I had a great experience here. Drove two hours from St. Louis area because they had the exact model I wanted, and allowed you to finance through your own bank. All the Hyundai dealerships in St. Louis were trying to force you to finance through them - ridiculous.Nathan Hays, my salesperson, couldn’t have made it simpler. I asked for a final price quote for my bank, and the price quoted is what I paid. He was very responsive to any questions or requests on the phone. Whole process was very smooth.They stayed open past close so we could get the vehicle. Never felt sketchy, everything was explained clearly. Dealing with other places had been a headache, but the service here was great. Thank you guys for helping me get the vehicle I wanted!
I bought my car at Jefferson City Hyundai, from JJ Waterman who has treated me very well on my last 2 car purchases. He told me that the service department was top notch and I would be happy with their work. I havent had any issues with my car but it has required maintenance. They worked with me to get an appointment for my car when they were unusually busy. They have treated me very respectfully and I dont hate going there like many other dealers service departments. I would have my friends go there for service just because they are courteous and respectful. I am a fan.

If you are looking for a vehicle, this is NOT the place you should go. This is one of the most dishonest places Ive been to in a while. Drove up to look at a vehicle. After test drive, we brought to the attention of the salesman the issues we had with it. He offered to have all the things fixed. We accepted the offer at asking. We had our own financing and all we needed was a copy of the title to seal the deal. They asked for a couple of days to get the things fixed and get the documentation they needed. A week went by. Just kept getting the same story. Notice the vehicle price was raised online, assumably to cover the cost of the things we addressed. They told us they couldnt hold it any longer, even after we put a money down to hold the vehicle while they get the things they need.They quit communicating with us and looks like sold the vehicle out from underneath us. Mike, the sales manager, kept insisting that we go with their financing so we could bypass getting a copy of the title to our lender. Glad they screwed us over, because we found the same vehicle, better condition, better price.

I write this review with a sense of relief and a renewed faith in the auto sales industry. Jefferson Hyundai not only demonstrated true understanding, they listened, and they acted. Every call was returned expeditiously and with information. Sean, my salesman was extremely kind, knowledgeable, and gracious throughout the entire process. I do not reside in The Jefferson City Area and was looking for a dealership I can call home. I am almost 2 hours away and they were more than willing to work with the distance and deliver the vehicle I purchased. I had been looking for a very specific vehicle and they happened to have one left in stock. I called on a Saturday (weekend of the 4th of July) and Sean worked fervently to explain thoroughly on every aspect of the vehicle. He sent me all the information needed to make an informed and solid decision. He sent me pictures of the Car from multiple angles and made sure that I knew exactly how the process would ensue with dates and times that worked best for me and not them. That made the difference. They didnt make it about them. They made the entire experience about me, the actual consumer purchasing the vehicle. I was treated with the upmost respect. James, the Finance Manger was so relatable and kind. He was thorough and took real time to explain everything to me and answer all my questions in regards to protecting my investment. I did not feel rushed at all. It was the first time I didnt feel as if I were a chicken waiting to be meet my fate in a slaughterhouse. I didnt feel pressured to do anything. Not only did they deliver the car, they delivered it on a trailer which to me was extremely professional by not driving it to me and adding mileage to. my car. I took notice of that immediately. If you are in the market to buy or sell a car give them a call. They will work with you and for you. I have never had such a great experience with a dealership here in the midwest. I would refer anyone who may not be particularly pleased with the service they receive within the vicinity of their area. Place is a wreck! Sales guy showed us two Carfaxes, neither of which was for the one we were purchasing. General manager agreed to higher trade in that didnt get communicated to the finance guy and caused a do-over. Now I notice they put down a higher mileage on the date of sale. I like the car but wont be messing with these guys again.
For a pleasant experience, go see these guys where you have a name not just a number. There was no pressure and they know their stuff. And also, we had a lot of laughs.

Im only giving 4 stars because Ive 2 cars from them in the last 3 weeks and the first one has been having some engine light issues. The dealer so far is taking steps to find out why and as long as they continue to make that effort and get it sorted I will adjust my score to a 5. My sales person Dylan was amazing. He was still new when we walked in the first time but he was very personable and very friendly/eager to help us without it being over the top. If your in the market I highly recommend going to see the folks here.

We purchased a car from Hyuandai two weeks ago. 12 days after purchase, the check engine light came on. We called to ask whether the title was available for pickup yet (it was not) and asked if we could have the check engine light looked at. We were informed we would have to pay full price for the diagnostic evaluation. We took the car elsewhere and found out the TRANSMISSION WAS FAILING due to a current safety recall that was not disclosed to us or addressed. We will probably be out $7,000 dollars, and we do not even have the title yet! We bought our last 3 cars from the Jeff City Autoplex, but we will not be going back.

