several places told me it was the battery and one said it was the alternator. S&N took the time to troubleshoot the issue and had me out the door in no time. It wasnt the battery or alternator, just a loose connection. I would definitely recommend them to my family and friends.
