Coggin Honda really knows how not to treat repeat customers, and inevitably missed out on a major sale.Thus far, I have purchased 2 vehicles from Coggin Honda on Atlantic Blvd, a white 2003 Acura CL Type-S, and a white 2013 Honda Pilot EX-L. I returned this week to purchase another sedan, either a 2021 Honda Accord Sport 1.5T or a 2021 Honda Accord Sport 2.0T, but instead I was compelled to walk out after being utterly disrespected.I showed up for an appointment with my current sedan, a 2015 Acura RLX (w/Advance Package), that I purchased from Fields Mercedes-Benz in OCT2018. I arrived with the intention of trading it in and leaving with a new car (no need for extended warranties when theres only 2 miles on the odometer).Prior to arrival, I listed my RLX on AutoTrader & Facebook Marketplace. I also received the KBB Instant Cash Offer for $11,000 (the KBB ICO “range” was from $11,000 to $14,000). I had already received multiple offers for my RLX, from various dealerships, including an offer from a fellow Coggin Auto Group dealer for $13,000 (Coggin Toyota, near the Avenues Mall).Instead of accurately appraising my RLX with an understandable deduction for the mileage, they focused solely on an obvious CLERICAL ERROR from a Fields Mercedes-Benz staff member (per the Carfax) that occurred BEFORE I ever bought the RLX.The results: I was presented a poor excuse of an offer that amounts to a slap to the face and was a blatant waste of valuable time.Theres an inventory shortage when it comes to new Hondas. Not sure if thats the logic theyve used to monumentally miss the mark on an appraisal. Guess Ill have to experience that new car smell elsewhere.Word-of-mouth travels fast!

I bought my car recently from Coggin Honda. I took it for first service visit and had very positive experience. I was treated professionally and with courtesy. Car was serviced in less than one hour. I was explained service points including what to expect at next visit!

I was late for my appointment, but they still took me and had my car ready when promised. Service people were friendly and polite. I was pleased with my service and will definitely return.

I was told that my diagnostic was complimentary but it ended up costing me a lot and the issue wasn’t even resolved. And to add to that it took almost two days to get the car back. Other than this experience I’m normally pleased with the service for basic issues.

Will Smith is by far the best car salesman ive ever met. I had been looking for a specific civic for about 6 weeks at other places. Wont detail how terrible that went. I booked on-line for an appointment to get my A/C checked. It possibly needs to be recharged. After arriving a bit early, at the check-in desk I was asked if I could leave the car overnight. I could not - too much going on right now. The person checking me in had no idea that I had an appointment or why. So I wasted 45 minutes driving there and back. I was extremely disappointed with the lack of coordination and communication and if I can find an alternative I won’t go back.

Visited Coggin about a month ago. I didn’t think I’d walk away with a car that day! If I could give 10 stars I would. Long story short, my wife and I had just left Arlington Toyota after having the worst car buying experience imaginable and dealing with the most crooked salespeople weve ever encountered. We were about to travel back to Panama City empty-handed after having driven 5 hours in the rain to pick up the car we had found online when we just happened to pull into Coggin Honda (which was only a couple blocks down the road). We were greeted by the friendliest, most helpful salesperson ever, Ali. We told her about our experience at Arlington Toyota and she immediately empathized with us and decided to show us a couple of vehicles that were similar (but newer and nicer) to the one we were looking at earlier at Toyota. They were both significant upgrades to what we had been looking at and were a decent bit outside of our price range. We told her that we loved what she was showing us, but didnt think it was realistic for us. She then went and spoke to her sales manager, Rodney Hayes and told him our story. He came out feeling sorry for us and asked us what we had been looking to pay for the original vehicle we had traveled to Jacksonville for. We told him and he said to give him a few minutes and hed see what he could do. After a few minutes, he came walking out and informed us the good news...that they were willing to sell us the newer, nicer vehicle for exactly what we needed it to be out the door. No hard negotiating...no back and forth...just a friendly smile from a couple of people who were genuinely trying to help others who were having a rough day.It is rare to have such an experience when buying a car, so I want to make sure that this review gives these fine folks at Coggin Honda the credit that they deserve. I sold a car remotely to this dealership and it was by far the easiest car transaction I have ever experienced. Roula was the only person I dealt with and she was prompt to respond, extremely friendly and eager to make a happy customer. I bought my car here many years ago.The part department is terrible. I tried calling today and they didnt pick up the phone around noon on a Saturday. Also, I called a few weeks ago to ask about tire prices and they were very rude and incompetent. They kept sending me to service despite telling them it is a special order that needed to be placed through parts. Ill gladly change my review if they would just improve this one department because otherwise the service and sales department are great.

Weve purchased two vehicles from Coggin Honda over the years and have had the majority of our service for those vehicles done there. The sales department is good, with minimum haggling, not too pushy, but still have the ability to negotiate. The service department has been a far more mixed experience. On too many occasions for it to be simply a coincidence, our tires have not been rotated when we paid for the service, and on a lesser note, its about 50/50 on getting the car washed when requested. I will say, however that they seldom suggest service that is not needed and I have come to trust in their recommendations.

I never had such a smooth and simple experience like this at a dealership. Straight shooters here, no bs. I felt like i got an amazing deal on my 2022 odyssey touring compared to the other dealerships i visited in the area. Alberto was awesome and took care of me from start to finish, he explained everything and worked to get me where i wanted to be. My parents were with me and they decided to trade in their sentra and get a new crv because i got such an awesome deal. So 2 birds one stone. Also tony in finance was great. No issues where the price starts to change once you sit down. I was told a price and there was no funny buisiness. All in all great people. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a honda. We are all completely satisfied. Keep up the good work there and see you guys on the next one.

