Fantastic...they really took good care of us

My experience with these guys was kind of average. They do seem to know their stuff and have been around very long and have good stuff, but there is the air of we have so much business, that we will take it slow, kind of hard to get an answer and easy to offend someone that works here over nothing, which enhances the attitude of the outsider getting in their way.

This company constantly misses THEIR OWN deadlines. Makes doors wrong. I guess they haven’t heard of doub checking. No regard for their customers missed deadlines based on dates they give. Customer service is lacking to say the least. They need training all the way around. If you need something done right the first time I would definitely NOT recommend Bill Thrower.

Ive ordered primed wood trim from them 2 times now. Both times the product has been straight, smooth and beautiful. They deliver really quick, which I would say is the best part. Not to mention their prices are better than Lowes or Home Depot, and better quality.

We have used Throwers twice this year to purchase 3 doors for our home remodel. I can tell you the prices are hard to beat. I bought 2 36 exterior doors and 1 interior French door and the prices are at least 40%+ cheaper than lowes and home depot. From what I can tell the product quality is definitely above the big box stores too! Its not that I have a bunch of experience with doors but I know where we are going next time! Dont waste your time and come here for your door needs! I hope you get lucky and Brett handles your order! The guy is quality!

Went to Bill Thrower Co for a complete front door & sidelights. Gentleman who finally waited on us with a completely staffed front office after 10 minutes of waiting, was rude & condescending. Said he called back in 1 hour with prices. I had to call 4 days later. I asked to speak with a manager. Explained what happened and he (Gerald) was very courteous and had someone get in touch with me that day. Since then, I have called and left messages everyday for a week on salesmans cell and in the office, with no response. Door entryway that I like runs over $3K so we are not talking about a small job. If you want lack of customer service, call them. If they ever get in touch with me, Ill update this review.

Im not sure of all products they have. I was looking for molding. They had a large selection. There were pictures on a chart to view the different shapes. They also had free samples to take home.I must apologize to Mr Bill Thrower I accidently submitted one photo to Google. A person was in the photo. I am working on trying to delete it from Google. Its not a bad photo. I mistakenly added it to the business photos.

Was there November 7th and bought a pair of French doors. Told the sales clerk, Larry, what we wanted, specifically interior opening and left side door to be made with handle because the way our livingroom is made. Door was made quickly and delivered at our request, which we thought was wonderful. The door was placed in our garage and left for two weeks until our contractor came to install it. My son noticed on the top of the frame a large wood screw coming through in entry door about an inch from the top. We called and I asked for Larry who was no longer with the company. I spoke to another clerk who informed me to take the damaged door off the frame and bring it to them for replacement . My husband and I thought that this was not acceptable since they delivered a damaged door so I called back. I spoke with another clerk who advised they would pick it up and make us a NEW door then deliver them when they were finished. We waited a week or so they came picked it up. I didnt hear anything for a bit so I called and the clerk advised the would be delivered within the week. The door was delivered only to see that the NEW door wasnt new, only patched and sanded down. Two different finishes on the door can be seen and the contractor was not wanting to install the door. The frame was off, tight and the top and loose on the bottom. You could see light coming through from the handle down to the bottom. At this point the contractor had been rescheduled twice because of this and we had no choice but to install the doors. Which opened on the right not the left, the quality of the doors are not worth what we paid and since then Ive phoned twice and I asked for the owner but was told he was in meetings and given his email. I sent 2 emails and never was given a return phone call or a return email. Poor customer service and craftsmanship. Before this we were considering using them for our windows also but this company doesnt deserve the business.

I Purchased a door and had someone else pick it up. It was a female who wasnt sure if the quality of the door was okay. It was absolutely unusable. Damaged, water spots, they even admitted in email the door was not a finished product from the vendor however they would not return it because we picked it up and The door is ours at that point. BUILDER BUYER BEWARE THEY DO NOT STAND AGAINST THEIR PRODUCTS and they apparently will give females inferior products to clean their inventory.

Worst company I have ever dealt with. REFUSED to repair or replace the FAULTY door they installed. I had to dispute them through my credit card company to get my money back since they would not fix the product. I won the dispute.

Great place. After going to Home Depot/Lowes looking for a triple french doors, I got lucky and had a friend refer me to Bill Thrower....Throwers got me the doors, custom built, with Low E glass, lifetime warranty, for under half of what HD/Lowes wanted, and delivered them in 3 days...The other guys needed 4-6 weeks for a custom order...Recommended for sure.
