Shower is terrible, no soap in both dispensers while it said shower is ready I do like pilot flying J.But at this particular location this quite often to happen even before the pandemic so we dont Plame that.This location deserve not more than 2.8 stars I have no idea how 3.8 stars.While in the shower wet I did open door called no body answer I did call through my phone nobody answer i knocked on the door still no respond I think immagin if someone would have serious issue and call for help!!!They wont respond at all. Totally incredible until another person came from next shower to assist.JOE was the manager he came after some time bring 3 bar soap and apologize. That doesnt solve the problem when it continuously happening.

The store is alright. Brightly lit and clean. The staff and the outside are deplorable. They sit around and chat while thongs can be done. The Reserved Parking is a joke unless youre bobtail because of the huge dumpster and the bobtails parked against the scale. No room with a trailer. The trash cans are literally overflowing with trash. And that is spilling out into the parking lot. Dirty place.

This is a small Pilot. Normally when I have to stay here they are Oregon’s about keeping up with showers and taking care of their business. This morning as I always do I reserved my shower through the app after about thirty minutes of it not telling me that my shower was ready I went inside to check and see what was going on. This usually means there is a problem with the showers. I walk in the store where there are two people behind the counter just standing around. I inquire about the shower status and one says yeah they are working. He sad there were three available. The problem was that he was too lazy to clean them. While I’m standing there he decides to clean all of them instead of getting one ready and letting me in he made me wait for him to do his job that he should have already done

This is one of the worst Pilots Ive been to. The managers have no control over nothing and he doesnt even wear a face mask when he supposed to. All I got to say is they better get a grip on it because this place is going downhill and a quick hurry Im not going to tolerate the rudeness. Especially during driver Appreciation Week. They dont appreciate their drivers showers are filthy the bathrooms are filthy the food isnt cooked thoroughly pizzas Raw. I am done going here bought chocolate milk and it was chunky and warm. Never never stopping again the worst Ive ever seen a pilot. In the other ones arent much better theyre all going downhill and they cant get a grip on their employees to do what theyre supposed to do and not what they want to do.

Parking is 20 bucks for reserved and they got a trash dumpster and bobtail trucks in the way of parking. Arby’s was closed? Really.. inside of store around drink area was trashy.... wish they would build a Loves in this location

This used to be one of my favorite places to go for a Chicken tender salad. I would go every night around midnight For the last Few months there is never any available. Its exactly 30 minute round trip from my work so when I go and get there and they are completely out I go without a lunch.

The employees arent so bad, but the management is extraordinarily lazy and inefficient.

They dont let you use the coffee maker, and thers no hot water nozzle. What if we dont want that Yumm Ym Donot coffee, or to wait in a line to get some hot water from them??? This is a GMO headquarters. Not one thing in this store is healthy at all. A casino and huge liquor area??? Your definitely trying to kill people here. Avoid this place at all costs. Unless you want cancer, high blood pressure, diabetes, etc.

Place is a joke been in multiple times for the last 2 months they state they have breakfast sandwiches Ive been here @5am, 6ish am, 7am, currently 8am, and been here days at 9to10am never have any breakfast stuff out today they had chicken out already and 3 pizzas none they breakfast pizza and again currently 8amI would give this place a negative star if I could mens bathroom always seems flooded at the urinals good luck if they have soap out or papertowels

Nice new truck stop. Good for fueling. But it’s kinda small and tends to fill up early. There’s also some decent food and parking spots at the truck stop across the street. There’s the intermodal center nearby, so there’s a lot of 24/7 truck traffic here.

Its now 3:26 am Central Time and around 3 a.m. I went inside to get my coffee and breakfast and three out of four coffee machines where empty they needed attending to and no one was paying attention to us customers waiting for coffee but they were having a good time gossiping and carrying on ridiculous conversations while I was standing since one of the coffee machine I waved towards the front they looked at me like if I was a ghost nobody pay attention to me I put the time of the incident and now Im going to give you the date of the incident this way you can direct your concern so this entire crew of the cashier area today is December 12 2018 the incident took place and its probably still going on at 3 am... Following Im going to include pictures just one small area where I am parked word seriously needs cleaning up any dirtier and you would start getting fined because its really starting to look like a garbage dump...

