My experience at this dealership was the worst I’ve ever had in my life. I selected a car I wanted, but apparently, I had to terminate my current lease to obtain the car. The day I sold my leased car to obtain the new one, I called ahead to make sure the vehicle I wanted was available. They assured me Charles had pulled all of the information and was working on it for me when I arrived. I literally got a call after I just sold my car telling me they sold the car I was on my way to pick up. To me, this is unacceptable. They later called and said they still had it, come back. So I did. The numbers looked all wrong, so he took care of it, and presented us with highly inflated numbers that didn’t even make sense. He walked around his cubicle to speak to another guy, then came back and the price of the car was 2 grand higher. He said the price changed. That fast?!? I had done my research luckily and knew exactly what to pay. After the slew of lies we were told throughout the whole ordeal, it was nice to walk away and say no thank you, I’m not paying that. I went to another dealership, where I got an upgraded version of the exact same car for far less money. I would never go back to this dealership nor recommend it to ANYONE. So much unnecessary stress. Car buying at the right dealership is fun. This was a nightmare!!! My husband and I would have been stupid to believe the things Charles told us. For that reason, I felt highly disrespected. No thank you…never again.

Very poor service experience. Had my Odyssey in for warranty work. Bad alternator installed by Honda less than 5 months ago. Joe in service refused to help our family with a loaner vehicle and said I could help but its warranty work and you didnt buy your car here.Next he said our vehicle would be ready on Monday. I reached out on Monday afternoon and he changed his story to hopefully Tues. After I expressed a need for the vehicle by Wednesday at 2pm. Joe said I promise to have it ready by noon. Joe didnt call until after 4pm to say the vehicle was ready.My wife got the car Home and said the car smelled funny. They left grease marks all over the seat and console of car. I reached out to dealership and have had no reply... absolutely dreadful for them to represent themselves and Honda in such a fashion.

The salesman, Charles, was personable and chatty, and we would have been happy to buy a car from him. We were frustrated that after spending over an hour and a half at the dealership and being ready to pay the list price given, we were handed a price break down that included an $898 dealer fee. This was NOT the tax, title and $250 doc fee. It was an additional $898 that apparently is added to all cars. The $898 + $250 is about $1150 in fees- which increased the total cost by 5%, not an insignificant amount. We asked for the fee to be removed. We asked for the price to be lowered to reflect the amount of the fee. We offered to pay $498 of the fee, as a meet in the middle. We were told no each time. So we walked over $400- on a car that has been on their lot for nearly 3 months.

EDIT- I had my dad look at it because I felt uncomfortable with their level of service. He took one look at it and was surprised I made it home. Their temporary fix was installed wrong and they broke it upon installation & charged me $30 for it! I drove less then 15 mile home. My dad was able to fix it for less then $10. Avoid this place!! Pictured is their broken “fix”.Came in for a simple oil change (young, female, alone). About 10 minutes in the lady comes back and tells me my oil Pan is completely stripped. She goes on to explain multiple times how the last oil place must have done it, multiple scenarios how they did it and to contact them for money. The whole interaction seemed fishy- like she was trying to overcompensate and pass blame onto the last place. Plus she wouldn’t even look me in the eyes. It was supposed to be a quick $45 stop that has now turned into over $1000 and possibly could even total my car. They put a temporary plug in and told me that the ONLY solution is a whole new oil pan. I called around, there are various other cheaper fixes, they were just trying to pull one over on me. Avoid this place and go to a real shop.

They seem to do a good job and the car buying experience was fine but the Express Service for oil changes and maintenance checkups is never Express. 1 hour to 3 hour wait times for Express Service is not fast, its an absolute joke. It would be much more convenient if they took appointments. Who has time to wait 3 hours for an oil change? I will just go back to doing it myself.

Risky place to take your vehicle for service. They poured oil into air intake and spilled oil all over engine compartment and didnt even try to clean it up. Also left oil stain in my interior because they dont use seat covers. They have college students with no training or certifications performing work.

I needed an oil change and stopped in first thing on Saturday morning unsure of their hours on the weekend. Rich greeted me upon arrival and provided spectacular customer service with a fun sense of humor. He went over everything with me when the service was complete. When my vehicle was pulled up for me when they were done, I noticed the driver was sanitizing everything on the inside down that he touched. This brings me to mention that the Covid protocols were great among all the staff.

