I could not be MORE pleased with the outcome of my floors. I hired Unique Flooring Solutions to refinish my floors to their original 110+ years glory, and they turned out BEAUTIFUL. I bought a flipped home about 5 years ago, and the flipper stained the pine floors a dark chocolate which showed every scuff, mud print, speck of dirt, and dog hair. I decided to revert back to their original pine, and opted for a clear coat. The entire staff were so pleasant to work with, the price was right, and again, I am so pleased. I highly recommend this company if you are looking to beautify your hardwood floors.

Absolutely one of the best choices for all of your flooring needs. Have had many rooms in my home done by Unique Flooring and every sing one turned out great. Nothing but professional and courteous staff. Who are always on time. Anyone who says otherwise has obviously never done business with them.

After checking the hours on their recording to confirm they would be open, I drove half an hour to the store to find the lights on and the door locked. The sign said they would return at 1:50, but it was already 2:40pm. I phoned again and got the same recording. I saw a man and woman seated inside, so I knocked. The woman unlocked the door and peeked out at me. She said she was closed for lunch. I explained I had checked their hours before driving half an hour. I asked if she had a boss and she said she owned the business. She was angry and said she posted the closure on the door and that she was eating. Then she argued about what time she was reopening. I gave up and left. There are many more flooring stores just down the road and they have nice people running them.

We got hardwood floors installed, but also had a couple of other small projects (stairs to refinish and fireplaces to tile). They helped us get it all done and it looks great. Unique Flooring did a great job on our floors. When you pick out flooring, its hard to envision the final look from a small sample. They discussed our needs and options before ordering. The floors arrived and were installed on time, as promised, and no hidden charges at the end. Zee did a fantastic job on the install, including getting the squeeks out of our subfloor! We had the original hardwood floors refinished in our home by Unique Flooring Solutions. The floors are over 50 years old so we did not know what to expect. They turned out beautifully. They did an excellent job. The staff was very courteous and very well mannered as well as conscientious. Kept us informed of the progress thru out. We were 100% satisfied and would highly recommend them to any one who needs any flooring jobs done. And, their prices are very reasonable as well.

Oliver installed new hardwood floors in our kitchen, 1/2 bath and master bedroom. His crew had the entire house to themselves for 4 days as we were out of town. When we returned the floors had small bubbles all over them in every room. He went on to say it was not his fault it must have been the dust. He then said he would come back and buff it out. After consulting another wood company and local painter, they both told me it need to be sanded again, stained and ploy. Oliver refused and said he would buff first......so we left the house again for two days and the buffing did not work. He reluctantly said he would be back to sand, stain and poly. When we returned home left the house again for 3 days the stain was a different color lighter and he did not sand around the commode or 3 of the door thresholds, you could clearly tell because there were still bubbles and the stain was different colors. So I finally hired another company to fix his mess. Oliver always answered my calls/text but in the end he tried to take the fast route at our expense. That is why I cant recommend him or his company.

We had our hardwood floors redone in October .. We keep getting compliments. Excellent to work with. Dependable and knowledgeable. I would absolutely recommend and use again!

Dzenan and his team do an incredible job. When we first renovated our home, our general contractor used Unique Flooring Solutions to refinish the hardwood floors and install hardwood on the second floor. The whole house has a seamless look. Next we wanted to do a basement remodel, we opted to not use a general contractor and made a call to Unique Flooring Solutions to give us a bid. Not only was the price fair, but the timing and communication was fantastic. There is nothing more satisfying than having your phone call returned in less than 15 minutes. The installation of the luxury vinyl flooring was done with great care and looks fantastic. Its a rock solid 10/10. The basement remodel also included a bathroom remodel and the tile installation I would give a 9/10. The floors were perfect, but the tile surround ended up with one gap that had to be filled with caulk near the top. We only notice it because we are finicky about details. I would not hesitate to use Dzenan again. His team was courteous, professional, highly communicative and overall craftsmen.

Let me begin with the end here. Our refinished hardwood floors look very good! Taking what they had to work with (extremely old painted-over pine wood), they did an incredible job and we are satisfied with the final product. Unfortunately, there were quite a few issues that we ran into during the process.Our biggest complaint is that our house was not treated with much respect by members of the Unique Flooring Solutions team. Our entire front sidewalk was covered with small carpet pieces for two weeks after the carpet was removed (And werent swept up until I said something). One of our bathrooms (that wasnt being refinished) was left very dirty and the workers ruined a white bathmat by walking on it with dirty shoes. They had to pull out the dryer to use the outlet and didnt reinstall it, just leaving it completely pulled out. And beware of their Dust Collection System. It doesnt work. We had dust on furniture three rooms away from where they were working. Thank goodness we put protective covering over our items on display.The communication was pretty good. But I had to initiate most of it. If there was an obvious issue, like holes that needed to be patched over, I was the one who had to start the conversation about possible solutions. I believe a lot of people work with Dzenan, but I worked primarily with Oliver and to his credit, he was always able and willing to talk. Even at late hours. And when an issue arose, he made sure it was addressed and corrected. When the workers accidentally got stain on our white paint, he made sure it was fixed. But again, I actually had to call him and let him know what had happened before a solution could be reached.Overall, our experience with UFS was decent. If you use them, make sure to check the work every day and report to them with any issues or corrections you want made. Again, we are very happy with the end result, but the process was somewhat of a hassle.