BE AWARE Truck drivers!!!This place will kick you out of the parking because it is reserved parking!!! One guy came at 12:30am and said it is reserved parking spot. But there was not letter saying that it’s for reserve. I said ok I did not know and will pay he said no the spot already paid and other driver was waiting.I will say to manager who is in charge this business location “hey man mark your location as reserved spot so we know for future” !!!Will not spend any cent and stop at this location any more ! ! !

After parking and being in sleeper they woke me up and said I was in a reserved spot. When I parked there was no signage or paint markings. I think they sell spots even if they are not reserved spaces and make drivers move just to get money. Earlier in the day a guy came out and moved trucks in the first three spots and he didnt say a word to me when I was standing outside my truck. Now they are saying the first 15 spots are reserved. Do yourself a favor and go across the street. Dont even bother with this Pilot. Theyre on the take.

Pretty simple, but the newer open style Pilot with an Arbys inside. Diesel $3.239/gallon BIO20. Smaller, L shaped lot that isnt completely overrun with paid parking spots marked on the pavement. 2 washers, 4 dryers? Why not 3 & 3? I dunno. Almost done with wash cycle (30 minutes). Dryer cycle is set at 60 minutes but you can adjust it up or down. Wash cycle seemed to be mostly spin, rather than wash and rinse but 2 Tide pods had things smelling alright. Since the default dryer cycle is 60 minutes I guess they do need twice as many. How about that. Friendly staff. Clean mens room. Pizza and hot bar available, if youre not into Arbys. And they offer 4 handicapable showers.

Unless you shower in the morning before 6 am be prepared for a 2 hour shower wait time all day long. Unbelievably slow.

This 5 star review is for the worker/manager Christine. She is one of the hardest/nicest workers I have ever encountered in a gas station. She always goes out of her way to make mine and my wifes experience a good one! She deserves a raise or at least a vacation since she is there it seems every day all day. Today October 26 2020 about 8:20 am I was waiting for my husband to pick me up I bought some Dunkin’ Donuts and some candy at front I left my wallet somewhere there after I pay and went out come back like 5 minutes later looking for my wallet was gone and I ask the workers at front they said they didn’t see it I was walking out one of then come out saying it was in the bathroom went I was never in the bathroom after I pay what I bought. Yes I did went in the bathroom but was before I bought anything so I got my wallet back but my money was gone 😡I knew they were lying!!!!

The lady working at the register is super friendly. I say lady (singular) because management is dumb as hell and only schedules one person to work mornings when half the drivers are coming in to get a shower. So you either have drivers lined up waiting on showers, or you have customers lined up at the counter. This is management that truly doesnt care about their customers

They have a great variety of food, the bathrooms are clean and the ladies are nice.(disclaimer): I say ladies because thats all Ive seen/spoken to behind the register. I really love their PJ Fresh selections. As a truck driver, we dont always get the opportunity to grab something healthy on the road. So, I really appreciate those options.

This is the best Pilot ever. Being out here 15 years I know what is good. I had a reserve spot because it is a medium and I would be in late. I had no problem with my spot AND when I got up in the morning there were NO trucks parked on the side of the scale to make it impossible to get out! I have never had that happen! Always have to struggle to get out or try to get them to move and you know they wont even come to the door! I know what a task it is to keep that area clear and most dont even try so, I applaud you Pilot! And am so very grateful. I wish they had 100 stars! Keep up the great work...it is not unappreciated!

Been coming here for the last two years every other day. I like it’s location. They have wonderful employees. Credit goes to one amazing african-American lady who go extra miles! to help the customers. Pilot company must recognize that girl and keep her forever ! This place is super busy most of the time because of its strategic location.

Very clean facilities and nice new feel to it. Doesn’t have a run down feel like most truck stops in the area. Managing a fleet of about 10 trucks, I always send my guys here for fuel. It’s quick, easy access, and they can get right on 55 or 80. Just wish they had more pumps! The staff acts like they want to be here which is refreshing!

Good as far as newer Pilots go. Good food but kinda small on the parking side. As far as showers go...... For the area and amount of truck traffic, only having 4 showers is a big downside. On average expect to wait up to 2 hours anytime after 1400. Been waiting for 2 hours now just like every other time Im here.

