Horrible customer service!! RICK needs a vacation, some time off or a leave of absence!!He needs to wear his mask and wear it properly!He was so rude, and verbally upset with his job!What’s up??? Maui is a small island and word travels fast!! Get a new job Rick!I’m sure if I wanted to purchase a new car, there attitude would of been different!!BEWARE IF RICK!!!

My car has been in the shop there since June, I’m still paying insurance on it and it is still not fixed. I have been borrowing cars and juggling with my husband for almost 5 months. I have been on site on 4 different occasions to follow up and this week they said they finally we’re going to start fixing one part of it, after standing there crying. The other part was quoted 2xs more than other places. I feel like this is completely unacceptable. I’ve tried to be nice and understand that they are short staffed, but this is ridiculous.

Great Service, Everything from making the appointment to getting my car service was perfect. My service manager was very professional in a friendly aloha manner. Everything was on time and done well. This type of service is what keeps me coming back to a business.

Me and my wife we’re looking for 6 months for a family size truck. We contacted Kaua’i, Honolulu, Maui, and even Big Island Chevy. We just couldn’t find what we were set out for. Until I got a text from Harrison Potter down at Jim Falk Motors from Maui 🙏🏽 He sent me via links of what they would be expecting to arrive in the coming month. A couple were not made for us and some built differently in a way that wasn’t pleasing to our eyes 👀He gave us plenty of options, as you would WANT in buying something this valuable. Never rushed us and kept me posted daily, sometimes even hourly 👌🏽 I decided fly up to maui to check out the truck fit for my ohana. He reserved it as sold and made sure it was just what we needed. And what do you know it, Harrison was willing to pick me up. Class act from this gentleman 📝Once I seen MY 2021 Black Silverado I knew it was for me. We took it for a test drive and then we proceeded to enter Jim Falk Motors to handle business. With in 1 hour and 45 minutes I was a new truck owner 😃 I also had some kokua from James Baylis Finance Manager, he created the perfect package with Harrison for me that made me feel confident in the decision I was making. Stress free, I felt like a champ leaving Maui grabbing me some Maui Mui treats and crispy creams on my way to the airport 🛫🛫Again mahalo to Harrison Potter for taking care of me. Definitely would request for this mans service also a LOCAL BOY, support local always 🤙🏽Aloha

On the 11th day of June 2021We purchased two cars from Jim Falk Motors of Maui Nissan.With the intention of using these cars on Turo.One of them had a recall problem and supposedly have already been fixed.In posting the car we kept getting a red flag.As it turns out this was due to the recall that has yet to be cleared.So, we contacted the sales rep Cici and explained the situation.She sent me a copy that proved that the service was correctly done.A week goes by and the red flag continues so again I reached out to Cici.This time I was to bring the car back to them at the service department so that they can certify that the recall was completed.So, I did just that on the 17th but nobody was there to do this.With the help of the service Mgr., we moved to get it done Friday the 18th.When I showed up, I was told that somebody was supposed to call me and let me know that I did not have to be there – for they have already done what was neededA good sign of communicationOn forward, the red flag via Turo continues.It’s the 29th of June and after talking to friends we were told that we have up to 14 days to return the car. This was new to us and we thought of doing just that if it’s possible.So, we called to let Cici know our plans and advised her that returning a car that was not moving for its purpose was the plan.Respectfully she said that she would consult her manager and get back to us.Shortly thereafter I received a call from Cici explaining that returning the car was not possible.I expected to hear that and so I submitted to her that our friends were very adamant that we had 14 days to return a car if not pleased with it. Then strongly a voice from the other end responded rudely explaining that we had signed the papers accepting the car as is and that what we are proposing is not possible giving me a lecture on what the rules and the laws are instead of hearing my concerns 1st and possibly help heal the problem.It’s been past 14 days, to begin with, and we were just very concerned that nothing is moving as we had intended it to do so.And if the serviceman correctly filed his report the day service was rendered, we would not have had to go through all this. The recall was completed on or before the 11th and I was still in your service department on the 18th this explains that somebody screwed up.And there really is no excuse for how the finance manager approached me about my problems.This would have been a different story if the manager was ready to help me with this problem than slam the door and telling me that this problem is now with me my lender.I could easily accept this coming from one with limited education.But from a manager? I question why?

