From start (ordering) to finish (installation) Simmons Fence has been outstanding to work with. Throughout the ordering and waiting for the product, they have kept us informed about manufacturing delays and probable installation dates. The installation team were very professional, answered every question and did an excellent job. We would like to add that the whole team from owners, office worker, to installers were veryfriendly. We must add a thumbs up to their two dogs at their location. They added a welcoming touch and smiles to our faces.

This is the second fence we have purchase from Simmons; 20 years ago they installed a beautiful cedar fence for our new home. They built the cedar fence by hand, nailing each picket in place individually. The quality and workmanship helped that fence last as long as it did. That workmanship and professionalism is still prevalent today. Our two installers, Andrew and Justin, were polite, timely and willing to answer all of our questions. After 20 years we have an established lawn and landscaping - Andrew and Justin did a great job of avoiding plants and preserving the lawn. They were meticulous about measuring, installing and leveling the fence. All in all they did a great job and we are looking forward to many years of enjoying our beautiful new vinyl fence.

Andrew and Justin from Simmons Fence were great to work with! They showed up ready to get the job done even though it was probably one of the hottest days of the summer and they had to hand dig several holes. Andrew & Justin did great work installing our vinyl fence! I thought it would take at least half the week, but it only took a day (plus a few hrs) to complete. Awesome working with Sue and Dennis at Simmons Fence. We moved to Evansville and 1 day after being there we had a fence up for the dogs. Their 2 man crew was awesome as well. Walked property with me asked questions settled possible issues before starting and very friendly with my dogs and kids as they worked. Could not have asked for a better company to get a fence.

Everyone was so friendly and helpful for the entire process. I couldn’t make it in during business hours & they stayed late so I could make it in to sign paper work & make a payment. They said about 4-6 weeks for installation and made it out on week 3, and had the entire fence finished and perfect before I even got home from work. They made the whole process easy, & super stress free.

Dennis and Sue are great personable people. They were great with my emails and response and answered any questions I had. The crew that came to do my fence was a 2-man crew and I thought this was gonna take forever. Andrew and his companion did 202 feet in 2 days. Even after coming across a lot of rock under the soil in my yard. Andrew came across some complications and we walked through it and came up with a great result. Complications were neither his fault or mine but the utility lines branching everywhere and it made it difficult to put posts in on one side. I couldnt be happier with the end result.

Andrew and Justin of Simmons Fence arrived on time and finished my job in just 4 hours. That included having to hand dig post hole locations because of mis-marked underground cable locations by the cable locator. They were polite, professional and cleaned up when they were done. Couldnt ask for anything more.

Great fences, but due to covid and storms they are backed out on orders 3-6 mo.. hopefully we can wait that long, Im not sure.(Edit 5/12) Changed stars due to lack of communication. We had requested a quote on another fence as well at the same time, over 2mo later and still no reply back. Very unprofessional. Apparently we didnt have the right look for them to call us back (my back was injured and could only wear sweatpants, too cold for a dress).Also quotes are not done in front of the customer, they are taken into another room then come back with an approximate estimate.

After waiting 3 weeks for appointment the guy called me at 10:45 am about meeting him earlier than the 11:30 am scheduled appointment time. I said I could not and suggested he go alone. He said he needed me there to measure. He said he could meet me later because he was in Beloit all day. We agreed between 3 and 5pm. I drove all the way from Chicago and from South Beloit while pulled over texted him at 4:52 pm and asked if he could still meet me soon? He said he could meet me “now”. I said give me 15 minutes. When I got there I saw his text from 4:59 pm (7 minutes after I texted) with the following:“Just went by your place it’s bad accessibility. I’m not interested in project sorry. Try Rock County Fence.”So Try ROCK COUNTY FENCE or some other fence company. If they cannot drive 180 feet down a 15 feet wide easement off a 4 lane highway to access 1.25 acres, I don’t think anything is possible for them. Also they said they had 6 month wait for privacy and vinyl fence and do not do wood fences. I hope this review helps you the reader save a lot of time and aggravation with these unprofessional and rude incompetent people.When I replied “a—hole I just drove from Chicago” he texted “in 15 minutes that’s impossible “ assuming I texted at 4:52pm from Chicago when he told me earlier at 10:45am to meet him there between 3 and 5pm. Red flags - if they are that rude and inconsiderate and unreasonable and unprofessional and stupid, do you trust their estimate or integrity with quality or pricing? I would not bother with this company and suggest you take their guy’s advice - TRY ROCK COUNTY FENCE. (Disclaimer: I have not tried Rock County Fence.).Actually, the first guy from first estimate did not need to measure but could get the perimeter off the Rock county website from the lot lines and later have me fill in the area I wanted fenced. But not these geniuses at Simmons! This a—hole needed me to be there so he could drive by and send that simple text. I should Sue these clowns for consumer fraud and aggravation and inconvenience and loss of time and money.

This is a wonderful company and very easy to work with. I love my new fence, as do my two dogs. The two young men that put up my fence were very professional and stayed on task. They were racing a storm that was to hit in the afternoon. They finished just in time. I would definitely recommend Simmons Fence.

The company is run by a bunch of great folks and it shows in their excellent service and continued reliability. Had our fence replaced a couple years back and on the rare occasion that we have any issue, the people at Simmons go above and beyond to take care of it. Rock County could use more companies with the same strong work ethic and attention to customer service. If you need any fencing, I absolutely recommend them.

We love our fence, it is beautiful, weve never had an aluminum fence before, but we are really very satisfied with the quality and look of it. The Simmons folks were wonderful to work with, very responsive to our needs and came up with some very smart recommendations for our somewhat tricky location! All around great experience with Simmons Fence and this is our third time working with them. Recently our old wooden fence enclosing the entire backyard needed replacing. They took down the wood, hauled it away and replaced it with white vinyl fence. The crew was amazing. I am a gardener and have perennial beds around the perimeter of the fence line. They did a lot of the work by hand so they wouldnt damage my plants! I am very grateful and we couldnt be happier with our new fence. Meticulous workmanship and clean up. Highly recommend!

My fence was installed a few years ago. This year it has been hit by a tree twice. Both times the damage was minimal. Both times Simmons fence has been terrific with the repair. You maybe able to find a less expensive fence. However, you will get what you pay for with quality and customer service. Simmons will be here in a few years to stand behind their product because they have quality that they believe in.

Everyone at Simmons Fence were so helpful in picking out the right fence for our needs. The guys that installed the fence were so good, they were here when they said they would be and all 3 of them worked so well together. We love the fence. The neighbor does too. I want to praise the Simmons fence of Janesville for the wonderful repair job they did on my vinyl fence. A panel was blown out last winter. I called them and they came and repair it so well that I can’t recognize which panel was repaired. It looks wonderful. GREAT JOB DENNIS

Today after work I got a flat and had to pull into Simmons fence I was trying to change my tire on my own when the owner Dennis came out and offered me help he said he had some young guys that could come take care of my tire he called Aiden. Dennis and aiden change my tire put air in my doughnut put my doughnut on and put my bad tire in my trunk and asked for nothing in return today I saw true acts of kindness from some truly amazing people I can’t begin to express how thankful I am that the both of you were there to help me I would recommend Simmons and fence just due to the absolute kindness of the owner and his employees thank you truly from the bottom of my heart.
