The smartest thing I ever did upon getting my latest car was taking it up to this Big O, getting 4 Big O brand tires and trusting Shannon, Sean, Brandon & the guys with my brakes & rotors as well. This is the best place Ive been for car repairs and maintenance, and Ive yet to do anything to my car/tires they cant fix. Which is saying something because Im rough on my wheels. The price is great and they actually have my tires in stock every time I have a flat, which Id had trouble with when I still went other places. The service is excellent too and they work super fast! I dread getting my car worked on way less after I started coming here.

I was panicked and needing to get my tire fixed so i could get to work the next day. I was told to bring my car in the following day. Shannon Duncan told me he’d make it work and ended up getting my tire fixed the same day. Brandon Rice made sure I was up-to-date with the status of my car and kept me in the loop and made sure everything was seamless. I am beyond appreciative!!!

They were super nice, I always have my stepdad take my car to shops bc the past shops would always overpriced me but this time I had to go by myself and I’m glad I chose this place the people here were super nice and did not over price me, the price was lower than the rest

I’ve had nothing but good experiences here. I used to go to the dealer, but realized they’re ripping me off on basic maintenance. Now I just google what needs to be done for my year and make, and the guys here are honest and don’t try to upsell. I also bought tires here and they steered me towards a good value option, which when I searched online was very highly rated for the price.

I took my wheels there to have tires switched out on them only to get them back completely damaged when I spoke with manager Billy Sexton he just gave me my money back what I was gonna be charged to do the switch and refused to fix the damage him and his employees did to my wheels. I would not recommend going there.

What a heck of a team. We had a hell of a bad experience on our trip from Chicago to Orlando. I’m not going to get into the multiple things that went wrong. One of our mishaps included a flat tire. We did have to make a one day pit stop in Louisville in order to schedule a tire change. Long story short these guys made our day. Amazing team

I took my car here a couple weeks ago when the tire light came on. They checked it out for me, put air in the tires, and let me know everything was ok. I got a flat a couple days ago and of course I brought it back here even though there are other shops closer to my house. Shannon took care of everything. The service was quick and I was back on the road in no time. If I need a service done that they offer I will definitely be back!

Amazing staff and crew, highly recommend this location. (Kudos to Shawn Pry) I walked in and he ordered my needed tires, next day I came back and they took me right away. They realized the back tires were the wrong size and had a truck come in not even within an hour with the right size tires. They went beyond and noticed each customer was greeted and treated like family. Then the manager even ran out while I was leaving to give me the proper rebate information. I cant say enough about the staff here, keep up the great work, they are truly on top of their game!

Went in for oil change and tire rotation and DID NOT rotate tires. But told me when I pick up car that everything was complete. Went back in for the rotation and said the reason they bc I need new front tires. Which I knew that is why I ask to rotate tires. After poor excuse on why they told me they did do it to why they did not do it. Rep price new tires. Purchased 2 new tires and request to change bulb in drivers side. Rep remove car and said all bulbs working properly and car is ready. Drove car home and wheel extremely shaky and lights NOT working. Called and ask if they balance car and spoke about bulb. Guess they being lazy rep said. Took back in next morning. Rep called and said I need $90 HID bulb. Gave the ok. Never called to let me know car is ready. Rode past before closing and saw car sitting. Called and Rep said everything is good to go and ready. Went into shop 30 min later to get car and car was sitting in the bay area!!!!! Rep then let me know that I need a ballast. I still needed the bulb but a ballast is needed and gave estimate. Ask why did they know I need a bulb then. Rep look old and wires look cut (huh). Called around and finally decided to take to Acura dealership. After paying for diagnostic, Acura notified me it was not put in accurately and part from the bulb is missing. Acura gave estimate to fix. Called Big O in regards to the part and said it probably on the floor and swept up by now. Contact Acura that BigO does not have part and notified me to get part and will replace. Called BigO about all the issues and said will take care of everything and bring receipts. Went to shop and spoke with Owner/Manager and after explaining situation to him felt EXTREMELY uncomfortable as he became defensive. Lost out on ~$500 to fix what BigO have now said we do not do headlights. Like people told me now Big O is there for tires DO NOT ASK FOR ANYTHING ELSE. As a single women I trust people who know to tell me what I need to do with my cars. I should not ever feel the need to check behind of a paid services. Between the tires recommendation, lack of rotation after saying it was complete, not balancing new tires, requesting HID bulb (after you say now you dont do) and then saying I need $600 part that you still dont know I needed. But because BigO did not install properly they guesstimated what I needed. Very sad and disappointing situation! Would not recommend BigO to someone that is unfamiliar with cars.

