I was referred there by family friends who have been clients for more like 20 years! I think that says a LOT. I have always enjoyed my cut and color over the years. As my preferences have changed over the years my stylist Jodi has always been able to work with me to get the look I want. The atmosphere of the salon is positive and enjoyable and the front desk staff are awesome and friendly. Absolutely fantastic salon experience for my first haircut in 6 months. The scheduling process was easy over the phone and I was able to make an appointment within a week or two. Erica was my hair stylist and she delivered on just what I had envisioned for my hair trim with layers and partial highlights. The salon ambiance was relaxing with good music and decoration, even with regulations for COVID in place. The best part was Erica’s friendliness and pleasant conversation. I recommend this salon experience to anyone in the Kalamazoo area!

Chrissy Weller has given me so many A+ haircuts! Her cuts are very flattering to my face, and they fit my lifestyle. When I’m in a hurry, the “hairdo” almost styles itself. On other days, I can put in more time and effort to enhance the style. My DH is very particular about his cut; she gives him exactly what he wants. As a bonus, Chrissy is a really nice person, making for a thoroughly enjoyable experience!

Around 2015 I got a cut and color here and it wasnt a good experience. When I arrived, the stylist was working on someone else. I was never given a full answer about when my appointment would start or finish. The stylist had somewhere to be before I had class so that was the only time frame I was given.The problems I had with the cut and color were mostly due to my stylist getting distracted by other people she was working on at the time and the fact that she had somewhere to be later. I was polite and didnt want to cause a fuss but it did bother me. My hair was cut uneven and the color turned out wrong. Now thats something that most stylists would fix later on but what happened next made me never want to go back again.At the end of the appointment I asked how much it cost. No one would give me a straight answer until the end. What they did is look at my gift certificate and say that it wasnt enough. When I looked at the receipt after, the certificate was enough plus a 20% tip. So I ended up giving her a 40% tip without realizing - when I wasnt even satisfied with the service.A friend of mine used to go there often until she decided to stop dying her hair. Once she stopped dying her hair, the stylist who she really enjoyed going to - no longer had time for her for simple cuts.You may be wondering why im reviewing so late, its because I was respecting my friend who went there continuously. I didnt want my situation to reflect on her business with them. But now that she doesnt go there anymore I dont feel wary about posting this.Unless you have bucket loads of money to demand a stylists full attention, this place isnt a good salon.

I love how Jamie is always prompt! I appreciate when you make an appointment you get right in. I like the wash tubs,is that how you describe it? But when you get your hair washed,its comfortable.

Ive been going to Karen for a year or so now. Always does a phenomenal job. While I havent had experience with the other stylists there, they are always friendly and nice.

I made an appointment here last minute (I picked this place becuase it was close to my house) the receptionist was friendly. I got my haircut by Anna, she was friendly and efficient. I was in and out in 30 minutes, and this is the best haircut I have ever had. I would definitely recommend Anna, she really did a great job

An hour before my appointment they tried to cancel on me because they had another customer there that they did not plan the time right to finish her hair before I got in there. I am a nursing student, a mom, and work. I make appointments for certain times because that is all I have available and it was very unprofessional for them to not plan accordingly. Then they called me back a half hour before my appointment that they canceled they called back and said they found someone who could do my hair. The color did not turn out how I wanted it to be and then when I checked out they would not take the Groupon I bought because that has to be with a certain stylist, yet they changed the styilist I was with, so I am out 140$ between paying for my hair cut and color and they Groupon. Not good customer service for a first time costumer
