I had the best customer service experience here at Home Depot today. I had purchased a new lawn mower a little while ago when I bought my first house. The lawn mower had given me nothing short of trouble despite a multitude of positive reviews I read before I purchased it. I got a lemon. I finally recognized if it had problems now, it is only going to continue to get worse for me over the years. So I brought it in and the ladys at the returns desk were able to help me out. The men at the tool rental (Bob, Doug, and Mark) were able to assist as well with renting a truck to fit the mower and helping return it. I worried that I was too late and am so grateful to have been able to exchange it. Everyone was nothing short of kind and helpful. As a new homeowner, Im a frequent visitor of home improvement stores, and I know Im going here.
Shelves were well stocked. Masks are encouraged, noticed only employees and I were wearing them at the time. Staff were friendly and efficient. Aisles were tidy and floor uncluttered. Overall a nice visit.
Horrible customer service!!! Purchased flooring for $2,000 and was told it would be in the store in about a week. 2 weeks later was told sorry youll just have to keep calling back our next truck comes in a few days. Fast forward 1 month still no flooring ask to speak to a manager twice to be told sorry theres not one available. Beyond frustrated and the apathetic attitude is only making it worse! Weve been loyal to home depot for 20 years and no one can assist us??? Hello Lowes....

Bought a Werner ladder. Drove 30 minutes to the job site, pulled it out and it was twisted on the bottom feet. Drove back, was going to exchange for the exact same one, but it was mangled on the shelf. They comped me a $140.00 ladder for the price of my original. I saved $60.00. Pretty sweet deal. Great customer service.
Always go there for Ecosmart Led Daylight light bulbs. Best bulbs. Have about every bulb in house switched over. Bought these to give away so someone else can enjoy. Probably will never need to change. Ive never had one burn out and the light from the daylight bulbs is great. Have them in recessed lights, lamps, ceiling fans and regular ceiling lights. Have high ceilings so its great not worrying about needing to change them. Also they burn cool.
I wanted a pleated shade but their cutter is needing a part so couldnt get it. Bought the paint I need for my Moms new bedroom. The young lady who mixed my paint was very helpful.

Been watching Tide on clearance for 3 weeks lower to below $5 each. There was one of the 4 types remaining after it went on clearance this am. When I scan on app it says item not found. Which is a indication its not in the system. Went thru the line. The cashier marked it down. Which a manager was required to approve since it did not scan correctly. I had photos of product on shelf as well at least 8 stickers that state it 4.83. The manager that came wont approve any request in several years even on product marked. I feel its personal. I requested to speak with store manager. She acted as if she didnt know what know who Jerry was when I ask for him. I also called Home Depot customer service number.
Tonight I visited the Joplin MO store with my husband to pick up a piece of wood. We needed it cut at the panel saw. No employees in site. Husband goes to service area by checkout for lumber and ask for help 2 times, myself 1, and no one came so we left. While waiting on someone to come we witnessed 2 employees having a scooter race up front, but no help anywhere in site for the saw. At least 15 min waiting and nada. We will go to Lowes until Home Depot hire staff.
Our experience was terrible. We had a new washer, dryer combo and new deep freezer picked out within 15 minutes of arriving. When we asked the nearest associate for assistance he called for help in appliance dept customer waiting, he continued stocking paint directly in front of us. 20 minutes later I asked if someone was coming, he replied they should be and continued stocking paint. 15 minutes later another associate walked by, I asked him can you help us We have 3 items picked out. He replied there are 2 people in appliances. Im not one of them, and walked away. 10 minutes later the the 2 appliance personnel showed up and asked out of the 5 groups of people waiting who was next... once he got to us we showed him the 3 items we wanted, he took us to his helper she quickly let us know everything was delivery only and nothing was in-stock until June. We asked nothing... are washer is broken, she said nothing, and we left. Went to Lowes and bought all 3 items with great customer service. In and out within 25 minutes. The only snag they had was trying to give us a 50 dollar credit discount at the register.
Terrible least helpful store Ive been in. Took and hour and a half to process my return and it got denied. Yes out of the $3,000 i spent on plumbing and electrical supplies got denied for $375, all still in the packages physical receipt present and digital receipt pulled up on there computers. Ill be going to Ace hardware, pearl brothers(5stars btw), or lowes from now on!!!!!
Staff provides great customer service by acknowledging you when they go by, check on you in the aisles and are friendly when checking you out.
It took forever for them to bring out my curbside pick up order. When they did bring it out they bought the wrong bulb and the clerk ARGUED with me about it and told me if I wanted to return it I would have to go inside. He was very rude. Got home and the trash can I picked up was filthy AND broken. Tried calling the store 6 times and no one would answer. I want to cancel my account and never shop there again. The worst customer service I have ever had. I would give them no stars if I could.
I like going to home Depot but theres a lot of times that you go in there and not one employee comes in ask if you need help I looked for what I was looking for for about 15 minutes and I was never approached by anyone employee Ill give him a five rating because I like home Depot but they need to get their stuff together and be willing you know dont dont climb all over people but at the same time make sure that theyre finding what theyre after

