Upon googling an optical outlet to adjust my sunglasses I read rave reviews about Kahului LensCrafters in Kaahumanu Center. I’d like to validate them by adding my own very positive experience when I visited the store today. Amy greeted me warmly and proceeded to quickly and competently take care of my request, refusing my offer to pay despite the fact that the glasses had not been purchased there. While on vacation in Maui, I lost my glasses while playing on the beach - - my only pair. In a panic, I called LensCrafters in the Kaahumanu Center. I received personalized attention in helping pick out new frames (which I actually like better than the ones I lost!), and the lens were made to perfection. My new glasses were ready in one hour, as advertised. Ms. Amy Guerrero assisted me through the whole process - - finding the right frames, making sure the glasses fit well and that the prescription was accurate. Excellent service! Saved my vacation!! What do you do when your glasses float out to sea? Go to this Lenscrafter on the island of Maui. They were fantastic, fast and I had my new glasses perfectly calibrated within one hour. I can’t speak more highly of this talented, friendly group of people.

Went into LensCrafters at Kaahumanu Mall to see if they could help me adjust some sunglasses. Amanda assisted me. She asked if I got the sunglasses at their store, which I did not, and she was still willing to help me out. She said she couldn’t promise anything and would try her best to make it fit right. Speaking only in relation to the eyewear department at the Kahului, HI location, Emily was really fantastic. She was warm, welcoming and had a great personality. I was sorry she wasn’t there when I went to pick up my sunglasses. However, JD, who has assisted me in the past was, and he is also really great. Even though I prefer using my own doctor for my eye exams, the sales team here at Lens Crafters at the Kahului location is top notch and I will gladly continue to rely on them in the future!

Lens crafters has very good quality frames and glasses I have purchased Oakley frames and both pairs of my glasses that I wear on a daily basis I have a pair of sunglasses and a regular pair of bifocal lenses for indoors and general use very good quality very friendly people and definitely a place to go And shop for your eyewear needs...

Always a great annual visit with Dr. Truong. He’s very informative and has the best chair side manners. His staff are the best! Everyone there are so friendly and helpful. I got contacts for the first time and they all guided me on how to place and remove them. Although it took me a while they we all so patient. I always recommend people to go to Lens Crafters Kaahumanu when people ask where to go for eye exams or to buy glasses.

I purchased a pair of glasses and they where giving me headaches so I tired to return them on week two. I could tell the prescription was off. I tired to return them and they told me they did not have a file for me and that I did not purchase them there. I even brought in my credit card statement with the transaction info. (i lost the receipt but all the info was on my bill) I saved up and later bought a new pair and the headaches went away but I was stuck with the other pair. I purchased the protection plan as well and TODAY as I am trying to replaced my lens under the protection plan for the new pair I am told that they somehow mismanaged my information and I have two profiles/accounts and the pair I originally wanted to return WAS IN FACT BOUGHT THERE. The manager was not flexible at all or even apologized. Very disappointing as it was acknowledged as being a mistake on their end and no resolution was offered...

In September 2017 I received professional and friendly service when I spent over $700 for 2 pairs of glasses. The pick up visit was excellent also for the fitting. However, on 10/23/17 I went in to see if I could get another feature added to one of my pairs of glasses. It was lunch time and only 2 employees were present. The one I approached didn’t know the answer and askedthe other employee who was 10 feet from us. This second employee never greeted me, just relayed the answer that I couldn’t get that feature. The nice employee told me she could show me another pair of glasses for that feature. I said thank you, no, and left. My negative experience is with the employee who could not be bothered to come over to me herself and speak to me personally. She just kept organizing frames on the display cases. Just rude and poor customer service.

My prescription glasses got stolen near the beach (with some other things), and I had 5 vacation days on Maui and needed replacement fast. Got my prescription faxed to me and printed, then took a trip around Kahului but no one had -10.5 lenses in stock, everyone said they would be able to make it in a couple weeks... Fortunately one optic store recommended Lenscrafters. Long story short, Lenscrafters got me in without appointment, got my prescription, and just an hour later I walked out with my new glasses! And they didnt cost more than those I had before. Literally saved my vacation - I really recommend this business.
