I will not be back to this store! This is the second trip I have made to this store specifically for chickens from over an hour away. Each time I have called before driving there and ask what chickens are in stock. Both times they told me they had over 30 Red laced blue Wyandotte chicks in stock. Both times when I got there they didn’t have the chickens I specifically asked for. I spoke with a manager “Jason” on the phone and he told me they did in fact have 32 of those chicks in stock. When I asked to speak with him about the issue at the store in person he told me that “it was busy and he couldn’t go to look what they had”. That is pathetic. People like me drive a long ways and make special trips for something I SPECIFICALLY asked for! If he didn’t have time then all he had to do was say that! Not lie to me and confirm that they had 32 in stock. This is the worst customer service ever and is so rude! I will not bother with chicks from a Buchheit again

The guy back in the feed dept.(cant remember his name,he is a veteran) is very helpful, making sure you get what you need. Ive been buying feed from there for over 30yrs,hes one of the best employees theyve had.

Friendly staff and decently priced kids attire. The ducks and chickens are always fun too!

Drove over to check out their pet supplies. Nice selection to choose from.

We drove 45 miles to get rabbit feed. There wasnt any on the floor so we asked for someone to check and see if they had any in back. Someone showed up and when we asked him if there was anymore of the brand of rabbit feed we wanted in back? He was very rude to us as his reply was : You dont see any sitting therw do ya???We will drive to Missouri or some other store for our business.

I had an interview with them I say a month ago and they never called me back. Guess you have to be high society to be noticed before anyone will give you a job! Never again will I go here to shop or put an application in! Why waste my time when you had no intentions of hiring me or even giving me a chance!

This is a great farm & home store, with a wide variety of products. One of my favorite places to shop.

I recently purchased a generator for my farm and after just a few hours it stopped working. I contacted the store and was told to bring it it so they could send it off to have it checked out. After a couple weeks I received a call and was told due to an electrical issue it was unrepairable and to stop by the store and pick up a new one. The employees couldnt have been more helpful. A big thank you to everyone at Buchheits for your help. Always a pleasure to do business with you!

We were getting ready to remodel our kitchen, so we were looking for new cabinets.Whoever thought we would find cabinets at Buchheits? I had no idea they had cabinets, let alone cabinets that were so well made. We were also pleasantly surprised that Buchheits had a cabinet designer on staff. Melissa traveled from Jacksonville to Brighton to measure for our cabinets at no charge. While the big box store that is located 15 minutes from us charged $49. The person they sent to measure had our kitchen six inches longer than it really is. When we went to pick up the drawings from the box store a week later, they were not ready, even though we had an appointment. Melissa had the drawings ready when she said she would and her measurements were correct. She worked with us to get some of the extras we were looking for and arranged for installation that fit our busy schedule. The cabinets are installed. They were reasonable and look great. I would highly recommend the Jacksonville Buchheits and Melissa.Laura Gray
