I was new to Jefferson City. I went online and found out that PCA Guns had fourfold more reviews than any others. That makes a lot of difference because probably only 5 to 10 percent of people will take the time to write a review.Joe, the owner, is a former Mastersaegeant in the US army and also was a police officer. Joe knows his stuff! He is more than helpful, using his great experiences and knowledge to not only teach but to justify why he doesnt carry cheap or subpar merchandise.I found he wont sell you something you dont need. He ready to teach you and give you exceptional advice. He is my gun dealer from now until he quits are I am and gone! I wont go anywhere else. Im from Pennsylvania, but spent December in Missouri and Iowa for work. I expected Id walk in, look around and leave since I wasnt really in need of anything. But spoke to the owner/ manager and he knew his stuff. They had a nice Kimber collection which I dont see often, and I travel all over the US.I have a Kimber Pro Crimson II .45 and it was always to bulky for me with the generic 1911 IWB cases... so I would mount it in my car and keep my Ruger LCP in my pocket as my backup defense.He recommended the Lenwood Kydex holster..It fit perfect. Its been a month and a half and ive been kidney carrying IWB ever since. Picked up a box of ammo and an extra magazine. I will definitely visit again when Im in town. Thanks!

I felt very comfortable as a woman walking into a traditionally masculine atmosphere. As soon as I stepped in the door Joe made me feel invited. As a novice to guns I asked numerous questions, but Joe was excited to share his immense knowledge with me. His primary concern was my safety for every situation I encountered. I looked at 3 other shops to compare price/quality but had to come back to PCA Guns for the friendly customer service, best price, and expertise from the staff. Bought an ammo can of .556 and was told it was green tip which I assumed was ballistic tip rounds. Find out afterwards the tips were just painted green and it was regular .556 rounds. Dont appreciate being misled

Where to start...the guys at PCA were absolutely awesome to work with! I had gone into the store 3 times in one week asking Mark and Dustin a ton of questions trying to narrow down which rifle I wanted to purchase. They were extremely knowledgeable and patient and I never once felt pressured or rushed for the sale. I quickly felt comfortable asking any and all questions about the different types and specs on various rifles, even if the questions were common sense to the average gun enthusiast. I have bought numerous firearms from the only other gun shop in town and Jimmy, manager of PCA, not only matched the competitions price...he beat the price! After making my first purchase there, I know without a doubt they will be my go-to store. It was a great buying experience!

Bought a Taurus revolver does not work well brought it back in started a conversation with the guy behind the counter, another man comes running out and says we dont stand behind our used guns we are not doing anything for you. You can just send it back to Taurus. Just leave us alone. This was my fourth purchase here every thing else was a new gun

Great shop the stores employees or at least the one i believe he said his name was Justin (hate when im wrong, so hope thats accurate) he answered every question i had and was patient even after getting multiple customers. He asked if he could help another person while i was still looking which didnt bother me. He came right back afterwards. Good little shop, reasonable prices. Anyone interested should check it out.