God their food is so good. Got 2 slices of pizza for $5 which lasts me 2 meals. Also everything is made fresh. meant for truckers so if youre just a normal guy dont mind the raging sounds of trucks outside.

Just like the manager here in Joliet, she is an awesome manager. Young, smart....knows a bit about area and truck part places and when she has a limited crew.......like less than 4,, she isnt afraid to do cashier,maintenance, customer help,cook food and make sure she does the very best she can. And then people slam the truckstop about conditions. And still deal with about 3 to 400 dricers a day! And still smile, come to work and do it all over! They never see the whole picture just what happened at thier moment. I think the new Professional driver brought most of it to this industry! Then they put a bad review of facility. My example is the Pilot in Joliet Il.

On my way out after taking a shower Im being approached by one your employees asking for a tip! That is not cool. I dont know what theyre being paid here but its not my responsibility to pay your employees. Im fueling hundreds of gallons of fuel every month so Im doing my share!!

Ok we have been here 2 days and the pictures I’m adding says it all....garbage hasn’t been emptied in at least that time and behind the trucks there are pee jugs garbage a lot of it. The drivers shouldn’t be doing that but it’s the responsibility of the business to keep things clean...showers have black mold and were not clean and went to do laundry and none of them are working....in the years my husband has been driving and the over 2 years I have been in the truck Pilot/Flying J has gone so far down hill. They need to make sure their stores have proper employees meaning enough so that the property can be taken care of properly.

It has clean bathrooms and fresh baked cinnabuns. Its a truck stop off the expressway. Lots of traffic. Various types of hot and cold food.

Very busy Pilot. Its not a terrible stop; tight parking all around front & back. What they need help with is staffing. Arbys employee was nice but 2 on staff during dinnertime just doesnt work. 1 person working on weekday mornings causes hostility with customers - employee was nice though. The Pilot food choices are lax due to large amount of customers - anything put out gets wiped out fast.Too many customers & not enough employees.

Paid for reserve parking and manager came out asked us to move and instead of refunding us kept on trying to give me a free meal until I kept saying I want a refund and there was 15 bobtails in spots for full trucks and trailers that he didnt ask to move so because of this location pilot and flying j lost a customer thats been coming since 2013

Showers are always waiting to get cleaned. When they say 52 parking spots they are counting car and truck spots. Call before going or you will have to find another parking spot.

Been waiting for a shower for almost an hour now. 3 showers unoccupied and 1 occupied. No one cleaning them. Everyone standing around or pretending to be busy

Five stars for Pilot.... 0 stars for Arbys we order breakfast croissants with bacon and cheese flatter then pancake. And when we took it back the manager (Amber) that made it said whats wrong with it. Had a nice smile on her face till she seen me taking pictures of it.

Well lit lot, decent fuel pumps, friendly staff, great food and drink selection but beware when buying any 12 pack of soda here because theyre ALWAYS expired. Have gotten a few refunds over the past 2 years for this. Packages are dated in some screwy julian date code you cant figure out, so you dont know its old flat soda til you open one of the cans. They really need to get on their local vendor for this.

Great place to stop. Everything you need at one place. To much to see if you are in a hurry. Whether traveling by car or semi they have it.

My wife said bathroom was completely nasty, three women at register All talking, she attempted to get gas, saying I need $45 on pump 3 and they all three stood there looking at each other, she had to say are one of you going to ring me up? Finally one spoke up with attitude in her voice, I myself had parked my rig there for the night, waiting two hours for a shower at noon, they failed to announce The rooms were ready, and after 35 mins of announcing shower 3 was ready they moved on to give me the room how ever there were two other rooms that had been empty but needed cleaned the whole time, when I got in the room the shower had green slime growing on the back corner wall And looked like it needed a hell of a scrubbing, the Tolet was nasty when I lifted lid to pee, will not be showering there anytime soon again very disappointed

The place is clean. I never have to wait long in lines I am in and out. Plus there gas prices are almost always the lowest around which is the reason why I get gas here. It is on a busy corner but the way they have the entrance and exit set up it is super easy to get back into traffic.

