This is not a review about the local (Janesville, WI) Lincare as all experiences Ive had with them have been great. The company in general is bad news. Extremely overpriced equipment, incredibly hard to get any good help, they do not seem to care about customers whatsoever and forget trying to talk to a manager as the higher up you go, the less they seem to care. Buy your replacement parts anywhere else.Local (Janesville, WI) Lincare staff, thank you for always being helpful. I wish all of Lincare could be as good as youve been to me.

This review encompasses two different medical equipment situations. First one with the bipap: Lincare provided incorrect hoses and connectors. When we were doing the swap as instructed (hygiene), the parts did not work. Our infant was unable to receive treatment until the correct parts were provided. There is no emergency response for this company. They also did not seem to care about the issue when we able to speak to someone. Second issue: CPAP. After going through the hurdles of multiple visits with the sleep clinic and receiving approval from insurance for the CPAP, Lincare failed to respond to the equipment request for many months. Then, they initially issued the CPAP, but later called demanding the return of the equipment because it had been too long since a visit. Equipment was returned and we went elsewhere. The office in Janesville, WI was combative during the process. They are incompetent and an example of the waste that occurs when a company thinks they can do whatever they want.

My experience during my consultation was very positive. Everyone I spoke with on the phone and in person was very nice. Not sure why there are so many reviews regarding their customer service. The reason I am only giving 3 stars is because I was misled at my appointment. I was told Insurance covers your equipment as she continued to toss filters and tubes in my bag and explained how insurance covers certain things every month or few months. I wish she wouldve also added You will be charged for everything until youve fulfilled your deductible and then after that you will be responsible for any coinsurance.DO NOT make the mistake and think these items are fully covered (free) because you will get a bill.Before going to your appointment and going home with a bag full of goodies--be sure to speak to your insurance company to find out just how much of the supplies they are going to cover. I accepted everything she handed me and didnt price out any of the supplies. You will be charged a monthly rental fee for your machine as well as the one time initial charge for the mask, filter, etc.Also--Lincare has called me about two dozen times to order new supplies. Um no. I am paying for the initial supplies and will not be purchasing new until these fall apart.

Would give them zero stars if possible. Very difficult to work with. Require everything on their own internal forms rather than the standard forms from the physicians office. Requires records to be faxed several times before they receive them. Would recommend using other providers if you can.

My husband and I have been using Lincare in Janesville for a couple of years now. The staff there is friendly and willing to listen, and tries to problem solve for issues we have had. I am uncertain as to the training techs get for repair; however, I have always been met with a willingness to seek answers. Only four stars because I feel that there is more knowledge out there that would be helpful to have... I do a lot of my own research.

Terrible place to do business with. Tricked my husband into signing the recurring payments form when he clearly said NO RECURRING PAYMENT. They collected our deductible at the time of picking up the machine, have yet to get our deductible back as another provider had the deductible. This is insurance fraud and will be reported. I dont know why United Healthcare works with them. I would have given zero stars.

I dont recommend Lincare in Janesville. They tricked me when completing paperwork and gained access to automatic payment from my bank acct. Dont return phone calls. Send nasty letters to you that are not personable. Non-cooperative. Claimed they never got my doctors orders; several times! Kept blaming my docs office. Did my testing in Oct. Got my unit in Feb. Im returning the unit!

Had order faxed from Doc in November. Waited 2 weeks for call before calling them. Called number & got some store down south that had to transfer me to local store. Was put off & told to wait longer for someone to call me for appointment, yet didnt care to ask my name. Its now March & still no call. Thankfully I had a backup mask or wouldnt be sleeping at night. Really scary to know how unimportant peoples lives are to a place thats supposed to be there to help. Glad Im not an oxygen patient needing oxygen to live! I feel sorry for those who are in life or death medical situations! Epic fail Lincare!!!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. This company is rude and unprofessional. I had to call them over a month to see what the heck was going on w my equipment as a new customer. They had my information the entire time as they gave me the run around. I had to call my sleep Dr. to verify that these clowns hadn’t a clue of what they’re are doing, or they just don’t care. I cancelled the appointment upon reading the reviews online of 1 out of 5 stars. Their hours are posted online, but yet you call for a half hour to get a rude answering service that hangs up on you if you question them about the lack of availability to get ahold of the staff. Unity point in Madison is who I switched too as they are reliable, professional, and easier to work with. RUN FROM LINCARE AS FAST AS YOU CAN. These businesses that conduct business in this manner make this world the type of place it is today. They have no business being in insurance related field!!

I was going to get my CPAP here a couple of days past and we head nothing so my mom called and they said they 3-4 weeks out and my mom said said that’s unacceptable and the person at the desk said you can go somewhere else and hung up on my mom

Was supposed to get a call back in two weeks. If I wouldnt have called them about a month from my initial appointment I dont think they would have got ahold of me at all. Terrible customer service.