The people on the Sales team are excellent. The stars above are for them. My only complaint was how the Finance guy Tony raised his voice when I declined to buy their overpriced extended warranty. His reason was ONLY THE ENGINE IS MADE BY HONDA!!! EVERYTHING ELSE IS MADE BY OTHER COMPANIES!!! Ill keep this in mind the next time I buy another car. If you really want an extended warranty, buy one through your credit union. Youll save thousands.

I bought a 2016 Ford Edge from Ms. Ali on Saturday. We originally went to look at a Ford Escape at Coggin Ford. It was sold at 9 am so we asked the salesman to show us some other vehicles. He showed us a couple we didnt care for. He stated that was all he had. We then got some breakfast and decided to stop in at Coggin Honda . Ms. Ali greeted us very quickly and helped us to look for a Ford escape. She had one and the numbers were good but we just didnt like the color. She then showed us all the other comparable cars on her lot but we just didnt care for them. She then went inside looked online at the other Coggin stores and found our Ford Edge at Nissan. It was more than we wanted to pay a month but her manager stepped in worked his magic with their financing and got us a great deal at a payment we were happy with. I used to work at Coggin Honda back in the late 1990s with their finance manager Kelly Mabrey. Ms. Ali reminded me of Kelly and I when we would run out the door to get to a customer. Ms. Ali was determined to sell a car that day and we were determined to buy the car we wanted. She was more than helpful and made it happened. Their customer service skills helped me get through it and now im driving in my new Honda Pilot that my whole family enjoys thanks to them. These guys worked tirelessly around me and helped me get into the new car that day. Now im going to tell all my friends and family to go here when they need a new car, my visit and personal experience to this place was heart warming and welcoming type of enviroment i know its a dealership but the staff tho is on another level, felt like i was the only one there. The staff is there and in place for all your needs and they will help you and take care of you the same day, because they know we all got bussy family lives. If you dont believe me, see it for urself, pay them a visit if your in the market for new car and get one of them to assist you, tell them Merso sent u and who knows maybe i even get referal for you heheh jk.

Very safety conscious. Clean. Honestly this was the best car buying experience of our life. Mr. Diaz was able to get us into exactly what we asked. Mindful of our budget. Walked in at 3pm and by 530ish we were done. Keys in hand. At the exact number we wanted. Highly recommend to go there for your new car.

I communicated with a representative in regard to a vehicle I was interested in purchasing this morning - before the sales department even opened up. She ensured me the car was available at the dealership to test drive and purchase. I left work early just to be told the car was sold! I communicated more than once today with the dealership to ensure the vehicle was available. What made matters worst - she began to show me vehicles I was not interested in purchasing. One vehicle even had a family inside of the car! Highly disappointed and a waste of time considering I was prepared to purchase the car today. I would of appreciated honesty over a sale on something I would never drive.

Originally, I wasnt going to leave a review since it was 2020, but even though I told my friend not to buy a car from this Honda dealership, she didnt listen to me. So, Im here to warn everyone from buying from this dealership.When I was looking at buying a car during the pandemic, people there dont take you seriously, as in trying to buy a car. ESPECIALLY IF YOURE A WOMAN. Then, I wanted to test drive a car, and immediately one of the loan bankers came by and tried to push me to buy it. Did they ask me what color I wanted? No. Did they talk to me whether or not I wanted to trade-in? No. Did she get loud at me until I gave in? I didnt give in, but did you need to about at a customer? Thats unacceptable behavior.When I said I wasnt going to buy it, she told the dealer to just show me a random car that was lower cost. My concern wasnt with the price because I can afford it. Its your attitude to your customers and how pushy you are. How dare you be so disrespectful to your customers. Youre selling a product. Its obvious you dont want to.My friend who didnt listen to me went to buy her car a couple weeks ago here. I told her it was a TERRIBLE IDEA, but she insisted she did t want to drive too far. Anyway, within the first week, a new car by the way, it broke. Let me reiterate. She NEW CAR BROKE. She took it back to the dealership to get it serviced, and they refused to fix the car. Its less than a month in and theyre refusing to order parts or its on back order. Then they refused to rent a car for her to even get around, and she could have to pay for it? Really? This is how you treat your customers? If anything. I want to make sure no one buys from this dealership again. Its absolutely unacceptable to be selling broken down cars as new, not taking responsibility, and treating customers like TRASH. DO NOT COME HERE.

Best car purchase experience I have ever had!! Faisal is awesome to work with and made the whole process stress-free. He explained all my options and walked me through all the new 2021 Passport trims. Cannot thank him enough for all his help and will definitely be coming back to see him for my next car purchase and recommending him to all my family and friends.

If we could give these guys 10 stars we would!! Our van broke down on a Sunday morning 1,000 miles from home at the beginning of our trip back. Brendan W., Kenny P. and the rest of the guys at Coggin were extremely friendly and helpful. They did everything they could to get us safely back on the road again, including dropping us off and picking us up again for lunch when the kids got hungry. Very friendly crew!!

As a first time buyer with no credit, I went in nervous, but the staff was kind and quick. Once again Honda has outdid itself! This was my second time coming back and purchasing a car from Roger! He was awesome! The whole staff is very friendly and accommodating, not pushy and will work with you! I will Keep coming back!

Never bought a car here, found they didnt have competitive enough prices. My issue is with their service which is SLOW. Last two times I have been here with an appointment it took 20+ minutes just to start the check in process. Same story, the service times have taken double the amount of time quoted. They did make a fairly significant mistake on a part I ordered and the parts manager, without me asking, bent over backwards to make it right which is why I am giving them 2 vs 1 star.
