I can’t think of enough positives to say about my experience! I had never been in the store before, and from the first greeting to the no-pressure assistance, I was nothing but impressed. I had DJ helping me, and he was so knowledgeable and sincerely concerned about my back issue. He took his time with me, and gave me a wonderful price too! I’m probably 35 years older than him, but I left feeling like I made a friend! It’s definitely the place to go if you need a bed!

I had a great experience! Hannah is one of the most helpful salespeople I have ever encountered. I came in with no idea of what I wanted, other than an upgrade from the $80 mattress Ive had since college. Hannah helped me figure out what kind of mattress I like, and then showed me some great options within my budget. I ended up finding the perfect mattress! I was not pressured to go above my budget or buy any unnecessary add-ons. All in all, I would highly recommend shopping here.

Joshua my sleep expert was very informative walked in when they werent busy and had it complete questions answered and would recommend this place to a friend to buy their next mattress. Its important to be honest about your sleeping patterns with this investment because you want to maximize that REM sleep as much as possible.

Hannah was great! She spent a long time helping me, not rushing even though by the time we finished up it was two hours past closing time! She helped me find the best way of getting exactly what I wanted for the best price! I highly recommend!

Great service, attended to as a person not just a customer. Unfortunately I was unable to purchase the bed. But I loved the pillow I used to test the beds I ended up with 2 of those.

I couldn’t give five stars because I paid for white glove service. They came without tools for my set up. The brackets that came with my install were not put on. I did need them. Went back to the store to get them and had to purchase them again! Even after explaining I had them with my original purchase.

I had great customer service at the Kalamazoo store. There was only1 salesman when I was there and 3 buyers. The salesman gave us all attention and i never felt rushed. I bought a bed!

I will not buy something as expensive as a mattress that is going to last 8-10 years without trying it out first. That’s why we decided to go to Mattress Mart. When my husband and I walked into the store, the salesperson (Travis) was busy with another customer. He acknowledged us and said he’d be with us when he was done. When he was free, we told him which mattress we wanted to purchase. It was one of the less expensive mattresses. He didn’t try to convince us that a more expensive mattress was better, nor did he pressure us into adding a box spring. We did end up buying a slightly more expensive mattress because it was firmer.Travis answered all of our questions. He was very thorough with explaining the exchange and return process. He gave us three options for delivery.Overall, our experience with Travis and mattress mart was very positive. As we were out of earshot of Travis, my husband commented that Travis was the most thorough, competent, knowledgable salesperson we’ve dealt with in a long time. We would recommend Mattress Mart.

Original intent was to window shop. Level of customer care from salesperson to manager to assist me to find the perfect mattress at a great price was beyond my expectations. Id give more stars if I could.

Dont remember the name of who was working sep 11 at 7pm but he was very knowledgeable, told me things i didnt even know about beds. Got me in and out in like 20 minutes. Had a great experience purchasing a mattress at the main st. Location. The gentleman who helped me was low pressure but knowledgable and had a warm professional personality. I would recommend them highly. I had done my research prior to going in and after discussing and trying different beds, my purchase was completed within 35 minutes.

My husband and I purchased a Tulo mattress from mattress firm on 9/2. This came in 3 different firmness levels. Soft, medium, and firm. We wanted the medium but they didn’t have any in stock. They only had firm and soft. We chose firm and drove to Grand Rapids to pick it up. David, the sales associate, told us we could switch it out at any time without any fees since it is a bed in a box that you can purchase online. We absolutely hate the firm mattress and just called on 9/27 to switch to the medium. The store manager, Jeff, said there was no way we were told any of this. He said after 30 days there is a $79 comfort reselect fee, even though we were told this didn’t apply to this situation. If we would have known it would be this much trouble to get the bed we actually wanted, we would have ordered the Casper mattress online. I will never be back to mattress firm or send any one I know there. Not because of the $79 fee, but because of how the situation was handled. Buy a bed online and save yourself some hassle!

I went into this store having never purchased a brand new mattress before. I had very little knowledge about mattresses except for knowing my current mattress was ready to go. We informed the staff we needed something to help our backs and provide more support but we needed some guidance. The salesperson was new & told us to lay on his favorite bed. It was very soft and we mentioned we liked more support and were interested in memory foam. He then told us to try a few more to see, but they all felt very soft. We then laid on the firm Catrice mattress and it felt great. The other salesperson stepped in and took the sale from there. We were never asked what type of “sleeper” we were, never asked much more than if we liked the beds on display. We ended up spending a great deal of money on a bed and looked forward to delivery. I will say the two men were very nice. We’ve now had this mattress for roughly 3 months and I can confidently say that we’ve slept probably 3 full nights but we are in pain from this daily. This mattress is very very hard and has not softened up. It is nothing like the bed we tried and obviously softened in store from many people trying it. We were told to “wait it out” and it will soften up. Has not happened. We called and spoke with a very nice woman that claimed we should never have been sold this bed bc we are way too light to have a firm mattress and recommended a different model. I feel disappointed by this experience as the I assumed the sales people had more knowledge about which mattress would be right for whom, but I was wrong. Do your own research. We plan to exchange and hope that we will not be penalized since we feel we were led astray and asked for recommendations from the beginning.

I decided to go to MATTRESS FIRM after reading several reviews and I did this to all of them. THERE IS A REASON AND WELL DESERVED-THE FIVE STAR RATING. GO THERE FIRST! Their knowledge, patience, customer service is the kind that is becoming an obsolete concept. Shout out to Jeff- Thank you for more than going far past of just selling a mattress. The empathy and taking the time and your knowledge to find the best fit for me is appreciated by me more than you will ever know.They do have a good variety of choices and at the same time not being an “I am now overwhelmed with too many choices” immense collection. (I believe that’s a good thing because it actually causes more issues than less). If you are not bothered or ever really get affected by the places you sleep-other people’s guest beds/hotels/etc- and you are looking to be super low budget ie around 300 dollars than perhaps you should go to places like Costco or SAMS club etc. No judgement!-you are blessed actually, appreciate it. This is for people who are investing into a proper high quality mattress- Mattress firm is committed to high quality built mattresses. They do not allow interconnected inter-springs mattresses... (ahem, again no judgement, every place and person has different needs at times). Those well-known brands that are for around 300 dollars at wholesale stores that make you wonder why the same said brand is more at actual mattress retail places is because of that minute yet very important detail. Mattress Firm has a wide array still for different budgets.I went to buy a mattress after ten years. I suffer from back pain particular lower back pain (no injury, just have a greater curvature than average from thoracic to sarcral area). I feel I have not had relief or quality sleep in over a year. I say all this because I am on a strict budget but I needed to find the best solution that somehow met both my needs and budget. Mattress Firm was able to find me the perfect fit and also take the time to demonstrate and teach me many aspects I never thought of or considered, and I felt such RELIEF! Great Place. If its busy for any reason, don’t let that be a true indication, come back when it is less busy…but go back!
