I saw online that Walgreens does covid testing and DR is “powered by” Walgreens. You can transfer prescriptions between Walgreens and Duane Reade now. However, they don’t do the testing and three separate Pharmacy workers couldn’t tell me where to go. Covid is here to stay.Additionally, I witnessed an elderly woman have to sit and wait for her transaction to be completed. There was one chair directly in between two gentlemen. Per social distancing guidelines, she attempted to move the chair elsewhere. She asked the pharmacist where she should put it. The pharmacist (a 30-something yr old Asian woman) told her that it goes between the two gentlemen. The elderly woman put the chair back then stood to wait elsewhere. Humanity is so disappointing.

If you try to drop of any packages for fedex it takes for ever unfortunately I couldn’t go to the pack ship mailbox around the corner to do the drop of because this return had a QR code so I had to do it here the employees literally make you run around to find the place and then you have wait in their huge line the whole process took 30 minutes

ANJALI had one job, print and cut an 11x14 photo that could fit into a frame, photo wasn’t even cut properly to fit the frame not everyone has a guillotine paper trimmer laying around Anjali… could you be more incompetent?

I went to ask for a mask at the counter when I went to purchase my items. And was directed downstairs where I was informed that I would be provided a free mask. And upon arriving at the pharmacist (who are usually warm and inviting at other Walgreens establishments.) I ran into a team member who seemed to be having a bad day and wanted to project her racial biases. Me. Li Shan Chen was the rudest employee I have ever encountered at a Duane reade. When I asked her for a mask (after being instructed to go to the pharmacy for a free one after my initial transaction) she told me I shouldve already had a mask. And I thought that was a really terrible thing to say. Considering we are in the middle of a worldwide pandemic. It really left a bad taste in my mouth. But I wished her well. And went on with my day.

(aka Walgreens) Go elsewhere for your pharmacy needs. Pharmacist in charge is one of the worst in the area.

Very bad, always need to wait atleast 20 mins if you first person and always wait 1 hour your are in a queue. They are very very slow ....

Very disappointed,felt like I was being discriminated against.I walked into the store and went straight to the water aisle to pick up a few gallons of water before going home.After being alone in water aisle for less then two minutes,I hear the PA system say ”CUSTOMER SERVICE NEEDED IN THE WATER AISLE!” Seems like profiling and discrimination to me what do you think? I would give ZERO stars if I could. By the way if you haven’t figured it out yet I’m black.

Very unprofessional pharmacist works here ...They dont know how to operate a basic blood glucose machine ... when asked they are ignoring to use and when forced they wasted a strip and said we have to use in that way which is not at all acceptable .... please hire someone who have some basic knowledge and can treat their customers properly ... I am not going to come here back for any pharmacy needs.. its better to go to rite aid....

5 stars in stock, 2 stars in customer service. The pharmacists arent very friendly. They talk in their own esoteric terminology, ignoring that its not understandable to customers. When we ask more than 2 questions, we receive cold irritation. An attitude revision is needed. Else Id be most happy to get my medication elsewhere.

Unprofessional staff, very rude cashiers and nighy staff. Theirs nothing in stock in the freezer section and the baking section. One time I bought pre packaged turkey and it had slime in it I live to far to return. No one rotates items.

Extremely unprofessional.Called in multiple times beforehand to find out timings of the photo section which they said was open till 9pm. When I arrived at 5pm they said it was closed.Had to haggle to actually get my work done!

Saturday morning, lower level entrance door closed. Take Paths escalator up, go in and then down to get your stuff, no shopping cart, no register open, back upstairs to pay carrying big things on your hands. Take the dirtiest elevator ever. Finally at the register Me: Excuse me, what time does the lower level door opens?, Cashier: I dont know.

Im here almost everyday the staff its very welcoming and helpful. Unfortunately what makes it bad its all the people that are always sitting outside or wondering around the store which in reality theres not much the employees can do. They always have all the products in stock in the event they sell out of something they help you right away to check if they have more or offer you a different product.

