He was on the ball and the customer service was excellent- Wes made a potentially stressful situation a complete joy and surprise. A gem during a time when kindness and good help is rare.

The units are clean, staff friendly and helpful. Original unit I wanted got booked right before I got there but they showed me different options. Actually got something that suited me better. Only thing that could’ve been better was the price. Would go back there again if I needed to.

We needed a storage to store our luggage from the airport. Because we are renting a camper van to go around the island for a few days before our hotel. And we did not want to bring important items with us such as my laptop going around stopping around touristy places. So I saw on TripAdvisor that the process to rent is very easy and it was correct! Please note, this is a month-to-month rental! so you need to rent this 1 month and send your 30 days notice after you booked if you only need it for a few days. It’s a Sunday when I booked the storage, I did not have to come to their office because it’s close anyway, all the info was emailed to me and the key is already waiting for me inside the locker. The monthly price is very reasonable for 4x4 locker, it can fit two luggage and more. We came back a few days later everything is still there obviously! It is very safe, because the location is gated and we have our unique gate code. The move out process it’s also super easy, you can do it online. I think this is the best solution for anyone who wants to travel Maui but do not want to leave important items in their car. And customer service is very polite when I called them to confirm my cancellation, and told them I only need it for 1 month. Again, remember this is month to month. Please don’t try to ask for daily rate.

Absolutely perfect island service!!! Patience and understanding. I was undecided about how much space I needed. I forgot her name but she walked me through all the spaces available to give me a better understanding. That was so helpful and meant a lot to me! I feel bad I don’t remember everyone’s name but on 9/24/21… all the individuals working at the Kahului Maui location were so friendly and professional. I came back to this location because of how amazing the service was. Now years later I return to find… that service has been upheld. She went above and beyond tonight, providing exceptional service in an otherwise family difficult situation that I was trying to handle from 3000 miles away while off island on a work assignment. My experience was good. The ladies in the office were very helpful when I couldn’t find my storage space. The lift is very helpful for people with spaces on the second floor, great surveillance system. I didn’t like that my locker was up high because I’m little and couldn’t organize my boxes properly so when I asked about moving me to another more accessible container, they were really nice in accommodating my request even though I had just got there. Definitely would recommend Extra Space storage for your extra belongings

Had an efficient and super-friendly experience here. Been a customer and I needed to make changes to my storage unit size. Frank and staff were awesome, patient and choke full of options. No one likes to move but this was easy-peasy, pleasing on the wallet for pricing too. A great place, good people and clean. A shout-out to Brenda as well. The sales rep was friendly and I liked her attitude, but she wasnt able to secure a deal with me. They couldnt match the offer from the other storage facility. And they required me to purchase insurance which the other guys did not. If the cost for the storage unit were much cheaper then maybe...

Easy to rent online. First time renters, I would recommend calling or having an in-store encounter. Since I rented there in the past, I was able to figure out where my unit was fairly quickly, even though I went thru the wrong entrance at first. Still a quick and easy experience.

She was kind, friendly and made it effortless. When I came in person, Gretchen was helping another person and so Brenda helped me on-site. One of the lockers was too small, so Brenda helped me find a larger one in my price range. She had no problem showing me around the property. I had my puppy Nova with me and later in the day when Brenda saw that I had been on-site for over 2hrs, she brought a bowl of water for Nova. That was a very kind gesture.Lets face it... Needing a storage locker isnt an ideal situation. However, Extra Space Storage in Kahului makes it a pleasant experience. Ive used 3 other storage facilities on Maui... but never again. I will only use and recommend Extra Space Storage from now on.

I had to pack and store my belongings in a hurry, my Dad passed away. From start to finish with extra space storage in Kahului Maui! I never had an issue. In my experience the staff was professional, helpful and courteous. I was given a referral by Brenda for a mover and turned out to be the best mover available on the island. Since I could not be present due to COVID restrictions they made my last move stress free. I feel as a customer of many years with both bad and good companies, the honest ones with integrity and professionalism need to be supported and recognized. They have my vote and will always be grateful for the pleasant experience I have had!

Always a wonderful time at extra space storage ! I would like to personally thank the entire staff for always providing me with excellent customer service . When I went into the office yesterday morning it was all too perfect . Brenda was very patience with me as i had lots of questions & requests for a transfer .Not to mention, i was ramped up on coffee which could have been a little challenging . When we went on a walk to see the new unit it just happened to be next to the one i already have, so the transfer seemed it was meant to be. Being divinely guided, i trusted the process that it would all work out ! And it did ! The climate control in the office made it much easier to decide what i was going to do . Also, the social distanced environment made me feel super safe while signing my agreement. If you need a professional team and a clean storage facility, look no further .

This is a really good storage facility to store your items. It is very clean and very secure. I was able to get a great rate on my unit and would rent there again if I needed storage. Many times I went there late at night. I never felt unsafe. I had a ground floor, climate controlled unit which was actually cheaper to rent than other competing storage facilities that were at room temperature. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. I would highly recommend Extra Space Storage in Kahului!

From the moment we walked into Extra Space Storage we were greeted by Gretchels smiling face and from there her professional and helpful approach to her job made our experience easy and fast. She informed us of the specials that were going and gave us lots of helpful information on renting a unit. We had some items to put in the space and went from the office to our storage unit. We had trouble opening the door of the unit and called for help. Gretchel was willing to come help us but by her walking us through the steps we were able to open the door. I inquired about a storage unit at Extra Space Storage. I was assisted by Brenda she was extremely kind and helpful! She answered all of my questions to a T I look forward to doing business with her where I feel safe and my items will be secure.

This was the second storage facility I went to yesterday. At my first stop the gentleman at the desk was very rude and short. I could tell that I was an inconvenience to him so I thanked him for his time and decided to check out other places. I ended up at Extra Space Storage. When I entered the lobby, Lisa was behind the desk and was extremely sweet and helpful. I didn’t feel like I was a bothering her and she seemed eager to help me even taking me around to show me an example of a unit. The price at this storage facility was $30 a month less than the first place I stopped for an equivalent unit so I guess everything worked out in my favor. Mahalo!

I have received some excellent costumer service over the years, but nothing compares to the courtesy and competence from the team at Extra Space Storage. Specifically, Id like to thank Gretchel, who I talked to on the phone and then helped us out in person once we arrived on site. From start to finish she made my experience smooth, easy, bright and positive. Answering all questions before I had to ask, and easily getting us insurance on our items being stored. The facilities are conveniently located, prices quite reasonable, and renting a storage unit turns out to be a great option for getting your husbands stuff out of the house! This facility is super clean and the staff are all super nice! Especially Toni and Lisa and Wesley. They were always very friendly and very helpful. I had my things stored there for about 1.5 years and when I emptied out my unit recently everything was in perfect condition. I would absolutely use this facility again for any storage needs!
