After attempting to rent from a different men’s suit store in town (where we had a horrible experience and will never even consider again), we walked into Libins and were greeted with kindness and very knowledgeable staff!! I am so thrilled with how incredible the suits will look for our wedding day. Brenda, the sales woman who helped us, was so up to date on current trends and had a great eye for pulling the perfect look together for our bridal party. Libins Vs. Mens Warehouse, Rentals.Mens Warehouse had three suit options, one color in light purple for the vest and tie and three shoe options. We could not try on anything and they ended up measuring myself, the groom, and my party two sizes too high. Terrible experience. Libins was a god send, Jason was amazing and took care of everything, I had all the options you could ever want I was sized properly and I got to try on various coats, pants and shoe options. Extremely pleased. Jason I loved your passion and recommend a serious raise.

What a gem of a store that I never knew existed! Went there with my son looking for prom clothing, and had an amazing experience with Al. He was extremely knowledgeable, and provided some good clothing education along the way. His recommendation for tie material based on a picture of my sons dates dress was spot-on, and the entire experience was flawless. Highly, highly recommend this store!

Libins is a hidden gem in Kalamazoo! We went there to look for wedding outfit options for my husband and were SO impressed by their selection. The woman who helped us gave us suggestions but wasnt pushy with what we should do. She made a few simple measurements and came back with a very nice shirt that fit him perfectly. The entire experience was 100 times better then when we went to Mens Warehouse from the help, to the selection and quality of materials, to the prices. I am 65 and about 250 lbs. My clerk was knowledgeable and took time to really make sure the items fit. We told him what I was looking for and he gave some valued opinions and recommendations. I also like how the store is laid out. The flow is nice and it has a warm ambiance. You get the feeling they really care about the fit and the look above just making a sale.

Great experience working with Al D. at Libins today. Our son, 21 years old and diagnosed with autism, will be attending his first dance. Al worked with him without hesitation. My son and his groomsmen rented their suits there. They provided outstanding customer service, especially assisting in collecting measurements from those living out of state. And in the couple of cases where something didnt exactly fit correctly, made the corrections on the spot.When we arrived to return the suits, 3 staff members came out and helped carry them in. They very quickly went through the check in process and had us back on our way within minutes.Prices were slightly high but the suits looked great and their helpfulness and assistance made it more than worth it.

This place has changed, unfortunately. Spent $200+ on a winter coat, it breaks within a month, they don’t offer to give me my money back or exchange for another coat. Instead they first tell me to ask their in-house tailors to fix it. That’s not possible so then I get sent to a manager who suggests getting replacements for the broken parts from a local shop and they will fix it. Also not an option. They say they will contact the manufacturer for a new one, but that’s sold out so manufacturer sends a different one that doesn’t fit. This is weeks later. And only now after I tell them how upset I am that they aren’t taking this more professionally do they offer to refund my money. It’s 27 degrees now. Ship has sailed on starting my search for a new coat. If they would have done this, as they should have, when I came in the first time I would have even looked at spending my money on another coat at Libin’s. Now I am not shopping there again for anything. That’s too bad.

We love Al! Because of Al we now come to Libins at least every 3 months for something, and will always request Al. He is pleasant, honest and funny. As long as Al is there you will have our business! Over the last few months Al has become a friend, someone who has helped us through the needs of a suit for a funeral, and happy moments for weddings and proms. Thank you Al for your help over the last few years!

This menswear/and ladies too.... store is TOPNOTCH in the Kalamazoo area. They have a great selection, good sales, but most of all they have a sales staff that is available and willing to assist you. The store is neat and tidy, unlike many stores that appear like a hurricane went through. We need to keep them around....so please give this store a try!!!

So I’ve been trying to move away from the big box stores and Libbins and Al D. has made this an enjoyable process, I always enjoy talking to Al and his patience for my questions never runs thin.

Bought my first suit here today and I was very pleased after the disappoints of Mens Warehouse and the mall. Sylvester was the gentleman who helped me and he was very pleasant and professional. Roxy, the Macaw, was a nice change of pace as far retail stores go. Also, they were very cool about me open carrying my firearm for those of us that choose to exercise that right. I would recommend this place to any and all of my family and friends. Five Stars!!

I have been going there for years to purchase my suits and dress clothes and they have always taken care of me. They will make suggestions, order something if needed and are very patient.

Primarily mens clothing, but also a nice selection of womens clothes. They carry my favorite jeans, NYDJ. Helpful, friendly staff. A better way to shop than the big department stores.

Fiancé went to get fitted for a tux and we received the worst customer service! The sales associate did not seem interested in helping at all, and was texting on his phone the whole time. When my fiancé tried on a tux and the size didn’t fit he just shrugged? Not satisfied and will not be returning.

Im sad to say that for our wedding we did not have a good experience with Libins and I would recommend people look elsewhere for their formal rental. We used them for our wedding last month and there were so many mistakes. First, the father and step-father of the bride tuxes were supposed to be black, this was discussed at length as the opinion of Libins was they should be gray - but no, we wanted black. However we were delivered gray tuxes with no time to change it. Next, all of the groomsmen were supposed to have suspenders included in their rental. We find out the day before that only the best man has suspenders. There was another small mixup with the grooms shirt rental. Overall, I wish I could say we were treated with superior service that you expect from a small business but alas with the number and severity of errors made, you might as well go to a national chain and save some bucks.
