This place is quite impressive. Matt has really come a long way to provide some of the best service for European sports car enthusiasts. His place is clean. The showcases are eye catching. Im sure this place will, in the future, be known as one if the greatest places in Joplin, to have your Porsche, BMW, Audi or VW, tuned, tested to the customers satisfaction. Cant say enough about how impressive this place is. Its even cool just to walk around the lobby!

Whats not to love? If youre from the area, and you go elsewhere with your german vehicle, you dun goofed.

What a phenomenal experience! I stopped by their shop and noticed I was missing a caliper bolt and fixed it immediately.

Wish i could give 10 stars cause this place deserves it! Matt is top notch when it comes to customer service. This past weekend, he and a fellow co-worker of his hosted me and a group of friends for a weekend dyno day, and it was amazing! Great people and great times were had and i cant thank Matt and his group enough.

Took my step-daughter’s Volkswagen Passat Diesel to them because three other mechanics could not diagnose why the car’s check engine light was on. They diagnosed the problem within an hour and told us to take it to the VW dealership because it was under warranty. So nice to deal with and honest and capable shop.

Just had a timing service performed at PHP on my Mk5 GTI and I am extremely satisfied! Price was good, quality of the workmanship excellent and the customer service outstanding! Matt took the time to talk to me about my car and they addressed a couple other issues( cel and exhaust rattle) at no extra charge and gave me a comprehensive list of what else needed attention. Well worth the hour plus drive. Thank you! I usually try to do my own wrenching, but when repairs are out of my league I know where Ill be going. I will be returning soon to sort out some other issues. 5 stars!

Wanted to charge me $1300 for 4 hours of labor.

Very clean shop run by enthusiasts. I drove up from Tulsa to have some performance modifications installed on my Audi. There was an issue with some missing parts. The issue was not PHPs fault, but they did the right thing and took care of it anyway. Rare to find this level of quality and service... I wont take my car anywhere else now.

Absolute professionals! The process or working with the guys here was outstanding from the first phone call, to driving away happy. I drove 4 hours to have them perform work on my Golf R, based on word of mouth. They treat you and your vehicle right, keeping you involved in the process as they perform the modifications. I live in St Louis and have been to many performance shops over the years, but none can compare to this hidden gem located in Joplin Missouri. The 4 hour drive was totally worth it and I plan on making several trips in the future as it is hard to find service this good. Matt is extremely knowledgeable, friendly and makes sure the job is done right the first time. You can tell he actually cares and values your time and business. He explained everything upon my arrival, showing the parts to be installed on my car and explaining in detail how everything works. He does not try to upsell you on parts or labor, has very fair prices and the attention to detail is second to none. The shop itself is gorgeous, clean and full of modern, state of the art equipment. They have a very nice waiting area and offer you a ride to any nearby hotel or business to kill time while they work on your car. They are a very busy shop but you would never know because Matt makes you and your vehicle a top priority. I couldnt possibly be more pleased with PHP, they are truly world class. This is a sharp shop to get your German car’s oil changed. These guys do it right. Plus, plus they have nice products for your car too. They need one in Mt Juliet, TN outside of Nashville, TN. We don’t have anything nice like this.

Ive been going to Matt and his team since I moved here mid 2017. Always courteous, professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. I prefer PHP over dealerships. You cant ask for better pricing, and yes they are quick about getting your vehicle in and out. They work hard for your business. When I had a recall, or two on my BMW, I would have taken it to PHP over there dealership if I could have. If youve never been, go give PHP a try.

I first stumbled upon these guys back in 2012 when I got my first VW. Wasnt big in to the car scene at the time so I was looking for a shop to trust and they came through for me. Ive had the car for 7 years now and they are the only people aside from myself who have worked on it. They run a very honorable business. They have always treated me very well and helped answer my questions even if it didnt entail more money in their pockets. I will continue to give them my business as long as I can... Even though they are a solid 2+ hour drive from my home.

Great service and really like the updates in the new location. I’ve been taking my VW to Matt for 4 years and have always been treated kindly and the car serviced quickly. Matt and Dennis both take the time to explain any issues or concerns they have found and ask if there is anything else that you have concerns with. Matt and his crew are very professional, extremely helpful, and quite knowledgeable. Ive taken my GTI to them twice now and they have been so helpful and have done a great job on getting my car patched up and keeping her running like a champ. They have answered all my questions, helped me pick the right parts, and helped me get the best deal they could get me. I live in Rogers, AR and will travel an hour just to take my Volkswagen to them over taking it to any dealership any time. Their work quality is three times better than any dealership and at half the cost. My car getting treated well and great customer service is far worth the drive. When I discussed with Matt how to sharpen the handling characteristics of my 2017 S6 based on my driving habits, he recommended upgrading the rear sway bar and attachment hardware as a starting point. I had the service done today and the process was flawless - good price and very timely. Before they started the work, Matt took me out to the shop and showed me the items to be installed and explained what the upgrades were and what they would do. Great job by Matt and his crew.

The guys at PHP are always so helpful. I have two BMWs, they have only worked on one so far, but they will soon be seeing my other one as well. They know what they are talking about and get the job done. They are honest about all possible issues that might be occurring and prepare you for issues they have seen your make/model have in the past. This guys are awesome, ranked the 5 starts for promptness, professionalism and good pricing. I took my brand new RS3 to get some mods and I am very please with their communication and work. Did I somehow wind up in Germany? These guys are fantastic, I usually wrench my own car but ran into a nest of problems putting a clutch/flywheel in my B5 S4. Matt is awesome to work with. Went down for a spring installation. Sat in the lobby and watched Top Gear on their TV. The quality of work that HVW provides is hard to find...this is why the drive is worth it. Got my springs installed, aligned the car, and bought some coolant. Excellent experience. 5 stars all around.

After hearing nothing but good things about House of VW I decided to drive 2.5 hours to have my car worked on. I can say that it was one of the best choices I have made since I bought my car. Matt and his crew are some of the most knowledgeable people when it comes to these types of cars. Everyone that works there is friendly and will answer any question you have...even if you ask 300 of them. I have had a lot of bad luck with work done on my car in the past and Matt made sure that I was well taken care of this time. The crew here takes pride in their work and it shows. Next week I will be upgrading to a K04 and there is no doubt in my mind that it will be done the right way here. 2.5 hours is defiantly worth the drive to get quality service. I wanted to take the time and write a review for HOVW! I took my 2011 Audi S4 in to see Matt and Co. after the Tulsa Audi dealership misdiagnosed a power steering pump issue as a Supercharger problem. The difference was $4500.00!! I can say that, without question, Matt and his staff are not only VERY knowledgeable, but they are honest people. Their work is top quality! This is especially true if you run any sort of performance products over and above stock. They are an APR authorized dealer. So that in and of itself speaks volumes! Dennis returns my calls within minutes if he misses my call, and is very explanatory in layman terms on diagnosing the issues w the VW bug we have... Ok so I was looking into getting a tune for my car, after asking around I decided on JHMotorsports and found the only dealer near me. (3 hour drive) I sent them a message on Facebook and received a response in about 10 mins. We discussed my needs as I’m not terribly knowledgeable on tunes. With their input I decided to head down. They even accepted PayPal as a forum of payment. We arrived earlier than my appointment and they got me right in. As I traveled far I hung out at the shop. They have an amazing lounge to occupy your time. After I got my car back I got in a noticed they had wait for it... Detailed my car for free and found out they even checked my fluids and topped them off for free.. great shop that genuinely makes you feel valued. 10/10 will take that road trip again.
