Left my CPAP mask at home while on vacation. I left a message on Saturday night. The owner John called me early on Sunday (the store is closed on Sundays) and met me at the store. He really save my vacation!!!Great service and great company.

I received amazingly courteous, helpful and professional service from John at AllStar from the time I called on the phone on New Years Eave, when it seemed nearly all the other medical supply retail outlets were closed. John explained they remained open because they had several customers expecting deliveries of equipment or requiring other services. AllStar is an appropriate name for this Medical Supply.

Forgot the powercord for my cpap and they had the best price in town 30 bucks cheaper and in stock than the 5 places i called. They even threw in a bottle of distilled water
All Star Medical saved our cruise! We arrived in New Orleans on a Friday and were scheduled Sunday to begin a 12 day cruise. That evening when going to bed my husband realized he was missing a crucial piece to his C-Pap machine. He attempted to fix it himself but the machine just wouldnt work. I was sure we would be on the next plane to Boston and our vacation was over. I googled C-pap supplies near Orleans and there were 2 hits. I called All Star Medical to find that they were closed for the weekend but left a message anyways. In a short time we received a call back and John agreed to meet us the next morning in his shop. He had what we needed and our vacation was saved. He obviously monitors his phone to accommodate his customers. We are forever grateful. Outstanding customer service and easy to locate. Out of town and needed a part that was not easily accessible but employees went out of their way to find the part. They could have just said we dont have it in stock but they did not do that. They searched until the part was located. They also operated the equipment to ensure it would work. I called this afternoon to notify them my brother has passed away on 12/5 and to see if I needed to mail a death certificate. John, the man who answered the phone, did not even offer condolences just said he wanted to be paid his $41.00. May God bless you John.
I brought a Encore device from this medical store. Took the product home and found out that it didnt work for me. They charge me $300.00 for this device because insurance doesnt pay for this device. I went back to all star medical and told me they dont do refund on this device. She told me to call the company. So I called Encore and told them the problem with the device. The company took care of me. When I asked about the device they told me they have it for $115.00.I couldnt believe it that was my mistake I should have done my homework. Before you buy from them check the price because they are extremely high to get a profit.

These guys were awesome! I am from out of town and forgot the gasket to my resmed water chamber which makes the unit useless. I called and John stayed 30 minutes after closing to make sure I had what I needed! Not only did he stay until 4:30 he threw in a travel size bottle of distilled water. Thanks for everything!Joseph

I had been looking for a power lift chair and after reviewing various brands found Golden Technologies to be the best chair which is sold by All-star Medical. John provided excellent customer service and offered me a discount as well . I saved here over buying online. He also threw in a $20 pad for the chair. I dont see why some of these angry reviews have been posted. If youre unhappy then try to resolve things first. One of these reviews has to do with the insurance company. This is the only time I dealt with this company and he has a nice selection of equipment . I recommend All-star based on my one experience.
I was in from out of town and freaked out when I saw that I forgot my CPAP. John helped me get a prescription from my doctor and I took a taxi to Allstar and back to the hotel. They live up to their name here - ALLSTAR!
I travel for my job, and recently forgot the power supply cord for my ResMed Cpap machine at home. I called several other places in the area with any luck until I called All Star Medical in Jefferson. They had exactly what I needed, In stock and I picked it up an hour later. I even picked up a new tank at a great price just to have a spare, something I had wanted since I got the machine! Couldn’t be happier and they really helped me out of a bind, that’s all star!!

Phenomenol service. I was traveling with family and left the gasket for my humidification chamber (Airsense 10) at home. Even though the store was closed on a holiday weekend, the on-call service person made a special trip to the store to meet me and provide the gasket. Just outstanding. I highly recommend Allstar Medical Equipment.
Excellent Service:Starting a vacation in the French Quarter New Orleans; I found that I’ve forgotten equipment that went with my CPAP machine (an outdated machine.) I called many medical supply stores with no luck of finding the equipment I needed. Until, I called Allstar Medical Equipment and talked to John McDonald. John had the equipment I needed :) I was ecstatic! I am a doctor, but in this case I was the patient needing a CPAP machine. My doctor at the Sleep Center of New Orleans in Kenner recommended All-Star, as did my insurance company. When I explained I was in clinic seeing patients and would have difficulty getting to their store before 4:30pm, the young lady came by my clinic in her lunch hour and delivered the CPAP machine.Excellent service. Highly recommend!

I WENT IN AND PICKED UP A BREASTPUMP FROM THE LOCATION ON JEFFERSON HWY. ABOUT A WEEK LATER AFTER BEING TOLD IT WAS APPROVED THROUGH MY INSURANCE BY ALL STAR MEDICAL I RECIEVED A BILL FROM BLUE CROSS. I SPOKE TO MY DOCTOR AND SHE TOLD ME TO CALL THEM SO I DID AND I WAS TOLD TO KEEP THE PUMP BUT A DAY LATER I WAS CALLED BACK AND TOLD TO RETURN IT. I AM 38 WEEKS PREGNANT AND INSTEAD OF OWNING THEIR MISTAKE AND MAKING IT RIGHT THEY ARE BEING EXTRMEMLY UNPROFESSIONAL. I NOW HAVE TO WAIT 3-4 WEEKS TO GET A NEW ONE IN. THIS HAS TO BE THE WORST EXPERIANCE THAT I HAVE HAD WITH A COMPANY IN A WHILE AND I WILL LET EVERYONE I KNOW THAT IF THEY HAVE AN OPTION THEY SHOULD GO ELSEWHERE.
