Scan design has unique and comfortable furniture. Staff are great but Krista Byers hit a home run for us. She was not pushy, did not seem arrogant but listened to us and even came to our home to gain a better understanding of our vision. She was the reason for our purchase. Nice furniture but had bought a lamp that had a defect which I brought back to the store.I was told it was a small fix and they would send it out .It took many phone calls to finally get it after 2 months in repair.I felt it was poor business on their part as I should have been given a new lamp instead of waiting 2 months .

For many years I’ve kept a thought alive to solve a way to divide my dining area from the living room without building a wall (or the medieval wrought-iron as my original contractor planned). Recently the pandemic lockdown gave me time to plot some layouts and after many redraws, the solution came to a long free standing buffet divider. Then began a lot of internet hopping and an idea to check out Scan Design.Scan Design’s Nordic flavor has always been a draw for me, perhaps because I grew up in Scandia-Pacific-Northwest or more likely, it’s just their clean functional designs and high-quality products. I contacted Hailee Lutz, a Design Associate at Scan Design, and we discussed a buffet I selected from their website, a visit was planned. Scan Design’s showroom is beautiful and Hailee reviewed the selection I made on-line. Hailee Lutz is highly knowledgeable of her products and has a sense to know when to be informative. When it appeared my on-line-pick was to far off color for my application, we browsed and she answered questions about other pieces. While Hailee was away to get some information, I walked around and saw the Mambo buffet and in one second I knew it was the answer.The Mambo has lots of storage for the many cooking devices collected over the years. It has a beautiful walnut finish on the top, both sides (does not have to be backed to a wall), and ends that are a match for my dining area. The sliding doors are perfect for a tight walk-by-space and build throughout is of the highest quality.Delivery was fast and done with care, it was my pleasure to shop at Scan Design.

I bought an expensive BDM standing desk. I arrived damaged with chips in the edge of the glass top. After several back and forth exchanges, Scan Design has decided not to repair or replace the desk. The chips in the glass are where I rest my arm while working - I am reminded of their lack of customer service every time I use it. We will not be buying any more furniture from Scan Design. Be careful what you buy from them. If you cant take it with you in perfect condition you may be as disappointed as we have been.

Greg the manager runs a great show. Even after the warranty expires he made good on replacing an area rug that was not wearing well and kitchen stools that faded. It’s nice to see a store stand behind their products even after warranty period. We will def continue to shop there.

A bit overpriced because of the commissions but very nice quality furniture and if you get something that does not hold up is expected they do try to compensate. Very happy with things weve bought there except for a bed. Will buy again in the future.

We have made multiple purchases from Scandesign in Jacksonville including a dining room set, desk, coffee table and cocktail table. They sell beautiful, high grade merchandise that we have been very happy with. Their sales staff (we have worked with both Krista and Inna) are very helpful and knowledgeable. Their customer service is great as is their followup and their delivery people provide 5 star white glove treatment. Truly a great furntiure that I strongly recommend

I have come into the store multiple times to look around at all the beautiful furniture. Rachael always took time to show and talk to me about prices and details for different pieces. When it came time to buy a couch, I took my husband straight to Scan design. Rachael listened to our eclectic style and what type of furniture we already had. She helped us pick out the perfect couch and custom ordered it in cognac! We received our couch right on time and it fits perfectly in our living room (thank you Rachael for telling us to go home and measure). Rachael has since followed up and is on the hunt for the perfect end table for us. We couldnt be happier with our experience at Scan Design and Rachael!

In February of 2012 we purchased from Scan Design a white chandelier which was manufactured by Trans Globe Lighting (2758-MDN822). In 2020 I accidentally hit the chandelier with my head and broke 5 individual leaves. I went to Scan Design to see if they had any replacement leaves and they did provide me with 3, but I was still short by 2. Greg Stanton (Manager @ Scan Design) went above the call of duty and went back to to the manufacturer and over the course of several months was able to secure 8 additional leaves from the manufacturer at no additional cost to me as a consumer. Greg’s follow up and persistence resulted in us having our chandelier in perfect condition once again. My wife Margaret has purchased several furniture items over the years and it is because of managers like Greg Stanton that we will always go to Scan Design. We are very appreciative of the follow through work that Greg did for us. Been looking for a unique coffee table, many stores & so many websites. we didnt know what we really wanted. well I drove to Jacksonville, FL and walked in. had several we liked and so the new teakwood coffee table look great in our living room. helpful staff, the prices are a bit high, but my wife and I found what we were looking for. highly recommend!

I wish they would disclose on there application that they do a background check on employees. They should also let people know that it doesnt matter if they paid for there crime or even how long ago it was that they will not have a job. That could have saved time for both of us. Unique, modern, sleek, Scandinavian/European furniture that you will not find elsewhere. The staff is nice, attentive, but not pushy at all or following you around. But it is not cheap at all so dont expect Rooms To Go pricing. You do have to pay for the quality and style.

Went to the store looking for a focal point for the living area on Memorial Day 2019 (May 27). As of the day of this post, we have still not received the coffee and end table and for the past two weeks have been given erroneous information about where it is. The hilarious part was that originally we would pick the piece up from their store because we live ten minutes away and after 43 days and counting we had to suggest they give us free delivery. Just another terrible disappointment in a sea of disappointments - probably would have been better off just burning my cash in a living room fire pit. Will never give this place my business again.

Their furniture is so beautiful and unique. Havent seen the same quality anywhere so far. Very polite and helpful employees.

Victor Pedraz assisted us in decorating our entire house with Scan furniture! We love the look and ever changing new product lines. There’s nothing like this in Jacksonville so definitely stop in - prices are reasonable and service is wonderful !