I have had a Honda CRV 2014 here since March (it is currently June) and in the 3+ months since then they have been unable to diagnose the issue that still plagues my car -- which stems from a simple curb collision after slipping on ice back in February.I completely understand that some car problems cannot be fixed, but wherever that line was we passed it miles and miles and miles ago.Since the beginning of this nightmare, Ive had wheel bearings, a left knuckle, CV shafts, and a driveshaft replaced. Rather than assess what could be the damage, whether from collision damage traveling through to the transmission (something that was suggested all the way back in February) or to the differential (something Ive suggested multiple times in this process), the technicians at Honda have repeatedly decided to fix suspension -- despite there being no real reason to do so beyond misdiagnosis.Keep in mind that the above installations have taken 3+ months. 90+ days. 12+ weeks.Not to mention the part delays, which the insurance, the preferred repair provider, and seemingly everyone in the Kalamazoo area have had to fix for them by telling them to overnight deliver or order third-party parts -- something they seem absolutely remiss to do unless it is practically done for them. At one point, the rep had the gall to say that a WHEEL BEARING was going to be delivered the first week of June. He told this to me in April. Rather than pop a wheel bearing out of another car, purchase a third-party bearing, or literally anything else, he went with the first option available which was a two-month out bearing.But thats unsurprising given the fact that I have (95% of the time) had to hound them for answers during this entire process. As in call virtually every other day. The service rep, Joe, has repeatedly told me he would call me and then fails to, prompting me to have to call them for a oh, we didnt have time to road test it or were not sure, so were going to try X or no updates, sorry. Apologies upon apologies, yet nothing ever actually changes and every week Im doing the work of calling people and trying to get the car moving forward.This doesnt even begin to cover the mistakes and sheer ineptitude Ive witnessed firsthand. The insurance appraiser and I went to their tech bay to see the car up on the risers and the tech in the car COULDNT FIGURE OUT HOW TO TURN THE TRACTION CONTROL OFF. Separately, it took three weeks for the service rep to send paperwork to my insurance and the preferred repair provider, because quote: I had some trouble getting the documents from my phone to the computer.Furthermore, I have never been offered anything above what I would say is barely passing service. Never has a loaner car been offered, even when insurance told me I was running out of rental days. Never has any sort of service been offered to drive me back to my house (literally 2 miles away) when I drop the car off. Never have I even been given the confidence that they even thought of this car as a priority, despite the fact that we BOUGHT THE CAR FROM THIS DEALERSHIP and it had been in their service bay for 3 MONTHS.This all came to a screeching halt when Honda, being faced with bills that insurance isnt going to pay (because, again, the problem isnt fixed) decided to throw their hands up and say theyre no longer going to be diagnosing it and well have to go elsewhere. So here I am, writing a review before my Uber picks me up to go get my unfixed, undiagnosed car.Ive had to involve Honda Corporate Customer Care to try and get some sort of answers, though I doubt it will help. I hope someone there reads this.These three months have been, by far, the worst months as a car owner in my entire life. I will never shop here again, I will tell anyone who is even thinking about buying a Honda to look elsewhere, and I will make sure that this place never sees another dime from me or my family or friends again.Take this review as a sincere warning:Do not EVER get work done here.

Initially thought I had a great experience with them. Turns out they were scamming me out of money with their lazy service. Brought my car in for an oil change in August 2020. They didn’t put the splash shield back on correctly afterwards and it broke. Then they told me they would replace it, which was fine because I had already had issues with it. Fast forward to my next due oil change on 1/30/21, and not even a week passes and the shield breaks again! And once again, they told me I need to replace it! I called around to some other mechanics and found one who was very understanding and kind. They said they could try to fix it for me and even give me a discount for my previous bad treatment. I will not be coming back here for any future work on my car.

I bought a 2017 ridgeline new. The customer service is bare bones when you have to take your car back for all the recalls. Your out of luck as far as a rental car or even a ride down the road to work. Now my truck is 4 years old and the paint is starting to peel off. This was my first and last honda purchase, very disappointing.

Went in for oil change August 24th 2019 of this year to have my Chevy Tahoe get an oil change. Service was quick. This morning I come out and oil is leaking from the oil filter. The filter was loose and was not hand tightened like it should’ve been and the filter is still leaking oil.

Great dealership. The team in the Honda service center are always providing top notch service and advice. I pretty much only have my Honda’s serviced by this team. Even oil changes are priced competitively.The only downside is they have just 1 shuttle vehicle to drive customers back to their work/residence after dropping their vehicle off for service. First come first serve, and you might spend an hour driving around Kzoo county. The shuttle is shared by Ziegler Honda/BMW/Dodge/Lincoln, so it is likely to be packed during peak hours.

