A nice store for outdoor furniture good selection and knowledgeable staff. Looking for furniture for our lanai yet to be done.

I’ve waited years to finally buy quality, back porch seating. Considering the current circumstances, I thought it made more sense to buy from a local store rather than a big box chain. We need to support small local business like never before. Right? At least I thought so.Immediately upon entering today, I was stopped by Mr Soy-Boy for not wearing a mask. First off this is FL. Not communist China. Secondly, if I’m going to drop a few thousand dollars and be a customer for life that will continue to refer people, why would I do so in a mask?!If the views of the owner are the same. Fine, no problem. I know where NOT to shop. Otherwise, please educate Mr Get-A-Life that he’s hindering your bottom line w his asinine beliefs.

Victoria is amazing and has detective level problem solving skills. I called in with a unique problem that has gone on for 3 months. In 14 minutes on the phone she was able to diagnose the problem by looping in the factory and a co-worker and texting pictures back and forth, then she suggested a cost effective solution I hadnt thought of. She really knows her stuff and took the time to help me out. Thank you Victoria!

Im not from Jacksonville but visited Florida Backyard to look for some patio chairs with my son. We were assisted by Victoria Wirtz who was very knowledgeable and professional. Because of things beyond their control their inventory is down but Victorias personality convinced us to do business with them. This is a great place for patio furniture. When you arrive, you are greeted by Victoria. She is very knowledgeable and answered every question I had. Their furniture is powder coated aluminum structure-not steel. No rust! They have over 400 fabric choices-simply mind boggling. Great selection.

I LOVE Florida Backyard!! They have the best and most comfortable outdoor furniture I have ever seen (and sat on)! :) Victoria, the store manager, was invaluable!! I had no idea what I wanted so we brought in a layout of our pool/patio area. Victoria showed me the best use of space and layout for the furniture, as well as, helped me pick out all of the fabrics (its great that shes also an interior designer). I appreciated it all so much and cant thank her enough!! We look forward to many wonderful years using our beautiful Ebel furniture and also adding to our collection in the future! Thanks so much!!

Victoria was very helpful from the first time we walked into the store. She took the time out to work with us to choose the best fabric and decide on the color scheme for our backyard. I usually order items online but Victoria made our experience exceptional. She also is willing to work with us on the delivery date because we are in the process of getting a pool installed. Great customer service and great products.

***UPDATE 10-14-20: Was contacted by FBY after my review asking for someone to contact me after COVID. They ask for photos of the cracks and fading and then replaced my chairs without hesitation. I had new chairs delivered in about 90 days. Excellent warranty support and no hassle at all. Will definitely buy everything from here in the future with that kind of warranty and customer service.***Purchased five polywood Adirondack chairs three years ago and love them. Recently noticed cracks developing under several of the chair’s armrests. Hoping for a replacement or fix after quarantine.

I purchased cushions for our lanai furniture, which were individually made.They were beautiful but unfortunately 2 too wide. Victoria had new ones made and allowed us to use the other ones for a party. They are now perfectly fitted and beautiful. Very pleasant, professional and A+ in customer service. I purchased a patio dining set and 7 stools at Florida Backyard on Philips Hwy. Victoria, the store manager was very helpful and knowledgeable. We were hosting a large party in a week and needed the furniture ASAP. Victoria did everything possible to accommodate. When she couldnt secure the pieces before our party date, she loaned us patio furniture! You just dont come across outstanding customer service like this very often. Very helpful folks that are not pushy and really there to help. While the furniture is a little bit more expensive then what you can order online the quality far exceeds those of other manufacturers. We have been buying from Florida backyard for over 10 years in the first items look as good as the items we just bought. Couldnt be happier with the product and the people. No one waited on us. A woman was on the phone with a Customer, and totally ignored us. We were very well dressed; which should not matter! My husband loves going shopping looking poverty stricken, the more expensive something is, the worse he looks! She was rude! We left without looking!