Its Duane Reade. Its fine. The staff is always courteous and the store is clean. There will be lines at rush hour. The prices are way higher than Target, Shop Rite, Walmart, et al though. The sale specials always seem good but a lot of the time, its for a smaller size product - you can get a larger size of the same for less, elsewhere. But thats just the chain in general, and they get away with it because of store convenience for commuters/locals without cars. A lot of the store brand items are good.

Excellent pharmacists and staff at the Path Plaza store -friendly and knowledgeable-only downsides are the customers who treat them like clerks and not medical professionalsHaving over 3 major issues and over 12 different meds refilled a month they are experts at what meds should and shouldn’t go together and let doctors know when there are issues

I wish they would update their store hours on their door. It is 20 degrees outside and I just walked there hoping to pickup some items before the storm blew in. It is 7:30 pm and they are closed. I thought this was a 24 hour store because when I called Christmas Eve I was advised the store is open 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Please advise your customers correctly.

Lower Level staff were extremely rude today. No hello no thank you or any type of basic manners at the register.

I ordered a wooden panel. And when I reached there to pick up, they said, only one person knows how to do it and they didnt help me out at all. This location should train the staff properly. Its ridiculous., when a birthday gift is delayed.Staff also didnt bother to call the technician and get the job done.I am not planning to place any orders further.

The pharmacy staff is less than competent. I hesitate to get anything filled here anymore, as scripts will be sent electronically and they say they were never received, consistently. OR better yet, the script will be made and ready, but unless you ask them to double check the bin they already looked through, the employee insists they arent there. Line for checkout is always enormously long and checkout staff is sloooow as molasses. I always spend 40 min here just to pick up a script or buy one emergency item Avoid.HOWEVER THEY DO have great sales on CEREAL! Super cheap...Thats why they get 2 stars

They make their own pharmacy hours. I went there 6:45 because they close at 7pm everything is already closed. They need to state that on the website.

Store is supposedly 24 hours, but randomly closes at 6pm on weekends. Some staff is friendly, but most are too busy goofing around to be helpful. Store is usually in disarray and various fridges never work or are never stocked.

If I would have zero stars as review. I would have given that. No respect to customers. When we requested to swap the medicine which is expiring in 6 months to 2019.They are not ready.They said it will be like a return and they will reduce the money if I would like to swao with same brand and same price item. Medicine was 26 dollars and not 1 or 2 dollars to just ignore. Even after discussion same thing..He dont want to mess up with inventory . He dont bother about our problem. Better i wont even purchase anything from jsq Duane Reade. Horrible store to buy.

I used to shop here on a regular basis. It is conveniently located in the PATH plaza that I use daily. They lost my business when I began to notice that the security guard would repeatedly follow me around the store every time I went in there; like I was a common criminal. I am a middle aged, hard working professional, who has never broken the law in my entire life! Do I need this kind of racial profiling?! I now emphatically refuse to spend my hard earned finances in such an establishment that treats me with this kind of disrespect. The management at this location need to always remember that they are “out of business” without customers.

This store has gone to the pits. i have made several complaints about expired food and have gone back a week later to still see the food on shelves. i have brought it to the attention of the store managers and cashiers and it seems they dont care. FYI. they have a policy in place food must be taken off shelves withing 2 months of it expiring so to see something there a month - 2 months after it has expired is disgraceful!!!they refuse to answer the phone no matter at what time you call. and if you call them on it in person they always say they are having problems with their phone system. this has been going on for over 9 months now. at this point i will be calling the health department on them.

Racist manager twice falsely accused me of shoplifting (perfume, then Neosporin) even though I’d been shopping there for several years. Ironic, because I once saw a man walk out of the store with a water without paying for it. The employees didn’t do anything about it.

The worst DR I’ve ever been in. The pharmacy here is so slow and unorganized. Expect a wait of at least 30+ mins for simply just picking something up. Printer broke down for a form needed to get a Covid Vaccine and it took them an hour to get it fixed. Avoid this location at all costs.