I’m am happy with the car. The salesman was a really nice guy. While I was sitting with the salesman the financial manager came in and got into a loud argument with other associate with swearing, and saying things like “That’s not my job!” Umm... ok awkward... now I have to deal with this financial manager to finish the deal. There are so many small details but bottom line is that I was faced with an extensive amount of unprofessionalism and manipulation while trading in and financing my first car. Really wish I had gone some where else and I wish I had looked at the reviews of this place before buying. This guy is stereotypical dealership slime.

Sold me a truck in Jan, safety due in Feb. I live on the Big Island. I took the truck to 3 safety inspection locations...why? It didn’t pass the first two as the tires were toast. BTW I did ask the “online” salesman about the tires, “lots of meat”! Oh and they transferred the registration in my name, to Maui County. I sent a message to the “Salesman”, and he ghosted me. Can you give negative stars?

I purchased my current vehicle at this location and consistently return for service or any maintenance due. Ryan is the primary reason that I return. He is responsive, reliable, trustworthy, and honest. Also, I like to always give praise and compliments to Tony Uy, if he is still at Jim Falk Motors of Maui, who sold me my vehicle. I am thankful to him as well. The last three years of ownership of my Nissan Rogue has been absolutely free of any stress and worry! Thanks to everyone!

Terrible service and total lack of concern for keeping the customer apprised of the status of their vehicle when in for diagnosis and repair. Most dealers in the mainland value their customers and want their return business. Jim Falk doesnt seem to care. Their attitude is like, Hey, Im the only game in town, live with it. Stay away from GM and stay away from JF.

Make Sure You Get It In Writing!!! Let me start with the good. I love my truck. There’s the good. First off I’m not going to put up my salesman’s name or the finance managers name because I don’t get down like that. And in all honesty I like my salesman I’m just disappointed in him. To make a long story short I leased a vehicle and upon returning it made a deal for a truck. My deal was that all aspects of ending my lease would be covered by the dealership as part of my truck purchase. Essentially out with the old in with the new (clean slate). 8 months later I start receiving calls from Hyundai billing stating that I owe them a balance. I brought this to my salesman’s attention who informed the finance manager and I never heard back. After 3 weeks of no word I go in person to resolve the issue. The end result was the finance manager saying that because he couldn’t find it in writing in my agreement he could do nothing about it. He actually said “he wanted to do right by me but...”. If you guys wanted to do right by me then you would have no buts. I am a handshake and your word is good enough kind of guy. But unfortunately this business is not. I immediately left, contacted Hyundai and payed the balance myself. They lost a customer today over a mere $600. Too bad for them because my wife and I were going to buy a 2021 Hyundai Palisade Calligraphy trim when they got one in stock.

Where do I begin?I went through Jim Falk GMC since I bought my last new truck through them back in 2015. This time was a complete disaster with everything.Started with special ordering my 2021 truck. During the waiting process I was told I would get updates of truck. Never got one call, I showed up/called multiple occasions to ask about my vehicle and they never gave me one straight answer. Once my vehicle was finally here they tried to raise my price (from my already signed paperwork). After having to talk to the GM and bring my original signed paperwork they figured out what they did wrong and was able to go back to the correct price.After receiving my truck they did not put any gas in it, floor mats were in incorrectly and they put the bed liner in wrong and caused scratches all over my brand new 2021 special ordered truck. I had to call multiple times and set up an appointment with them to repaint the scratches because of there mess up.Also had issues with my on star being stuck in demonstration mode for months. Went in multiple times and it was a back and forth battle between Jim Falk and on-star blaming the other for needing to fix it. I did go in to Jim Faulk another time and a service worker thought he fixed it and said it would be done in 3-5 days. Never got fixed. My girlfriend took it in a few weeks later since another guy said he could fix it and I couldn’t get out of work. The manager sat in the car with her and called on-star but instead of fixing the problem he just talked down about me and how I could’ve fixed it myself instead of sending her. And when he could have helped her turn it off he instead just hung up on on star and told her sorry she wasted her time driving down there. I finally got ahold of on-star myself and they said it should’ve been deactivated already and was on hold for awhile until they could finally fix the problem.I have NEVER had this bad of customer service (especially when buying a special order vehicle). As much as I love Chevy/GMC vehicles I will NEVER purchase or recommend anyone to Jim Falk again.WORST SERVICE EVER.

Twice, I have attempted to make a purchase of a new Nissan from this dealership, and twice, their display of indifference has prompted me to purchase both cars on Oahu. Obviously, they are doing just fine without my business, and after making two attempts, I plan to keep it that way.
