Got my COVID vaccine here. The entire process from checking-in to getting the shot itself was painless. Special shout out to Veronica who was just lovely to us both times.

Its so organized and clean

Had a Covid test scheduled there for today at 12:45 and I received an email reminding me of such this morning so this afternoon I got ready and made me way to my appointment. When I arrived, the woman at the drive-thru pharmacy told me they didn’t have the supplies to do my Covid test so I would have to cancel my appointment with them and create a new one at a different Walgreens. Now I ask you; If THIS Walgreen’s was too incompetent to meet their obligation for a Covid test that I had scheduled DAYS ago, what makes you think I would schedule ANOTHER appointment with Walgreens? Then she told me I should have gotten an email saying my appointment was cancelled. Well I didn’t! Walgreens wasted a lot of my time, as I was depending on this test for my job so they would pay me! Get it together! Do better! Attached are photos of the emails I received from Walgreens!

This place is horrible, the customer service is horrible. You can stand in line with five associates walking past you, not one willing to help or see if they can at least find assistance.

I wanted to get a Covid test prior to visiting family, so scheduled an appointment for the drive-through testing. I picked this location because it’s one of the Louisiana Department of Health “no cost” locations. Note that it’s important to verify that prior to making your appointment. You’ll be requested to enter your insurance details if you have it, but won’t be charged if your insurance declines to pay. I wasn’t able to schedule an appointment for same day testing, but could schedule the following day. An email confirmation was sent a few hours later informing me of my appointment instructions. On the day of my appointment, I arrived 7 minutes early and they were ready for me. They walked me through administering my own test and I was done within a minute. I was nervous about how long the results would take, but it only took 1.5 days to get my results online. I highly recommend this Walgreens for anyone needing a quick and convenient Covid test.

This is the most disorganized and inefficient pharmacy I have ever dealt with. The staff is nice and helpful, but Walgreens systems are horrible. If you call in a prescription and you have been getting a 3 month supply, they do not call the physician if you do not have enough refills to cover. They cannot E-Prescribe, but rely on faxes which busy physician clinics cannot always keep tract of. This ties up time and is upsetting when you get to the window and find your prescription quantities are incorrect. That and it costs more by most insurance plans for a one month supply vs. a three month supply.There is also the problem of changing brands with no notification and the size of the pill is larger than all the previous refills. This sometimes presents a problem, especially in the elderly, where swallowing is a an issue.I have been a pharmacist for over 30 years and I can tell you that EVERY time I have a prescription filled there is a problem. For a company that is dominating the market this is a terrible disservice to the patient. I can tell you in dealing with Rite Aid, there rarely was a problem. If there were a closer pharmacy to go to, believe me, I would switch.

The pharmacy has the absolute sweetest staff. They are always so helpful and full of cheer. They are also fast and efficient.

The lady at the pharmacy drive through is always so kind and friendly! Otherwise, just a good standard Walgreens 👌

Morning shift here SUCKS. One specific lady that works register is so rude she rings you up and doesn’t even tell you your total just looks at you and expects you to look for it. No your welcome when i say thank you no have a good day doesn’t even say anything back to me when i say thanks nothing. I thought it was just a bad day but i live literally around the corner and work next door it’s literally every time i see her. HOWEVER the night shift is typically very pleasant does proper procedure one cashier named Lashondrea I believe was super cool.

I have been taking an expensive medication for months now. Alicia in the pharmacy helped me yesterday and she advised me to go to the company website where I could download a coupon that saved me $100! That is the first time that ANYONE from the pharmacy or my doctors office had offered me that information! Thank you Alicia for taking the time to help me out. I really appreciate it 😊

Understaffed

Pharmacists and personnel have always been extremely helpful. They go above the service expected to help me. This is the best pharmacy I have used and will always go here.

Not once but every time I go in there I have some kind of problem. I will be changing stores after this problem with getting my 3 meds filled. So sick of being treated the way I get treated in this store. Make sure u take a picture of your prescriptions before u give them to them. Looking for a family own store to have my meds filled from now on. They don’t even deserve that one star.

Very poorly stocked.

Deserving of ZERO stars. The corporate pharmacy at this location marches to its own sense of time. Every prescription is filled at their leisure and they make no excuses for it. After three times of having Ochsner call in prescriptions here I have now made up my mind to go somewhere else. This place is ridiculous. Even with 24 hours advance you’ll still be kept waiting. Ridiculous! I so miss the Rite-Aid two blocks away which was forced to close when this corporate bully bought them out.

You should tell people in the drive thru to pull around so you can help other customers, not sit at the window for 20 minutes and the people behind them cant back up and get out of line.

Wont honor 70% off Christmas price when items are clearly Christmas. Avoid if you want customer service.

The store manager John is very rude and unprofessional.
