It was a clean store, our first visit to this one. Bathroom was the cleanest looking one yet. The employees tried to help with everything from pricing to locating items. They werent very knowledgeable about all areas of the store; but management was fast to arrive and patiently assist us. Very nice people (during closing), not rushing or demanding. Even watched us get to our car safely late at night. Will go there again. I usually avoid Walmart at all costs. Not this one.
Seems really nice for my second time there. Just moved here a week ago...still learning the city.
Same as other Walmarts. The major problem with this one deals with the stocking team. The price tags are either missing or in the wrong place. I saw camp cots thrown hap-hazard into a end cap of basketball hoop stands. Some of the problems are related to the remodel going on but most is just human error. End of shift I want to go type things.
This is my neighborhood Walmart. I shop this store daily. Normally pleasant experience, as long as you dont have to use the customer service department. Which here lately has been closed about 5-6pm. What about people who work during the day. And only have evenings to handle their business.
This Walmart is one of the biggest Walmarts I have seen in a very long time. This Walmart has great options with shoes and many other fashion crisis.Self checkout was fast and easy. The mask were ugly and overpriced. Thankfully I found really cute disney mask for $1.00 SHOCKING ! I TOTALLY GOT LUCKY!The parking lot is also huge and had many places to park near the store despite it being so busy.
I just left everything I had spent 40 minutes shopping for because none of the self checkout registers accept cash. There were only 2 other registers open and the lines were at least 10 people deep. This has happened to me now in at least 3 other Walmarts in Jacksonville and once in Georgia. Cash should be accepted at all locations and registers. Not everyone pays with cards. Target will gladly take my money.
My favorite Walmart ever big and fancy bathrooms have upgraded with more privacy clean and sanitary very busy social distancing is not apparent but respectful helpful employees
Like all Walmarts, this one is also remodeling. Nothing is easy to find and none of the employees know where anything is. The staff is as helpful as they can be and very nice.It doesnt always feel safe to shop there after dark.
Opened more self check outs for faster checkout experience
Great store always stocked its convenient to 95 and 295
Woodforest Bank help is super fast BUT, incorrect for email account connection.Called about it but still have to appear inside the bank. Ouch I didnt see that coming... 😆🤣😂
Someone is always at the front door to greet you. Always shows you were an item is if you cant find it.
Always a beautiful experience. Shop here often. Neat, clean and organized. Employees are polite, professional and courteous.
Five star entertainment: you really get the full meal deal with this location. More often than not there will be police cars in front, a verbal altercation happening in the parking lot, or just your regular “sketchy activities” happening inside. Definitely worth a grocery trip to take it all in.
Nice store and its convenient to 95 and 295
They always have what you need.
Came in for artisanal hard cheese and was not disappointed. Easy access up front at the deli, avoiding the dreaded wal mart experience of walking miles and dodging carts with distracted parents, kids in tow. Quick self check out. They are earning my business back after years of avoidance for above mentioned reasons. I hope they add more selection of products like this.
Good luck ever paying cash at these stores. Self checkout card only and 3 registers backed all the way up. Takes an hour to get 1 item if using cash. Ridiculous. Get your act together conglomerate corporate squares.
Terrible customer service. I hate I had to go here. I needed help so I asked an employee with a Walmart vest on and on the floor walking around for help since what I needed was locked up. This guy put his hand up at me and said Im not on the clock he walked away and left me standing there. I wish companies cared as much about the customer experience as they did the money.
Not enough employees, long lines, self check is arranged oddly...cash on some, cards on others only.
In and out..the greeter had a handicap..was o so nice and helpful
Store was empty when I go there no one it seemed like just employees. Store was clean I was shopping diabetic supplies and everything was organized neat and stocked. I looked one to find items I was looking for ahead of time. Everything g was correct online so finding what isle products were on was a breeze. I would recommend this store definitely
Lost out on 300 worth of purchases because you have a young female thats working tonight with an.older gentleman on.cruthces who vBoth failed to inform me it was a card only line. When i.had a handful of cash an big bills. When I asked if an expensive item was on sale ahe never found out the price just stood there. You got 2 non observant people in an position that needs it. Put the middle age very aware greeter you have working right now as I write this. Pleasant African lady that worked the vending machine exit Use the books and get her more pay an there she way more personable and observant4
Very clean store, friendly employees, nice atmosphere, nicely stocked shelves.