I bought my car in 2009 and every time I get the message my tire needs air, I just drive in and they fix it. Such small things are very good for this lady who is 73 and finds it difficult to air tires any longer. Repairing something as big as a door opener is a big thing for me and it was repaired quickly and effectively. Weve been taking the Tiberun to another place but due to cost decided to have it done along with the door latch repair and find it cheaper. Thanks
We own two Nissans. The current purchase replaces one of those destroyed in an accident. Our experience with Nissan is that they are comparatively affordable and offer extreme reliability. Im still driving a 1996 Maxima that handles like a dream. I was pleasantly surprised with the detail to which our sales representative explained all of the options available on various models with associated pricing without pushing the sale. Scotty Huffmaster took the time to find out what our needs and wants were in a vehicle and made recommendations that best fit those requirements. With his help, we arrived at a vehicle that fits us entirely. After the sale, we received detailed assistance in getting accustomed to our new car. A pleasant experience for all and we are most pleased with our new Kicks. There is nothing to complain about.

We just had another wonderful wonderful experience with Hyundai of Jefferson City.In March we purchased a new Sonota from this dealership. We purchased the car online and they delivered the car to our front door in Warrensburg and drove our trade-in back. The delivery driver was great!I have to admit I was very skeptical about the whole idea, but, the transaction could not have gone smoother! We got car we wanted, including all features we wanted at the price we wanted!Then today we went to the service department and met Derek. He was great! He answered all of our questions and was very helpful with us, even though we know just enough about technology to be dangerous.Job well done! We will be back, even though we are driving from Warrensburg!

I came in from Ft Myers, FL noticed that I was due for an oil change and tire rotation. I made a phone call, I was told to be there in two hours and they could get me in...... I was in and out, then continued on our trip ..... Great experience
Two and a half hour waste of time drive. Told me before I got there they would work with me on my trade in. Then I was offered less than what my car was worth.. Let on heavily that I was familiar with the business and they really didnt want to work with me. Not going to get into the red flag details when dealing with the salesperson and finance guy and how they spoke along with other things. Super corporate atmosphere trying to make as much money out of you as they can. Stay clear and run.

We purchased a used vehicle here at the Hyundai dealer for my son to drive and it has been a disaster. We bought the car from the Hyundai dealer, but the car came from the Nissan lot. We bought the car knowing that it needed a part for the rear-view mirror to be secured to the window. The rear-view mirror was not attached because they were waiting on a part. We were told that the part was on its way and that would be fixed within a few days. They let us take the car off the lot without the mirror. We waited and waited. Thirty days later, the mirror was still not attached. We called frequently and got the run around until I finally talked with the parts dealer who indicated that the part was on back order. The time came for us to license the car and low and behold, we were not given all the paperwork required to license the vehicle. The title was not included nor was the safety inspection. Again, we were given the car paperwork and were told that we had everything we needed to get the car licensed. We contacted the Hyundai salesperson and we were told to stop in, and they would give us the safety inspection. We had to get the safety inspection done by Nissan because they had never done a safety inspection. The part needed to secure the rear-view mirror had not arrived. In order for the car to pass the safety inspection, Nissan glued the mirror to the window because we had to get the car licensed because the temporary tag had expired the day before.As if this wasn’t bad enough, fast forward to a thirty days later. We were driving the car this weekend, when it stopped working on the side of the road. We had it towed back home and the engine has to be replaced. It is totally shot. We will pay just as much to replace the engine than we did for the car.Now we understand that a used vehicle is a risk, but this was a total lemon. We called the dealer, but their solution was to tow it and have them look at it. Now we got sold a bill of goods and you want us to trust you to fix it? Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. If you are considering buying from this place, buyer beware.

