Just wanted to give a shout out to the guys at JM&A, it was one of the best family experiences we’ve EVER had. The folks there were super knowledgeable, friendly beyond belief and the facility was absolutely beautiful. We were all basically beginners and they walked us through each step of the process, making us feel as safe and comfortable as one can when handling a firearm for the first time. Our kids were coached and made to feel comfortable. I can’t believe how much fun we had. I highly recommend this place!!!

Were visitors from a cruise. It was a little far from the boat doc but my wife set up for me to use their range for an hour. I got to shoot a bunch of different guns including some fully automatic. It was a great experience. The workers were very friendly and helpful. They seemed knowledgeable about firearms.

So far I’ve had an amazing experience with there customer service compared to a local gun shop in Anchorage. Thank you!

WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND I was visiting Juneau on a cruise ship and found this place when I came into port. One of the Helicopter companies I had booked cancelled (not Coastal THEY ROCK) and was able to get dropped off here. Being from a country that doesnt allow automatic rentals the staff here were EXCEPTIONAL!! Not only did they take me through range safety but also took me through every firearm I was using that day on the range. After, they were able to guide me to the local bus that would take me back into town to my cruise ship (it only cost $2). This is a great experience for anyone from outside the US visiting Alaska and wanting to try a new experience.

My familys membership allows us time at the armory for indoor shooting and I personally continue to learn from the folks that run it. They are knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Im so glad we have this available to us in Juneau, and I hope we get more gun owners supporting it so it stays around.I took the gun safety class from Jeff. Great experience; everyone who owns a weapon should take it. I chose this class because it allows students to shoot a variety of handguns. As a result, I was introduced to handguns I would not normally consider shooting. I also learned more about the purpose of different types of handguns; something I had never really thought about.

Staff is extremely helpful and attentive. Range is clean and by all appearances maintained to strict heath standards [cleanliness, ventilation, and well maintained operating equipment].Inventory of handguns is a bit sparse; however, there is a good selection of Tier 1 weapons [SIG SAUER, GLOCK, S&W etc.].Will return for range time and recommend this range to other shooters in the Juneau area.

I came in casually to look at a new bear rifle and check out prices. I specifically was looking for a 300 win mag. The gentleman behind the counter obviously thought I didnt know squat about firearms and tried pushing some high end $2800+ barebones .338 lapua mag as the first option. Then the membership and indoor range was brought up and I kept saying I wasnt interested. Once he realized I wasnt going to buy the overpriced rifle and get the membership, I was pushed to the side and I sort of just left unsatisfied. There good selection of firearms, and the building is new and looks really nice inside and out. Everything is just way overpriced. Its unfortunate, but I would rather just shop online and save hundreds instead of shopping locally.

Edit. Ok love the friendly staff and the range. But got my mildly expensive glock hd night sights on and they were mangled. Looks like they used a balmine hammer to knock them in. Deep grooves smashed in. Kinda wish I did it myself