I love walmart. They had these pretty t- shirt dresses. I got 4. They are comfortable. They were not expensive.
Clean. Just not in the greatest location. And very few cashier to help you get out in timely manner. Self checkout wasnt too long either.
With an extremely few exceptions the staff at the store are really helpful and courteous and I like that in a place that Im shopping. They have no problem with you asking where things are and most will walk you to it if theyre not too busy
Called grocery pickup 6 times, nobody ever answered the phone. Called the main number. Person who answered transferred me to electronics. Woman in electronics didnt know how to transfer the phone. I even honked a few times. Nobody ever came out. 3 UberEATS customers arent getting their groceries now.
The lines were long today on a Sunday morning as to be expected. I was in line behind two pretty large orders during which I got to observe a cashier by the name of Dora. This young woman displayed the absolute best customer service Ive ever seen. Dora was patient with her customers and focused her attention on each of us as we passed through her line. She greeted all the customers individually when we got up to her and complimented our children. She was kind, courteous and friendly all while working as promptly possible to get us all through the line in a timely manner. We need more like Dora in this world.
The office manager at this facility saved me loosing everything. I moved here for work but somewhere in the move I lost my SS card. In case you havent had to apply for one online make sure your mailing address on your Id is the same as your current mailing address. Mine wasnt because I just moved here and was unable to change it because I need a social security card to do so. The office manager listened to my situation and she made it possible for me to go to work after being terminated for not having my ss card for my I-9 form. Im currently in the rehiring process with the company I moved here to work for. Without the help and support of both my future employer and this office manager I would be heading back north to the snow and the cold.Patients Patients Patients getting angry wont help you.
No one In electronics during night time and when you ask another employee about that section they hurry up and say I cannot help you because that’s not my section and I don’t have a key to that section which is no customer service at all at least go find or call the person that work in that section back to there station literally spent almost 2 hours trying to get help most of the night shift employees need to get fired and what’s the point of being a manager if you’re not monitoring it they need a whole new night crew honestly
I shop here almost daily since it’s just a mile or two from my apartment. I wish it was still open 24/7 but the hours are still great and the prices are unbeatable.
The air conditioning was exceptionally hot and the lack of a mask mandate in place was just irresponsible. Also as always there was only about 2 registers open in the whole store.
They had what I was looking for and I got a lot of good walking exercise too.
My family started coming to this Walmart recently because its closer however we will not return. Today after checking out, we walked to the exit as usual where the man that greets and checks receipts was standing there waiting but all of the sudden and women came running up from out of no where and demanded to check our receipt. She went over every single item in my car, touching all of my groceries. Then she began to accuse us of stealing a jug of Arizona tea. She said this tea is not on the receipt several times. I knew for a fact we scanned that item so I tried to explain this to her but she insisted that we did not pay for this item. My husband finally showed her it on the receipt and instead of apologizing she shoved the receipt into my husbands hands and walked off. Meanwhile, the man that normally checks the receipts is letting customer after customer go by without checking any of their carts. This was very upsetting and I felt as if she singled my family out for reasons unknown to me. We have never been treated like that at any other Walmart location in Jacksonville. After leaving my young children even asked us why that women treated us that way and why were we being accused of stealing. I asked my husband to go back in to get her name but she was then no where to be found, meaning she doesnt normally check receipts and she simply ran up to check ours and accuse us of stealing a 2$ jug of juice. If they allow their associates to single families out like this, that is absolutely disgusting and Walmart as a company should be ashamed. I have contacted corporate but of course have gotten no response. I will continue to contact corporate until I do because this was an awful experience for myself and my young children and should not be allowed in your stores. The actual store is okay. Associates are rude. Lines are always extremely long, with maybe two registers open. If you ask for help you get treated as a nuisance. The shelves are almost always empty and un-stocked. Its a remodeled store so it looks somewhat clean but from the looks of it the employees dont do much cleaning, stocking or customer service. If I was you Id definitely drive to the Walmart on beach. The store isnt new but it doesnt matter because you actually get treated with a little respect.
Walmart is a blight upon the local economic infrastructure. It beings me great shame to even admit i have shopped here. I just came to get my meds from the pharmacy okay? Its not like I go regularly. Dont look at me like that Im only human. I needed yogurt so i bought some all right? Give me a friggin break its not like I was the one who decided to privatize the federal reserve. I didnt ask for this capitalist oligarchy. . .
