Came in to check out some of their movie selection, found a few titles, and browsed their firearms and TV selections. My son recently purchased a TV from them that went out within a week, but they made good on it since it happened so quickly after the purchase. You can get some pretty nice deal, and great folks to work with. Keep up the great work, River City Pawn!

He couldn’t ID the metal I brought him. Using acids and an electrical machinery, was unable to identify my metal. Anyone know where in town to bring metals that will pass 18k gold acid test that could identify them?

I have been going to Jason for years. He has always offered me quality products at a reasonable price. The nature of the Pawn industry is such that he may not always have what I am looking for, but he has let me know on a few occasions when something I want becomes available. Worst pawn shop in Jefferson City, although that’s not saying a lot. Owner is absolutely clueless, tried to give us prices on video games when he hadn’t heard of The Last of Us, one of the most popular games of the last 3 years. Gave us a quote on a console over the phone and when we came in to do business he tried to give us less than what he told us, even though we brought in more than just the console. I’d avoid this one, they’re either idiots or crooks, if not both.They also claim to be the “cleanest pawn shop in Jefferson City” but I developed a flu literally hours after we left the store. Do not go here.

River city pawn and Gun is a great! I really appreciate the great customer service and the fact they are fair and the interest isnt exactly high it is reasonable! If you have goods and need cash they will help out!

River City Pawn has a wide variety or items and knowledgeable people to assist you. Their $10 transfer fee on firearms purchased online or in another state is one of the lowest around. The only negative thing about the store is the lack of storefront parking but that is minor when compared to the customer service they provide.

I have done several business transactions with Jason and always have given me a good price on my purchases and a few pawns when time of need! I highly recommend this place of business!

I wouldnt even give them 1 star for how ignorant they were when talking to me in front of my daughter. As soon as your business is over they act like they have no use for you.

Watch out if you use a card in this place. They ran my husbands card twice and it went threw both tumes. They said they dont know anything about it even after we called and talked to them. It was a government card so now the government lawyers they are going after them because they will not return his money. They are now under government investigation

Went in for a loan Jason offered little to nothing on merchandise, I took elsewhere, got exactly what I was asking for it. Jason also claimed all parts werent with my merchandise, without making.a effort to look. I had to show him it was in fact all there. All in all a horrible experience. Will not go back. Would not recommend this business to anyone

They have good quality used items as well as new items. And the prices are negotiable from list price at the store.
