Trusted, knowledgeable, experienced, capable, helpful and get the job done right. Just had complete overhaul completed on two Suzuki’s. Boat has never run this good! Highly recommend Lou, Arnold, and crew..Thank you, thank you, thank you!
I was able to find this service after a catastrophic failure pulling my boat on I-95 recently. After having the boat and trailer hauled on flat bed to Smilin Jacks, within two hours of dropping off, I had a call from Arnold whos team in the shop had diagnosed the problem, ordered parts, and begun repairs. I was expecting a month or more to be without my boat, but within a week I had returned to Jupiter, picked up the repaired boat and trailer, and was on my way.I cant say enough about the thorough evaluation, fair pricing, professional repair, and above all else- exceptional customer service. Its something these days most companies regardless of services provided give little regard for. For any future repairs or service, Ill make the two hour drive south and return here on trust alone. Many thanks to the whole team.
Love these guys. Catching the little details is what counts!
Total dueshbags, best way to get back at them is to never shop there. Dont waste your time.
Knowledge and experienced, fair and honest.
Smilin Jacks Marine is a phenomenal shop for boat repairs. My boat seems to always have an issue and each time I need to get it fixed, Smilin Jacks is there! They are easy to work with, have fair prices and always do excellent work. My boat needed some minor work done on the motor, and it was done right. I regularly take my boat there for service.
I would like to give a thumbs up to smiling jacks marine Lou and his crew go the extra mile to be sure the work they do on my boat and 2002 mercury motor which I still own in 2019. smiling jacks marine always wants to hear how they did to be sure that I am satisfied with the work they did thanks Lou.
My 2002 Bay Fisher needed annual maintenance performed on the engine. I found Smilin Jacks Marine on Google and figured I would call. Lou and his team were very helpful from start to finish and provided the proper recommendations for my boat. If you are in the need of a great boat maintenance shop in Jupiter call these guys.
Called to have initial service done on a pair of Yamahas with 40 hours on them. Was talked into “annual service” and discussed a price estimate of $2K on the phone vs $800 for the 40 hour service. Agreed to this. While it was there I requested interior and exterior detail and wax. They quoted me $1200 for a 28’ boat which was pretty high but since it was already out of water I agreed.Get the boat back and interior was definitely not detailed (still fish blood and mildew in several areas), boat is missing some parts, and my bill is >$3K for the service. By comparison Marine Connection is quoting $1798 for the exact same service. Then it gets worse. I have somebody come out to take a look as I’m concerned about the level of dishonesty at this point. Anodes I was billed for are not changed. Spark plugs I was billed for are (according to a mechanic who inspected) not changed. So there’s a no telling how much of the billed service was actually completed.Called Lou and he said he’d have the detailers come redo the interior and find my missing parts in their shop. Called again and left voicemail and have texted photos to him. Been 2 weeks and no reply so I’m reversing charges on my card.Sadly disappointed. I never mind paying more for good local service but dishonesty and gross over-billing need to disappear from this industry.
Lou is great. Not cheap but knows his stuff and runs a good shop.
These guys have always taken great care of my boat.
Very nice competent marine repair shop. Lots of experience. These guys have kept my boat running right for years and the prices are fair.
If you want it done right....
This place needs to be shut down and the management thrown in jail. They are liars and cheats. They say they do work that they do not and charge you for it. This didnt just happen to me but many, many others.Say away. Stay far, far awayPS> All of these other reviews are bogus
I feel I had been overcharged at smilin Jacks Marine as I went in for a fuse and he said it was a special fuse very expensive charged me $42 and then I found it on the internet for $12 so I feel like I cant trust him so now I will not bring my boat into him cuz no telling what he might do
Ok so I usually bring my boat to Saylors Marine which is 10000 times better than this con artist, I accidentally called Lou instead and it was the worst decision I ever made. He way over charged for a simple service, he broke my radio and blamed me and said I brought it in broke even while the mechanic said he was lying. He cursed me out, he threatened to hold my boat for cash payment even though I payed with w card, he is the reason why you get a good mechanic like Saylors Marine and not this con artist, stay away from him, he sucks
Extremely imperative to have an experienced marine mechanic in Jupiter, FL specializing in Verados.
Amazing!!! Knows his stuff