It was nice until I got to the self-service area where I scanned a chicken sandwich from the hot food area that was labeled for $2.50 but scanned $2.76, I asked the employee to delete because it scanned over the price label, she proceeded to tell me the price of it went up and it was the price scanned only, she then went over to the deli area w/ the sandwich to ask an employee about the price repeating it loudly to the deli employee about it being the higher price of $2.76, he agreed, she then came to me saying it wasnt $2.50 it was $2.76 that it scanned and asked did I still want it?, shes lucky I was hungry so I conceded and didnt make a big fuss, I shouldve asked for a manager or supervisor over her b/c I know the store is suppose to honor the lower price labeled on the sandwich, I shouldve asked her to remove it completely since she didnt honor it, this same thing happened to me at Family Dollar with trash bags, these places need to honor the lower prices they have posted and labeled.
Okay, so Walmart was out of ice... They are doing a reorg./refresh of this store, so Ill give them an out. They still had all the other things I needed! : )
We found new ideas for decorating our new home
It is being renovated and rearranged at the moment. Pharmacy is nice and clean.
Lots better than Beach Blvd. store. I browse 4evr and feel they follow me thinking Im stealing, oh well. Real reason ❤️ location...lots of florescent sl** gear for my blacklight bedroom. Im about 50 feeling like 25 with all that, just sayin 😍
Great store..wish employees were more helpful and friendly..
Ive always had a good experience shopping at the Walmart in Mandarin, however they are closing that store for good which bumms me out to see it close..
Good enough but definitely a $&it$how hard the time. Love the regular grocery guys at pick up!
There were only 4 lanes open and they were very long. Even the area for self check out was very long. I understand there maybe a shortage of workers, but if the company gave their employees a better salary, they mail be inclined to come back to work. Just my thoughts on the matter
By far this was the most nicest store Ive been in. It was clean, staff was friendly, didnt get run down by the homeless getting out of the car.
Betty at this location is the sweetest customer service person I’ve ever had at any Walmart. Very professional and quick too!
Who doesnt love WalMart! They have it all in the store or online! I go shopping there quite a bit and I buy all my groceries there. Love this store and the employees that make it all come together! They are awesome!
Its Walmart. Things are still low supply but most of all the items I shop for are available. There are self checkout lanes and there are a decent amount of cashier lanes open when I shop.
Its ok. Nothing special with this location. It is one of the Walmarts that attracts riff raff because of the neighborhood its located in. But maybe the security has tightened up over there, i dont know. Staff are helpful and were friendly. Thats always a plus for a Walmart.
Horrible experience. Hor-ri-ble!!!
Walmart speaks for itself...everything under one roof. However this particular store was not in the best area and in parts of the store, was not the cleanest. Still like Walmart though.
Its a Walmart. It will have your needs for the household and other necessities.
There are only a few of the staff that I have encountered to be nice. The rest roll their eyes and act as if you are a bother! Do not expect more than 2 lanes to be open. Customers mostly have to use self check out! Walmart, the place where you used to be greeted at the door!!! Ha ha, once again another company taking the workers out of the picture and relying on machine and the customer to do the work!!! Well no thank you I will go somewhere else even if I have to pay a little more. Their prices arent great enough for me to keep shopping there so I can get off my job and do more work!!! NO THANK YOU
Great shopping here. I can always usually find what Im looking for and at a reasonable price
I went in, got what I needed and was gone . Very enjoyable trip
Walmart is awesome they just need to have more registers open to make the time thats spent waiting to checkout will be cut in half
Well stocked of items one would get during a grocery run. One item didnt scan and Walmart associate was quick to assist and helpful.
WalMart is always a great place to buy groceries. Love shopping here!!!
Theyre always only have 2 registers open its like they want you to be a robot and just go to the self checkout lines self checkout lines dont pay social security Social Security Part B trying to become paralyzed workers its a really hard place to work a workmans comp so its not fund the deal with overall its just a really bad store the pricing on Home Improvement is okay
Not what I was expecting. Managers need to make sure that all belts at cashiers station need to be cleaned at all times. Pandemic or not.. All belts should be cleaned. Customers should not have to put their food or any items on the belt while it is not clean. 😕
I actually dont mind this parking lot. Not too busy and usually has everything I need.
