They had what I needed. Decently priced. The service is friendly and welcoming. But, they can be a bit on the slow side when cashing customers out.

I only shop at Advance when necessity demands. Online pricing is a little bit competitive, but the online promo coupon for this purchase FEB21 didnt work. When my wife picked up the purchased halogen headlights from the Jamestown store tonight the cashier didnt include a black glove nor ask if she wanted one. $58 headlights is not something that someone should take a chance on. No one offered to change the headlights, which should have been an included service. No employee would have needed to enter the vehicle to make this happen. My wife drove home 12 miles in the dark with a blown headlight.I keep trying to give Advance a chance to win me over again, but all locations it the same poor customer service. Unless I have to use a gift to use a gift card again, I will try to avoid Advance.

These guys are awesome they take real good care of you once Im ready to bring my battery in there are nice enough to give me a ride back to my car so I didnt have to carry it

By not checking my check engine light the 2nd st, Jamestown NY location lost out on a $500 sale!! All because if COVID...if you wear a mask...which by the way the female with long reddish hair was not and refused to check it Due to COVID LOST OUT! I will never shop an Advanced Auto parts Store ever again.

Typical AAP store...the store carries a little bit of everything that commonly goes on a car. If its not on the shelf they can order it. The staff is pleasant without being condescending. Prices are atypical, similar to Wal-Mart.

Customer service is great! Stopped in looking for a fuse for my brake lights. They came out to my car helped me check the fuses and were super helpful.

I went into this location for the loan a tool program. The employee after telling me the tool was in bad shape, went to the back to get it. After showing it to me, he proceeded to inform me that it was beat up because people had hit it at the wrong angle and showed me the right angle. Its a tool that does not require hitting, but proper technique to use. Then tried to charge an outrageous deposit for the tool. I know he couldnt control that, but dont put tools out that could cause damage or injury. Train your employees, or tell them not to give advice if they dont know. Also, persons of one ethnic background should not receive preferred service over another. I will from now on drive the extra 5 minutes to auto zone. Much friendlier and more knowledgeable. Better pricing too.

It seems that every time I go here and need a part they have to order it and for the last part I got it took 3 try to get it right they ordered me a part that was not even for my car. I will start going to Auto zone I do not recommend this store at all if you want it done right go to Auto zone car quest somewhere other than here.

The staff are always helpful and friendly, and they often have things that no one else in town has. They also have OE equivalent fluids and oils, so you dont always have to go to the dealer for genuine fluids, which can be a pain. They sell quality carquest parts, and they stand behind their parts with their warranty. They always take care of us.

They sold me the wrong part for 65 bucks and when I tryed to return it unused they would not return it they basicly robbed me so from now on I go to auto zone theyre a little bit more honest. I will drive the extra miles for better service and honesty.

THIS IS NOT A WOMAN FRIENDLY LOCATION, AT LEAST IF YOU ARE A LADY. Went there for brake pads last evening. Two employees. Two lines at the counter, I was the only woman in line. While waiting in line, one of the two sales people kept using the F word, in casual conversation when talking to a customer who was also using the F word. As it turns out they knew each other so the worker must have thought it was ok. I think it was very inappropriate to be using that language at work in front of customers.I was in the the other line which was not moving because that sales person decided he wanted to be an auto mechanic instead of working behind the counter. He left the store and all the customers in his line to go out to help a guy with his car. I know they do this sometimes but are usually out and right back in 5 min, but he left me standing there for over 20 min. He came back in the store 3 times (saw me still standing there, but kept going back out to that same car. Every one finally got out of his line and into the back of the line of the one employee who likes the F word. He waited on all the guys first even though he knew I had been waiting for a while. No once did he even look at me. It was as if I was not even in the store. One gentleman finally said to me, boy you have been waiting here a long time and offered to let me get ahead of him. The sales person was very impersonal and never once apologized for my long wait.I have been to this location several times and the service has always been bad. I keep going back because it is close to my house but next time I will consider a further drive to Auto Zone.

They always position somebody near the register so it looks like they are open but theyre really just playing on their phone, talking, etc.

Always like to order online then go pick it up, once you become a regular you get better service.

I told them for over a year and a 1/2 my battery was bad and I wanted to have my warranty they refused and said it just needed charged. I sent my husband in one time and my battery Warranty was a given. Never again will I buy a battery from here.
