Just had the worst experience with a woman that may have been the owner. I needed a nitrogen tank and I called ahead to make sure they had it. Spoke to a nice man that confirmed they have it. Went in to pick it up, lady tells me they dont have it. I said to her politely that I spoke to a gentlemen who said they did. She disappears for a minute a comes back with the tank. She gives it to me, visibly annoyed. It felt light so I asked her POLITELY if she was sure it was a full one it felt light. She gets loud with and says you want it or not? Then says you know what you can leave. I lost it at that point gave her a few choice words and left. What an awful experience.

This is the only place in Jacksonville to get your home brewing ingredients. Friendly service and a great selection. Very knowledgeable staff will help you out even if you are a beginner. Join the local home brewing club for an extra 10% off of your entire bill. Two locations are very convenient from just about anywhere in town, and I frequently go to both.

Best place in town for home brewing supplies. The guys working there can be a bit abrasive and grumpy at times, but they always act in your best interests and make sure you leave with what you need. Also always happy to dish out some advice and grain or good substitution guidance!

Cheapest CO2 refills in Jax by far. AirGas charges $33 for a 5lb tank refil and Just Brew it does it for about $20

The gentlemen that run the place are very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. This was the second visit. We have a place closer but it never seems to be open, so decided to try this place. Glad we did, we will be back.

Really good Brew shop, beats or meets amazon prices and has good variety of ingredients and equipment. Helpful staff and laid back environment. I havent been to any other Brew shop in the city but I really dont feel the need to.

We just purchased our first kegrator and struggled with getting it work properly. Walter went WAY above and beyond with his customer services. After three calls and a trip to his store, Walter offered on his own time to make a house call. If I could give more than 5 stars...I would. Highly recommend a visit for all your beer needs

Shopped here on a handful of occasions. The prices of items sold there seem to be a national secret because I never really knew what I was about to spend until checking out. Only once have a had friendly interaction with the staff. The rest of the times I felt as though I was annoying them by just setting foot in the place. Last time I was there I went in for ingredients and was informed they had just soldout because of a large order and that they wouldnt get anymore till next week. Went back a week later asking if they had gotten the delivery of that ingredient...No, was the only answer I got. Turned around and walked out the door, havent been back. With service like that, Amazon now gets my business. Two day deliver and better prices.

Really helped me out with questions about home brewing. I have compared their prices on equipment and extract kits and found that they are pretty competitive with what you would find online. The selection seemed a little limited, but they did have a kit for the style beer I wanted. I just wish they werent located so far away!

First time visit for the initial buy of equipment for my first home brew batch and greeted by Walter the minute I walked through the door. He was helpful and understanding of my rookie situation in making the first buy and made it a very pleasant experience.

I walked in being a dumbass. I explained where I was in the brewing process and got treated as if I was the only person to ever brew! The guys were so happy to help a hick like me. BEWARE OF RENTING FROM HERE: Rented a keg tap there for $10, with $50 deposit. Walter charged my card and held my check till I returned. After the weekend I tried to return tap and new guy in store could not find my check. I had to return the next day. The same guy that charged my card said I had to pay a $10 per day charge. I thought he was joking - but he was dead serious. He never gave me anything to look at, sign, nor did he mention any late fee when I picked up the tap. I told him to keep the check. I will not set foot in there again.