Supercenter, great place to shop, and browse ( youll Always find something thats not on your list, But, you needed to buy). I always say that anything you need to buy,,,Walmart always has a price you can afford. Great cool place that us Seniors like to shop and spend time in along with anywhere else.
Always a drab place to visit. Parking is always plentiful but nasty. People sleeping in cars on one side of the parking lot. Shopping carts littered all over including 1/4 mile from the store. Most employees were pleasant today as opposed to other days when theyre just not heappy with life. I never buy food at Wal-Mart. Ive seen how its handled for the most part. Mostly by customers leaving gallons of milk in the garden center and meat down an appliance isle. My hope is that this stuff is written off. I only frequent Walmart now when I need anything not food related. All in all, i try to avoid this place.
I just love Walmart ❣️❣️
This place has gone down hill in a major way over the last several years. Shelves are empty, other shelves are a mess...opened containers, boxes, etc. The freezer section is atrocious. For 98% of my shopping needs, I now go to Publix or drive to the Walmart on Beach Blvd....the one on Philips Id awful. I have nothing good to say.
I mean Walmart supercenter is still setting itself up but its Walmart so it was a good experience to get groceries
Its a decent Walmart. A little on the crazy side sometimes but in general they tend to always have whatever you might need where a lot of other ones will be out of items or things
Just go somewhere elseIm forces by google to place at least a star.....i dont want too
It wasnt to crowded when I visited this Walmart. The product on shelf was stocked, but the product that was on end-caps, or in center isle displays wasnt very well organized and kinda looked as if it was just thrown out there.
Love the free pickup service for groceries and anything else you need,
The store is being remodeled but it was organized very neatly and I had A smooth time locating what I was looking for.
Easy to get in and out of the parking lot. Had the items I was looking for. Not enough registers open and I am not about to self-checkout because I dont get a discount for doing it and I dont work there.
Its a pretty good Walmart.
They had a lot of products I was looking for. Some Walmart dont stock well & they are under construction, too. Someone stole 2 bottles of vitamin water from a pack & I let an associate know who seemed glad I said something.
Easy to park and less crowded.Customer care inside is less available.Pickup is also good.
They always just what Im looking for. Customer service is good
How do you not have Apple Pay? It’s 2021, get with the times. Amazon needs to open a physical store.
They say they do not allow big truck parking but i have seen many big trucks in there parked at night. I think its at their discretion. If you are nice about it and ask politely, you should be good.
Awesome except... The grocery pickup is on the SIDE of the store... I imagine the demographic for this service wouldnt feel safe if it gave me pause...
Great place to do shoppings
Service normally is good when I go to Walmart on Emerson... but I dont know what was wrong with the customer service rep today... she mustve been been mad at her manager... she did not speak at all... did not say thank you for coming or anything... did not hold her head up and if I had gotten her name tag I would put that here...it was Lane 6...but she needs some customer service training...
Our cashier was picking her nose while bagging our groceries then blew her nose and didn’t go sanitize or wash and continued to bag or groceries with gloves on I would not suggest anybody go to this Walmart ever unless you want some type of disease from the employees!
Customer service was nice and fast the shells were a little empty but I got everything that was on my list Im disabled and they had plenty of electric carts working charged up and ready to go
I was trying to get a car battery replacement on 7/20/2021 and this personnel at the customer service said she cannot do it due to the reason that they dont have a battery tester. She did not even check if it is still under warranty, all she wants me to do is to go to another store. She is not really trying to help, she should not be in customer service area, she is very arrogant and sarcastic. I bought the battery on Feb. 2021 and it is clearly under warranty she is just not really helpful and the thing is if they dont have battery tester then stop selling batteries.
Understaffed. Hobo fights in the parking lot sometimes. The pickup service is great!
Value, variaty, loads of selection. Only thing needed would be more electric shopping carts
Found all my items .easy check out
What can i say? Walmart is walmart.some good some bad. Mainly its just a place to shop.
I needed assistance with an item. The store employee Elizabeth was great but when she tried to get a mgr or supervisor to override and assist he walked right pass her on the phone with no acknowledgment what so ever?
If you like standing in line waiting on your turn, cause all the self checkouts are cards only........by the grab and go too.........not really grab and go more like grab and wait. Nobody should have to use their card for a $1.02
Always find what I want