If I could give more stars I would!!! My experience here was 10/10. Shannon Duncan helped me the whole time I was there! Showed me everything I needed to know about my car top to bottom! When it comes to getting my car serviced I’m always hesitant because I’m a young lady and I don’t want to get taken advantage of.. Have a over tighten lug nut tried using a bolt extractor but can’t get off. Now confused on how to get off. All nuts for studs hard to get off already replaced four so far can’t get rest off to do brakes.

I had checked around for brake replacement prices. I used to work on my own cars back in the 1960s and 1970s so I know a lot about cars. The quotes I got from other places were off the charts over priced. I saved over $100 with Big O. I went to the one on Talorsville Rd in J Town. They were great. I look for honest people who do a good job for a reasonable price. Some places wanted $600 to $800 for te front and rear brake job that didnt even include rear brake drums. They almost gave me a heart attack with theirquotes. I am retired and live on a very limited income so I have to be careful with my money. Great guys and a great job.!!!.

Air was leaking from the valve in one of my tires. I parked at Big O Tires and they immediately fixed it for me. I will certainly be going back whenever I have a problem!

If you dont know much about tires, they will explain things to you and get you the right tires for you and your car. Anytime you go in this store you feel like they really want to help you. If you have a flat or your low pressure light is on,they will help you .Even if you do not have Big O brand tires they still will take care of you and they will be happy to do it. I have never seen a shop where everyone I conversed with told me different things. I told multiple individuals my situation and they either told me It’s your caliper, need new brakes, power steering, this will take 45 mins, this only takes 20 minutes, you need all 4 tires. The worst lie of them all was......WE ARE FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE.

I recently bought tires for my F250 truck and I also purchased tires for my Honda Odyssey about 6 months ago. Their prices are always great but the service is what keeps me going back!

Can’t speak for other locations but Big O on Taylorsville road has won my business indefinitely. After a weekend tire blow out, I came here expecting to spend a wad on tire repair. The employees were prompt/honest. My service cost was much less then originally estimated. Every detail of what was wrong and the steps for repairing it was laid out & all my questions were answered directly. Amazing customer service & attentive employees.

Took my car her to get the headlight bulbs replaced. Crazy Subaru that you have to take the tires off to do it. An hour after dropping it off they call me back and say its done. Great! I think, but after paying 52$ I go out side and find that they replaced a running light and not the headlights at all. 52$ for a running light? I show the customer rep, he shows a mechanic and they tell me theyll take care of it. Im ok. I come back to pick up my car and they charge me 75$ more. They run me around twice and charge me 128$ total. Which is more than the Subaru dealership charges. I see a lot of positive reviews but I dont know. I feel like I got taken and they were not very professional today.

No matter where I go, I will always come back to this Big O Tires location. Being a female and somewhat mechanically challenged I would be an easy target to be taken advantage of in a vehicle maintenance situation, so I am always a little skeptical and overly cautious. I started visiting this location approximately 5 years ago when I moved to the area. First for oil changes, then tires, maintenance and eventually all my car maintenance needs. However, about a year ago I moved away from the area and in a crunch for time stopped in another Big O location. They indicated that certain items and service was needed. I called Shannon at my old faithful Big O and he immediately remembered my vehicle and pulled up my record of service. He reached out himself to the other Big O location and coordinated a solution and resolved the expense as well. You simply cannot find better or more trustworthy service anywhere. Plus, Shannon is the kindest and most helpful person ever. Thank you so very much for all that you do and all that you have done. Ladies, you can trust these folks for all your vehicle needs. I highly recommend and no matter where I live, I will drive back to J-Town and this Big O Tire store and their wonderful team.

I’ve been going to Big O since I started driving and it’s always been a pleasant experience. Recently there have been some major difficulties in my life that have caused my financial stability to become nonexistent. I walked into Big O expecting to pay a certain amount, and was embarrassed when I realized I wouldn’t have enough to pay. I didn’t say anything in the moment hoping to figure something out before my car was done being worked on. But before I could to anything, this wonderful manager (Shannon Duncan) talked to me and cut me a wonderful deal that was much more affordable for me. It was extremely kind and unexpected. The staff went out of their way to help me and I’m very grateful!

Shannon Duncan the Manager went over and above in his service when I brought my Mothers car in for a new tire. I explained that I was leaving town the following morning and he miraculously found the right tire and was able to put it on the car very quickly. His friendly banter made the whole experience fun. He exceeded my expectations by a mile!