Today my wife and I purchased a 2019 Honda CR-V. Typically we are anti new cars, but the price was right. Our sales person was A.K. He was fantastic from the get go. Low pressure and incredibly informative. We actually test drove the suv a week prior to buying it today. The only reason we purchased new is that we had a good trade in that was only two years old and nearly paid off. I believe that they paid us fairly for our used Jeep and they even paid the remaining small amount of money we owed on it... so that we didn’t owe anything. We never once felt scammed or pressured. We never had that dirty feeling like we were being ripped off. We will certainly be coming back for future vehicles, as well as, referring others to A.K. Very nice to have a relaxing experience at the dealership and not having the mind games or fingernail biting. The new Honda is now tucked in the garage for the night. We purchased a 2018 Honda Accord Hybrid EX-L, but we were in the market for CPO cars originally, and we started with Metro Toyota (Kalamazoo, MI). Metro was friendly, but very unwilling to budge much on prices which already seemed higher with comparable Honda hybrids, new or used. Travis and Brian seemed honest, were knowledgeable and accommodating, and helped us accomplish a car replacement purchase with efficiency. They were willing to negotiate price, and communications ran smoothly. These salesmen provided us with sales expertise and we are confident about working with their service department based on our prior experience with a Honda Civic I drove for nearly 10 years. I am 50 years old, yet I have only owned a Grand Am, Honda Civic EX, Toyota Avalon XLS, and Cadillac Seville SLS, which were my primary cars prior to purchasing this Accord. Travis and Brian provided test drives and background information which led to our shifting focus from a pre-2018 CPO to a 2018 Accord Hybrid. The re-engineering and new car warranties persuaded us to select a 2018 instead of an older CPO mid-size sedan hybrid, and price and better bang for our buck motivated us to choose a Honda Accord Hybrid instead of a Toyota Camry Hybrid. That is, the facts and helpful information helped US make the decision, not pressure or misleading obfuscation from questionable sales practices. Travis and Brian earned our trust and our business. My wife and I recommend them heartily to other people in the market for a new or CPO sedan. Mind you, we did our homework and preceded our purchase with perhaps 10-12 test drives, several hours of research, and many communications with dealers and salesmen. Although I am a novice purchaser inasmuch as my car purchases are as infrequent as possible, and since I usually keep my vehicles for 8+ years, I think the fact that Travis and Brian rose to the top of our intense car hunting process says a lot about them and about Zeigler Honda.

I just bought a new Honda CR-V from HZ in Kalamazoo. My salesman Tyler, was outstanding! He was patient and did not pressure me to buy. It took almost 3 months before I purchased the car, but Tyler was happy to let me test drive various models. He was very fair in negotiating and promptly answered my questions. Ive had my current vehicle serviced here and highly recommend their sales and service. Only suggestion to a new car buyer is youll probably get more for your trade if you sell it on your own.

Went to get broken key, w/ chip, fixed. They couldnt get the key they cut to program. Wanted to charge me another $70 just for diagnostics on immobilizer. Couldnt explain to me why the old broken key still works but not new. Cut me a door key & charged me only $15 less. Actually found a place that could take chip out of broken key & put it in a new cut key for me for only $25. & it opens door! Tried to take back the key Ziegler cut for me, NO refunds they say! Really? Never again Ziegler . Need a key cut? Go to J& J locksmith on Cork St.

I had my car towed to this dealership to replace the ignition and they were to replace the airbags since they were recalled. Upon picking up my car, I read the receipt and found a note that my airbags were not replaced and my vehicle was unsafe to drive. I brought it to an employee at the service desk and asked him for further explanation. He said upon trying to replace the airbag they found that it had previously been deployed therefore the airbag would not be replaced and I would have to drive without one. When I asked him to clarify he said well, you’ve already been driving it without one so you’ll have to continue drive it without one. Unacceptable. On top of that, had I not asked him to go over it with me no one would have said a thing. Especially since I was not acknowledged/greeted the entire time I was in the service center. Another problem is, every other dealership does a complimentary wash when you leave your car to be serviced. My vehicle was still covered in dust. I’ve never received such piss-poor service and I will never return here again.

I took my car to service last Friday and I discovered a damage in the front bumper, I called them to report it they denied it. I went to the general manager he was very disrespectful and called me a lier and denied the whole thing. There is no way for you to report your problem with these private dealers..!!

Whatever. I jump started my car. A known issue from honda but they wont do anything about it except charge you $850 to replace a fuse box and reprogram a key. They didnt have the decency to unlock my stereo. The door panel is now nice and nasty brown stained from the mechanics hands. They did make me stand around for 15 minutes so they could wash it. Not Happy at all. Really sucks this is the only Honda dealer close. I would not take my car here again. ( They obviously dont read or care about reviews which means they dont care about their business.)

I went to check out a 2016 Civic and took it for a test drive, A/C did not work and the car was dirty. Obviously they do not inspect these vehicles like they advertise before selling. The salesman Chris was helpful but it wasnt enough to make me ever consider purchasing a vehicle from this dealership. Ill drive to Grand Rapids instead.