I stop by here every few days as I run Joliet to California back and forth. They never clean more than 1 shower. Shower 1 is what they use. There will be 8 or 9 drivers in line and they will clean shower 1, wait for a driver to finish his shower, clean shower 1 and keep repeating the process. You will wait 2 hours for a shower if theres people ahead of you. And the guy thats supposed to be cleaning them is just standing around. Im really not sure how they can keep running things like this. Its ridiculous.

I figured I go early in the morning and get a shower when its not busy and all the doors were open no one was cleaning them like most drivers they dont shut the doors let them know that shower needs to be cleaned I asked about it and well get to it when we get to it the attitude of working nowadays sucks and I think Im being generous about give you three stars

Never any parking. They really could have made the parking lot bigger. Other than that, I love the employees. They are friends and fast.

Updated and Edited: Dont get me wrong, I dont want to discourage anyone from doing business here. I havent been there in over a month but this was my experience. I go in there at random times now as where it was 5xs a week. I happened to come there after they had a visit one day and the corporate/owner was there. They were leaving and one of them had a birthday. The owner wasnt cordial at all! He gave me one of the dirtiest looks! I think his name was Kevin, if I am not mistaken. (Old) certain ones started treating me funny and I didnt like the change in the attitudes or atmosphere! They hire anybody seems like and then those people they hire only have a select favorite customer they want to wait on and have me standing there looking like a plum fool. It gets really busy near the time of day I go and then the lines start getting full because its a rush! Certain employees do their best to try not to wait on me so theyll take longer with one customer and then when somebody else FEELS like helping me then I can finally pay for my stuff! They hold up the line by doing that and its just wrong so I let Corporate know about it! They may not do it to everyone else but they may just treat me like that! I dont know what I did to make them treat me that way and Im in there spending my money! I hope it gets fixed soon after calling corporate! Been there and done that before and Ive been in customer service d**n near 30 years!

3rd time here this week and its been equally disappointing. The arbys is poorly run, my 11$ meal was garbage again. I can write a list of all the issues with this stop but we all know its pointless. Pilot flying j is getting ridiculous. As much money as they make everyday off truck drivers we should be treated much better.

Im disappointed in the condition of the property, full of garbage, I know drivers are property friendly these days but garbage cans can be emptied out and garbage should be picked up on a regular basis. Doesnt appear this has been done here in a lifetime sorry it was just that bad.

PJ Fresh was not fresh. Got chicken wings that mustve been there all day and they were cold.

Its one of the busiest Pilots Ive been to in a while. Truck parking fills up quick. It has an average amount of truck parking and provides a separate Bob-tail parking area with about 20 spaces for Bob-tails. Its in a busy industrial area as well, which probably causes the quick fill up and running out of all parking spaces.

Cannot use a debit card at the pump. Have to go in and select a dollar amount to prepay. To fill up, you select a high dollar amount and hope they refund the balance. Unorthodox for a new station. Inconvenient as well.

This pilot is clean all around showers,bathrooms laundry facilitys have everything you need. The staff are friendly and help with no attitude,do not make the mistake and go to 66 food fuel across the street. There is no comparison on service you will get, made the mistake never again wasting my time and hard earned money. The 66 food and fuel are not consistent in clean facilitys to say the least,they are beyond arrogant when it comes to service. The same arrogance flows into the pops beef experience food is not that good non consistent as well almost along the lines you get what we give you like it or not. I gave it a shot several times as a professional driver just the way they run their business,dont waste your time and hard earned money make sure you visit PILOT always consistent never dissatisfied

Service really slow at Arbys. Store was good,showers clean. Only 4 showers,usually a wait but they try to keep up. Parking is premium, lots of locals park here,lots of warehouses nearby

Got the positive of hot food but the arbys is supposed to be 24 hour they have become a joke are they even still open. I drive 45 miles each way this is my last resort for food on the way to work. While the staff at the gas station are nice and try to be fast they have to much to deal with. Why are they trying to run the gas station and cook food/ sell it and keep the place clean.

Tried to get arbys for dinner at 1 in the morning but cashier informed me he was on break. As I walked away he said he would be off break in 10 minutes. I dont have time for games. I went back to my vehicle got a microwave dinner and went back in. While I was waiting my 4 minutes for my own food to cook the cashier and some women started laughing about him getting back on the clock and started looking and laughing at me. He waited till the female left to ask if I wanted something. No I dont need a day thing from a lazy punk like you. Great job costing your company money.