Mr. Sexton, me and my wife have been coming to your big o location for at least 30 years. This past Tuesday I had AAA tow one of our vehicles to your store. It was in need of repairs to a leaking brake line. I was informed,possibly by you, that with thanksgiving near, it might take a few days before you could estimate repair costs. I said that it was not a problem. Friday morning I was contacted by Scott with an estimate of around 400 dollars. I immediately told him that sounded good,and to go ahead with repairs. Friday afternoon Scott called back to let us know that the vehicle was fixed,and would only cost 340 dollars. We were very pleased. I put my wife on the phone with Scott to arrange payment. She has had a Big o charge account for years. He found her account on your computer and said we were good. I requested that the vehicle be parked outside with the key in the visor and locked. We were out of town,but one of our children would come by after store hours with the spare key to retrieve the vehicle. Scott said he would take care of it. Around 8:30pm Friday night my daughter called to tell me that the vehicle was locked inside your building. Saturday morning I called Scott to find out why my request wasnt honored. He said, I dont know what happened. I wasnt here. I accepted his half hearted excuse and requested once more that the vehicle be available to be picked up after hours today. At 3 :57 on I received a photo text from my daughter. Once again the vehicle was locked inside your building. I dont think my request was unreasonable,do you? So I guess I have to take time off work to come by Monday morning to retrieve my vehicle. I need a reasonable explanation.We have always been pleased with your excellent service,but this incident has left me angry.

Customer service employees are always ready to help you get the best prices and work you in even when they are really busy. And, you can go-online and download coupons too! It dont get any better than that.

Big O J-Town does a great job. Brandon Rice helped me with a warranty issue on a tire. They had the tire back on the truck and all the tires rotated in about 30 minutes. Go use Big-O J-Town... great service at the right price!

Shannon Duncan and the guys at Big O Tires are honest, hardworking and fair. When I received a quote for some work on my car, I called the dealership for a second opinion. The dealership told me to take Big O up on the price because no one else could beat it. They will treat you fairly and let you know if something does not need to be done on your car, which is rare in this world. The quality of work you receive from them is superior. I will continue to bring my car to Bid O as long as I live in Louisville. I cannot recommend them enough.

Just went there on 9/3/19 and also on 8/30/19. Was having trouble with loud squealing noises and scraping sounds when I was driving. Seemed like it was brakes. They were very nice and looked at the brakes on the first visit and said that the brakes were fine with plenty of pad left. Over the weekend it just got worse and brought it back for another look. They looked again and said the same thing. The store manager Shannon never once suggested driving it or trying to figure the sound out! However he suggested that I just replace all pads and rotors for about $700, basically starting from scratch since they were thinking the pads were POSSIBLY causing the problem; AGAIN diagnosing the problem without test driving to listen to the squeals themselves!!!So I left and when I did, the problem immediately was 100 times worse! As I drove, the squealing became unbearable, because now it was squealing 100 percent of the time. I then stopped at another shop down the street and they immediately test drove it and said IT WAS NOT THE BRAKES!!! It turned out to be a damaged muffler rubbing against the drive shaft. That shop, not BIG O TIRES, immediately fixed it. Total cost for repair, $20!!!!!! The point of this review is to show the public you really need to be aware that although BIG O TIRES overall does an acceptable job for many people, this is an example of how you really need to be careful in trusting the word of some of these shops, especially when they do not test drive your vehicle before making an expensive unnecessary diagnosis and on top of ALL THAT if we had followed their advice, the PROBLEM WOULD HAVE PERSISTED and we would have been out over $700!!!

Since moving to the area over a decade ago Ive exclusively used Big O Tires of J-Town for all things tire and brakes. Ive never received anything but excellent service.Shannon is incredibly knowledgeable and always fair. He is very knowledgeable and knew exactly what I needed for my Porsche and saved me a lot of money in the process. This is a breath of fresh air in the auto repair business. Since December of 2018 I have had oil changes, 4 new tires (at an amazing cost I might add and was not pressured into a high price tire) and replacement of a power window motor. Shannon, Brandon and Billy are always so nice to help! An auto/tire store is not a place I generally look forward to going too but these folks have changed my mindset. I know I dont have to question what is needed to be repaired, they have the experience and are very professional. The store is immaculate. You just dont find these types of businesses around much anymore! Thanks All!

We are new to this area. After looking at several shops to get our car serviced, I went to Big O Tires. From the first moment I stepped foot in the shop, Shannon, as well as Brandon, made me feel welcome. When our car needed a repair that would take several hours. Shannon went the extra mile and made sure that several people were able to work on the car, so my wait time was cut in half. I really appreciated this!