Ordered an online order yesterday received an email stating the order was ready. When we got to the store we waited an hour for the items to be brought to us. We spoke with several employees trying to figure out how long and when we would get our items. They were busy granted but that was really bad customer service this time. Ive always loved home depot because they normal get their job done. But this time they failed big time. Try controlling a four year old while they couldnt manage to keep up their end. Bad experience.

My husband went in to get a bolt for our kitchen sink and when he was finally able to get someone to help him find the right one they said they would get him someone to help him, that help never came and the employee went and helped several other customers instead, walking by him each time without acknowledging him again.

Very friendly employees. The problem is that they all seem to congregate in the front of the store. I have been remodeling my house and have went there many times in the past month and I ALWAYS have to go to the front of the store to get help if I need it. The electrical and plumbing selection is poor compared to Lowes. Good service when you can find it for the most part. Need to update the easy find display for moulding. I needed the E33 white trim board but couldnt find it.

I traveled 15 miles to purchase a advertised special. They had no inventory available although several stacks of the same tool were sitting right there. I asked for the manager on duty, who arrived 43 minutes later. The manager then proceeded to tell me the tool in the ad was specifically made for the sale (no disclosure in the ad it was not the same product normally under the brand and model name) The manager refused to sell the same product from regular inventory. I see this as modern bait and switch advertising. I latter purchase the tool from inventory, and compared with the special purchase)tool. When disassembled I found differences in internal parts materials. Caveat emptor

They had exactly what I needed
Had to replace Natural Gas range and someone who could remove the old one, install the new one, discard the old. After some product and price shopping found Home Depot was $25 cheaper including delivery, install, removal of old one. Lowes wanted to add about $200 to the range price and make us wait 2 weeks for soonest install.

However the kids all seem to,group up an hard to find a helper . maybe on Saturdays an Sundays have a few more workers to help the disabled an regular constumers at your store . Where. We live your store is awesome but seriously all the country folks come to town on weekends dues to long work schedules. Not your fault but just telling our populations goes from 50 some odd thousand at least 120 thousand on Saturdays. . Everyones coming to town to get supplies . Just my opinion . I do love your store an all the employees when we can find one. Make sense . maybe on Saturdays have a few more employees an watch your business thrive even more . Hard to find good help. Employee age 45-50 was more interested in conversation with friends than helping me find the plywood I was hunting. Went across the street to another big box store. In and out in record time with faster help and payed less than what I was looking for at home depot.

I used to always shop at lowes cause they where just a tiny bit cheaper but they have horrible customer service so I decided to go to home depot because lowes didnt have the shelving I was looking for. Not only did home dept have it they help me with getting all the supplies for my project. I was stunned on how knowledgeable the crew where and I didnt have to spend 45 mins of my time looking for an employee to help answer my questions. I was so impressed that now I only shop there I dont need the headache from lowes nor do I have time to run around trying to find someone to help me. So in my opinion its definitely worth a few more cents. Thank you home depot keep up the great job

Home Depots are all about the same, wherever you go. Clean and organized, but customer service was a bit spotty. Took a good half hour to get someone to cut lumber for us, even after asking three separate people who then called someone.
Im not very happy with the tool rental guys. They charged me a cleaning fee on a buffer that was barely even dirty. 25 bucks to wipe it off with a rag. Any excuse to charge more! Bad for business.