Theyve lost all my future business. Needed a new key for my van - cut and programmed. They told me theyd have it in on Saturday. After sitting in the waiting room for over 30 minutes they say they dont have the key but there are some recalls theyll take care of. I am then told theyll have the key by Monday afternoon. I play it safe and schedule a Tuesday morning appointment (taking time off work for the second time...). After checking in on Tuesday and waiting for a few minutes, Im told they still do not have the key and that it will be there wednesday or thursday. Terrible customer service, my trust is broken with them. I leave and schedule an appointment same day at Honda Battle Creek. They have the part in stock and can see me on my timeline. Thursday morning Zeigler calls me offering to schedule an appointment for the key, because now they have it. They offer to take $50 off the price. Even with their discount I still paid LESS at Honda Battle Creek!Apparently this service department is unable to call ahead when parts are delayed but theyre definitely able to call and schedule an appointment.

I bought a 2019 Dodge Ram 1500 classic from them with towing package and weather tech mats added on. I informed the salesman what Id be hauling. I wanted a resse frame set up, recieved a curt behind the bumper. Wanted the mats with humps cover. The salesman didnt even know the difference between the crew or quad. Weather techs came in for front that where not over the hump. I told them to mail me the right ones.but they came in for a 1500 not a 1500 classic. Super unhappy. Informed the manager Zach to get this resolved but no return call. From the shady dodging of the phone calls to the complete incompetence of the salesman. I would never ever refer anyone to Ziegler! In addition all add ons where done from another company instead of in house because of cost. Im disgusted at this point.

Charles is funny, personable, outgoing and made us feel very valued and comfortable! Very friendly service not only do they sell vehicles theyre also a huge help in many other areas. Unfortunately I had ran my keys over with the lawn mower chopping my car key in half and didnt know what to do it was the only key that I had and I had called around to several different places and was told that I would have to have a tow truck come and pick my car up tow it and and they would have to rip the ignition out and I would be charged for the tow truck I would be charged for the ignition being taken out and I would be charged for a new key little that I know that this dealership was able to take my information off the phone from the phone and more than just a day-and-a-half ordered a key to be made for my vehicle without a tow truck without my vehicle has me be there and being torn all apart and I had a new key within a day and a half very helpful

I walked in the front door of the dealership hoping to find a solution to my stereo being locked and asking me for a code (an anti-theft precaution most Hondas have). They directed me over to the service desk where I was asked a few questions. Without even hesitating they jumped in the car and tried a few things until the stereo turned back on and was able to be used again!They didn’t make me wait, and didn’t even charge me.Thanks Ziegler Honda!

Recently took my new Honda Odyssey in for installation of some accessories and the staff at the Service Area was friendly and helpful. The wait was shorter than expected and the waiting room was clean and comfortable. The service technician reviewed my paperwork and confirmed the reason for my visit and was very personable. I have problems with my car, I was thinking a bad thing can be happens soon, then I drive my car in here, expected to be a whole day waiting for service, but Joe help me a lot, explains the problem and giving a solution to replace/repairing it, thanks Joe, it was great service. the price is relevant even got an adjustment in the end...love it.

Just went this morning for a brake fluid warning light on my dash. Zeigler was great about getting me in quickly, and they were wonderfully non-judgmental when they told me that it wasnt the brake fluid light - it was the low tire pressure light. The wife and I came in looking for a new pilot, first impression; the dealership was clean and the people seemed friendly. We met with a short guy by the name of Tyler. Not only did he try talking us out of the vehicle we came to look for but he totally disregarded what we were asking for. It’s almost like he thought we were not serious buyers and he didn’t have the time. We took our business elsewhere and purchased the vehicle we wanted from Honda in Grandville. It’s a shame such a reputable company has such a poor salesperson representing them. We will not be returning or referring anyone to this dealership.

Drove from Grand Rapids Michigan because I had made a 9:30 am appointment with Rick. I arrived at 9:10am, Rick was with someone. I waited around, he came over and said he got my appointment mixed up and thought I was coming at a later time. He had me work with someone else. The other gentleman was nice and all, however I made an appointment with a specific salesman, that was clearly not valued. I drove to Kalamazooas this is where I have always gone. I will settle for a closer option since appointments are double booked. Not any terrible past experiences however an appointment is made for a reason. An hour later and I still havent met with Rick. Thank you Zeigler Honfa in Kalamazoo.

Was really interested in an used car here. Took it to a trusted local mechanic and he told me there was a lot more issues with it then what was mentioned to me at the dealership. Be cautious when buying used cars here. The staff are very friendly and will work with you though so that earned them another star.

In the past I would never have service done at a dealership. I have relented to letting Ziegler change my oil and so far I have been happy with their service. They are polite and fast.I am having a damaged wheel replaced today. I will see how they do on this.

I got the worst experience from Ziegler Honda.Whenever I used to go for oil Change they will say change your car this part and that part need to change.My car was in very good condition so my husband told me not to listen them.But I always believed on God and so followed what they said to me.Before I realized just only couple of workers are not good but later figured out including manager all are same.Never trust on them.They are self seeking people far away from professionalisms.I changed my front brake,rear brake,front door latch.