We also wanted the car to be in our set price range. Josh was able to find exactly what we needed for us in the Nissan Rogue. I required emergency service when my 2017 Sonata lost power approximately 10 miles South of Jefferson City, MO. I nursed it into the Jefferson City Hyundai dealer and they immediately began to deal with the problem. As I lived in Columbia, MO they were gracious enough to loan me a car off their lot to drive for the two days it took to repair my vehicle. The repairs were completed in exactly the time frame quoted to me and I returned their loaner to them and retrieved my Sonata. All of the people I dealt with acted in a very professional manner and I couldnt have asked for better treatment. All in all they made the most of a difficult situation. This was my first time financing a vehicle. I asked if I had all the paperwork I needed for plates. I was told yes. Wrong. No title. The title transfer paperwork wasnt even filled out with a signature so I cant do anything with it. I live a hour and 4 minutes away. Working 12 hour shifts. I dont have the time to run up there for a mistake I didnt do. I got my emails ignored the next day as well. I wasnt told which lot to go to when I came up. I ended up going to the wrong dealership. They lied to me the day before to get me to come in. They told me I was approved by a bank after emailing my check stubs. I was told I wouldnt need to bring anything with me per I emailed most of it already cause I wasnt coming in without a confirmation on my only day off that week. Get there and found out they never sent them to the bank in the first place. I countered my payment 3 times before I agreed with that. I had to wait for the bank to approve me. 3 hours! Get to the DMV and find out I cant get plates or do anything until I get the title. First time financer here. Never want to do this again.And then.... Not even a year later, my coolant starts leaking, i call up there cause im over a hour away. They tell me warranty says it covers coolant so you should be able to use the warranty, set up the appointment on my daughters birthday cause it was the only time i was off to go do it. Had to borrow a vehicle so my husband could pick me up. It took them all day to tell me i had a small seep in my hose for the coolant. All day. Warranty wont cover it. $283 to fix. Paid $108 for them to tell me this. They ended up keeping my car overnight cause they close at 530 and they called me at 528p. I was 45 minutes away at this point. Took it to somebody else and they found that the ring around the hose wasnt even tightened up AND 2 screws were missing around the engine!!

He ensured that all of my questions were answered and I had all the information that I needed to pick the car that was best for me. Not to mention they gave me a pretty good deal. My wife and I experienced as stress free of a car buying experience as possible. The salesman (Shiloh) was incredibly honest and helpful. He made good suggestions within the parameters we set. I was pleased with the negotiation process and walked away feeling like we got a fair price. They were willing to move off their asking price and willing to give a fair price on a trade in. The finance guy (Ty) was very transparent and did not try to sell us on any kind service contract or extended warranty once we stated we were not interested. They were both very knowledgeable and answered all questions throughout the process. I previously bought a car from Machens in Columbia and found the whole experience to be a nightmare. I would very much recommend them. This experience was great.
We live 5 hours away, but still may come here for our next vehicle purchase. We lost our keys while on vacation and they stayed open late to get us a replacement key and key fob made. On top of that, they even offered to drive us to a local restaurant to have dinner while we wait. Wonderful friendly staff and will bend over backwards to meet all of your needs. I bought a pre-owned Nissan Rogue from Corwin at the end of April. Josh Downing let us see and compare several vehicles before we settled on the Rogue. I got a good deal and the guys stayed late to get us in the vehicle that day. Josh and the service department have been very helpful with two minor repairs needed and both were covered by warranty. I am very happy with my Rogue and I will definitely be checking with Josh at Corwin for my next vehicle purchase.

Drove 4 hours to get there, the deal arranged on the phone was NOT what was in writing, also told we were to be given a warranty to compensate for the the miss communication via phone, only to find out 2 months later the warranty had been added to our loan. Witch we never got copies of in our packet of paper work, convenient on the part of the finance manager. Take your business else where, shady here to say the least!

Wife took her Nissan in for routine maintenance at 75K because it was running a little rough. Everything including the kitchen sink was thrown at her. $1600 in recommended charges. I expect that at the fast food oil change places, but not at the dealerships at the shop rates they charge. Watch your wives, daughters, girlfriends being taken advantage of by overzealous service department. The only reason I am not rating lower is that the vehicle is running better and my wife feels more confident. I am not dissatisfied, just disappointed.
If you are in the looking for a new car I strongly suggest not looking at Hundayai at Jefferson City Autoplex. We just purchased a 2017 Nissan Rogue with 14,xxx miles on it from Hundayai less than two months ago, and now the bumper is starting to fall off. We have also had the car in the shop for at least four times for different reasons, because the check engine light kept coming on. And now they are saying they will not fix the bumper and I will have to pay for it myself. When my husband went in to talk to the General Manager about this, the General Manager just walked away from my husband. If you want to put some of your own money into a car after you just buy one, Hundayai at Jefferson City Autoplex is the place for you.

This was the best experience I had buying a vehicle. I was even more nervous because I owed more on my car than it was worth, and I didnt want to find myself in the same situation two years later. Nathan Hayes was my salesman.He met with me two days in a row after I got off of work, and took me to test drive almost every car on the lot. Finally, I fell in love with the 2013 Nissan Altima. Nathan showed me which vehicles had the best rebates and reviews, and sure enough I was able to get the car without carrying money over. This was also the first car I bought brand new! Im origanally from NYC and now I live here. Its been over a year that Ive been going to the hyundai dealer on Missouri Blvd for maintenance on my car. I cant complaint. In NYC I wouldnt go to a hyundai dealer. They are very expensive. I feel comfortable I can continue visiting this place for maintenance and car care.
