Great little South American cafe/diner.... This neighborhood spot serves comfort Colombian/Ecuadorian food. Small indoor dining space, but this family run restaurant is a favorite spot among the locals and known for strong coffee, delicious breakfast and other snacks.

Soooo happy to find this little gem in the heights. Great price for delicious food. The beef and potato empanadas were perfect, yummy little package of flavor. I had my mid afternoon snack with a cappuccino. I will be coming back soon! They are so sweet and welcoming, thank you ❤

I am surprised I never gave them a review. Bumped into this place since the beginning of Covid.The service is wonderful and it is a true local spot, they serve some amazing empanadas! The best I ever had. Amazingly crispy and the inside is always tasty.Latte: I love their method. They use a blender to crush the ice and the mix of coffee and milk is perfect, very strong, but not diluted. Love it.Cheese and Ham Empanada: Very good chese to ham ratio. Nice quality ingredients and my favorite. I love that they freshy fry it when I order.Chicken Empanada: With a nice sauce on the side. It is packed with chicken! Nice meaty taste. with the same quality flaky crust. Gramat for chicken lovers and one or two is more than enough to fill you up.Guava Empanada: Sweet and different than the meaty variety. Very smooth taste with a mixture of cheese. I recommend trying this yourself as the taste is hard to describe, unless you ate Gauva before!Pandebono: My favorite little cheese snacks! Warm and favorful! The size is also great, as just a few balls will fill you up. At $1 a pop, they are worth it.Overall, I recommend this place, amazing service, nice owners and staff. Extremely affordable at like 1.50 average empanada. When I am in town, I always stop by here! I usually eat it too quick to take any pictures.

A hidden homemade Empanada place! My husband and I tried this place randomly, I felt like if I was back to Colombia, such a nice customer service, the food was fresh, and the owners were so nice to us that my husband took a cute photo of them, totally coming back again! Love this place & their generous sized & affordably prices lattes & salads! The olive spread on their rustic bread is absolutely amazing. The couscous & feta salad had such a generous amount of delicious feta and the vegan avocado salad had to have a least half an avocado in there, maybe more! Nobody gives that much delicious quality food these days!

Best coffee in the heights — the owners at galeria are the sweetest and their food is incredible. get the pan de Bono (best I’ve ever had), the croissants and pain au chocolat, or the variety of empanadas. not only is everything mouth watering, but everything is super affordable. a small coffee is $1.25! galeria also has a great event space in the back which can be rented out! my partner and I hosted our very low-key reception here and it looked amazing.

Bakery and coffee. Their coffee is the best in the area. I like the full flavor without bitterness. Mellow, strong. Wonderful flan and specialities. They make sandwiches and hot meals to order. They have a small party room in the back you can rent. Very sweet clean people.

Went there yesterday for breakfast - it was a nice and really cheap breakfast! A cozy cafe with a nice atmosphere - and AMAZING cookies!! The only thing to make the experience better would be utensils that are not made out of plastic :)

Love this place. The empanadas are delish! The espresso is made to perfection.

I love getting their coffee, chicken empanada, and chocolate chip cookie :)Just be wary some of the staff are not great with English, so you might need to be extra clear & keep an eye on what theyre doing (i.e. sometimes Ill ask for black coffee and still get milk in mine, sometimes I get an arepa instead of the chocolate cookie..)

This place was a delight, and the sandwiches we ordered were delicious.

It is a cute Cafe. a couple of tables in front and nice dining area in the back. I the breakfast special and was great a wonderful home made style. I asked for scrambling, there home fries and chorizo for meat and no other details. They made it perfectly just like I would have had Mom make me at home.

It was very pleasant and good. Support our local establishment.

It is The Best place to drink coffee, (Cappuccino with almond milk is my preferred), have a funny story with your friends. The attendance is amazing.

The Pandebono are to die for, baked fresh multiple times a day. The owners are just lovely, and it’s a great place to go for coffee without blowing the budget.

I love this family shop. The new owners are very warm and welcoming. I have missed the taste of Yucca soup for many years since I lived in Ecuador and finally had some of their healthy home made yucca with beef soup today. It was perfect! I was actually waiting for chicken soup day, but I waited too late to get it and missed my chance that time. Don’t miss your chance! Come before 3pm or it’s all gone!I have only a small allowance for lunch so I have been coming to get something each day until I have no more in my pocket. The coffee is not “cheap” as other reviewers said — it is inexpensive yet much better than any other place in town. I think the coffee costs less than the electricity to make it! But the love that the beautiful woman who makes the coffee puts into your cup is rare and priceless.The chairs are comfortable and the treats are filling and nice. The owner will tell you exactly how many seconds to warm up their cheese bread in the microwave. Empanadas, cookies, arepas, buñelos, and more. Sometimes they have sausages for sale or other limited edition items.They also have an extensive breakfast and sandwich offering which adds more savory items to the menu than what most coffee shops have. Whether you’re avoiding carbs, if you’re vegetarian or paleo, or if you want a straight sugar hit, this place has great options. Flavors are balanced and not too salty, probably on the less salty and healthier side.This is a wonderful community place where you can feel comfortable and safe from the cold outdoors while your neighbors gather throughout the day. Also, the son is quite handsome.

I ordered a cheese empanada. The worst thing looking into the empanada was seeing MOLD in it!! I completely lost my appetite and spit it out. I went back to the store, the lady really tried to cover it up saying it was a scallion. I know the difference between a scallion and mold!! It was NO scallion at all. NEVER GOING BACK HERE AGAIN!!

The frappe was glorious and the empanada de pollo was delicious. I recommend it for a quite coffee and snack.
