My family and I traveled from Wilmington to try a similar ice cream shop that reminded us of home in Brooklyn NY. I must say the presentation of the shakes were so amazing. The ice cream taste amazing. The shop is very clean and sanitized. Owner is super nice and professional. I definitely recommend coming here. We’ll definitely be back.

I must have come at the perfect time - Sunday around 7pm - because there were two groups of people who were finishing up and it was practically just me in the store. Although they had run out of some flavors, they had exactly what I wanted, the Butter Cup shake. It was delicious and it was prepared quickly. Great spot, Ill definitely be back!

One of the things currently not available that Im desperate to try are the Freak Shakes. Seriously, I dont care if those things are even >2000 calories, I must try one or my life will not be complete.I must make note for those of you who arent aware, but this place serves sugar free ice creams made with Stevia, which that alone makes this place amazing in my book. (The raspberry cheesecake is amazing in every way. I really want to try the coffee fudge...)The dairy free ice cream is made with coconut milk, it is so wonderfully refreshing and delicious. (I had the Peanut butter Fudge Supreme, and it was heavenly.)Id love to see a couple more options for the sugar free and dairy free, but what Ive tried so far has been amazing and Im happy with just having the options.I think the one main thing I was sad wasnt available was malts. I absolutely adore malted milk, and looks hard for places with it. Being able to do a sugar or dairy free shake with malt would make me never want to go anywhere else.Also the only thing we didnt devour before I remembered to take a photo was a pint of the Cherry Oblivion. Which may be the flavor for you if you like black cherries, it is amazing and completely loaded with Cherries. I personally dont even like Cherrys very much, but this has changed my opinion.Sorry if the photo doesnt do it justice!

It is obvious he wants his customers to be happy, however When I visited a couple of days ago - Floors, counter tops, the topping bar and even view to back was a mess. The staff at YoBre’z in Jacksonville is phenomenal! Every time I go in, I find a new flavor to try or a new creation to enjoy. I have had a few of the famed FreakShakes, plus countless scoops of ice cream. The topping options are yummy and diverse. The staff is always helpful and able to offer advice on what to order. If when I visit during peak hours, I still find their atmosphere to be lively and full of cheer. If you are looking for a great ice cream shop in Jacksonville, I would recommend this option. Stacy and her team will make you feel like family!

Would have LOVED to try this place!We drove in to Jacksonville from Surf City to run some errands and this was a specific stop on our list. We arrived a little after 2pm and the shop was closed. Google hours state 12pm-9pm. Hours arent posted on the building and no sign or notice was posted to let people know they were closed.We waited for a bit to see if anyone would show, but unfortunately had to leave empty-handed.

Initially thought it would be tough to get in, but the gentleman quickly got us seated and acclimated to the surprisingly diverse menu. He took the order of all 6 of us without skipping a beat, and came back in about 15 minutes with picture-perfect desserts. It was nothing short of amazing.

My family and I were so excited to finally be able to come in and try the Freak Shakes tonight. When we got there they were pretty busy and it seemed like there was only two people working. After a few minutes of standing and waiting to be sat, we were greeted and sat at a table and was told someone would be right with us. We waited about twenty minutes. Then a couple came in and was seated next to us. After about 5 more minutes the woman taking orders came to their table and completely forgot about us. I understand they were busy but we were completely ignored and we decided to just leave. We went to Dairy Queen instead and thoroughly enjoyed our blizzards and was happy we didn’t spend an arm and a leg at this establishment. We were all very disappointed because we have been excited about this place. We will not be back.

First last and only review ever. Aside from the money that I spent on milkshakes, and my husband and I came in at 845 so thats probably our fault. They were melted by the time we got them. Not their fault as they were closing and had already put up a bunch of stuff and they were doing the best the could with the staff they had. Definitely wont come back, and wouldnt recommend at all. Place was super cute had an amazing atmosphere. But I would rather go to checkers and get a vanilla milkshake.

We ordered berry berry cheesecake, cookie dough freaky shake, and blonde brownie. The youngest ordered scoops of cookies n creme. Everyone loved their ice cream. Very creative, unique, and delicious.

The milkshakes are really good! Came here twice and both times waited a little but the milkshakes were well worth it! Make sure when you go you dont just sit down it makes things much harder with all the people visiting. There are also 1 or 2 people working at most so give em a break

I definitely enjoyed my Freak Shake! We got the Brownie freak shake and a Coffee freak shake. The Brownie shake comes topped with fresh brownie and whipped cream. The coffee shake comes topped with a fresh donut and whipped cream. The donut and brownie were so soft that it melts in your mouth especially with how warm it came. I definitely recommend and want to try all their other food items. The freshness of their toppings make it perfect!

If you don’t want to be discriminated against STAY AWAY from this place!!! My husband and I had never been to this place before. We went in to check it out and order dessert. We walked in and was immediately stopped, saying I’m going to have to set you down, NO ONE is allowed in the bar area. A very nice lady and her children of another race walked in, placed an order and walked right up to the bar. Not a word was said to her, she was the same race as the owner who had just stopped us!!! Screw him and that place!!! I will gladly spend my money ELSEWHERE!!! Beware of the discrimination!!! ALL LIVES MATTER!!!

Best service around! It’s a small business but they make up for it in both hospitality and service; no matter the time of day. Me and my wife have been coming to Yobrez for the past 5 months and it has been nothing less than exceptional. The best Ice cream we have found in Jacksonville. I don’t even ask the kids if they want ice cream, I ask do you want Yo’Brez. The environment is always positive, even during this pandemic. The owner is very personable and makes you feel welcomed. He even rolled out the red carpet and put on a graduation of my dreams for my Kindergarten class outside on the patio.

Place order ahead of time. Wear a mask if you go in, still yummy. Small parties can happen here.

Ordered the Superman flavor as a surprise delivery to a local friend. Was disappointed to hear it is not authentic superman flavoring, but instead just vanilla with pretty colors. True superman ice cream is a combination of vanilla, blue moon, and cherry/lemon/red pop so it didnt hit the mark for the midwest transplant it was delivered to.

My husband and I were introduced to this true gem of Jacksonville from one of our best friends during the pandemic. Well, we quickly discovered that we were missing out on this incredible establishment that was almost in walking distance of our house. Every time my husband and I frequent this place (and trust me, it is VERY frequent) we are treated like family. Breon even got used to us pulling up and seeing his favorite interracial couple with their dog ready for ice cream! He always greets us with a big smile and he is always sweet to us, especially our pup, Orion! This was the first place we brought our parents that were visiting and they were so impressed with the professionalism and hospitality that was exhibited by Breon. We cant recommend this place enough and it will be the #1 place we will miss the most when we have to move! We love YoBrez!!!

This place smells great! They have a cute little shop in there selling tea and body care goods and baby clothes. They have 175 flavors (I might be off in the number, but its like that) so dont let the case fool you, just ask and they can go get it from the back. Nice little outdoor seating area. Ill be back for sure.

As you stated, this was your first time visiting this establishment...I’m there every week, I told your “nice husband” that when he asked me my opinion of the establishment! I already knew what I needed to add on to my previous paid order. I only walked in the bar area to pay for my addition, that is all. I’m sorry you feel the need to try to bash and pull the race card on this young man, but his reviews and professionalism speaks for itself. And quite frankly, it’s very apparent that this was your first time visiting this establishment and actually interacting with him for you to make those accusations!
