I cannot say enough good things about this place. Had some issues with my jeep driving across the country, and had a deadline to meet to ship my jeep. I called places all day long, and everyone was completely backed up and couldn’t see me for several days. Dan and his crew were so helpful and kind, and fit me into their busy schedule! I was so lucky to find them. I would not have been able to make my deadline without them. They do amazing work, and I highly recommend them to anyone.

Dan the owner seems to be a down to earth guy, unfortunately though, some of his mechanics are not. they break things while doing other repairs, and just state that it never happened. I would not recommend this shop just based on how dishonest they are. i brought my vehicle in for repair, and they said it was finished, upon inspection, they didn’t even replace the parts needed for the repair, and also claimed some were missing. So they pushed out the date it would be finished, then they called me saying it was repaired, and stated that my dipstick was damaged, and must of been zip tied. another flat out lie. I had just removed the part to find where leak was coming from. One thing i’ve learned in my life, is be honest, if you break it, you tell them about it. For that alone I cannot recommend the korner shop.

Compared to past experiences in the Valley, Korner Shop excels in service. I have older cars and trying to find competent service isnt easy.

I dont usually write reviews, but Dan Korn and his team are very honest and trust worthy as well as knowledgeable. I have taken an older truck here 4 times this year and they have found the issues and solved them. The cost is a bit on the high end, but you truly do get what you pay for. I will be back.

For once in my life, I was the damsel in distress. From Iowa, my car sprung a coolant leak .. and it wasnt a hose but from the coolant tank itself. These wonderful people got me in right away and brilliantly fix my car so I could make it back home safely and quickly. I made it home with no issues again! Solid repair work! Id almost venture to say, the repair work was better than the original setup. Best of all, it didnt cost much at all! Knowledgeable, kind, and compassionate people work here... I work on my own stuff 99 percent of the time and usually regret taking vehicles to a mechanic but ive taken a couple vehicles here for repairs I just didnt want to do or didnt have the tools for and havent regretted it yet. Professional and know what theyre doing. Plus they gave me a cool hot rod mini calendar.

I took a pretty complex and obscure vehicle to them that another shop had already messed up...they stuck with it and solved my problem. Good guys..A++

It took 4 mechanics to figure out the ticking noise in my 02 Impreza was a lifter and that a valve adjustment was needed. These guys hashed it out in no time. Got rid of the CEL, no more misfires. Not cheap but not terribly expensive. Quality work and knowledge doesnt come cheap, you get what you pay for. Would definitely recommend. 👍

Friendly, professional people. The gentleman named Cory who worked on my vehicles electrical problem got to the root cause, spelled it out for me in plain terms and fixed it in good time. The staff didnt seem annoyed when I called in a few times for status updates and understood/respected my comments and requests.

Pretty fast, low cost, and seemingly knowledgable service of MY car. However, I recommended my son to take HIS car in for air condition repair, and it ended up four whole days there and cost over a thousand dollars. Yikes!Maybe it couldve been done faster and for less elsewhere...

Excellent service! My car problem would come and go of course by my appt time my car was fine so they ran every test they possibly could and instead of throwing parts I didnt really need at it or even lying about what they found so they could over charge me more they have me waiting to see what gets worse so they can make sure they fix the right problem! They got me in right away they were all very nice honest people!

It was a little bit of a lengthy process finding where the draw on my battery was coming from, and though it was frustrating for me, and them as well, they didnt give up till they found and fixed the issue. The Korner shop offers great professional, personal service. They are very knowledgeable and affordable. They have also been quick to help me a few times in crisis situations. Way better service than any local dealer.

I brought my car in for an oil change due to having a gift certificate. I was happy with the oil change but was then handed an estimate for over $1,000 for other work they found while inspecting my car. So I took the estimate and thankfully did some research on my own. I found their prices for the parts were very high. I was able to purchase them for a fraction of the price online. Same part numbers, same part names, way different price online, like 75-80% less. Im sure their workmanship is fine but their prices are high and the shop I ended up having install the parts charged less for labor as well.

Really appreciated the service provided. On top of the service we brought our car in for, which came in less than the over the phone estimate, they went the extra mile. Our car battery was dead when we dropped our car off and they cleaned the the battery terminals and charged the battery at no charge. Will definitely use again and recommend. I have been a loyal customer to the Korner shop over the past few years, and have given them lots of money for their services. I have not had any issues until recently. I always felt comfortable leaving my car there and having work done on it, and the employees were always nice. However, I recently dropped my car off to get a new wheel bearing (it cost me 522 dollars) which I was happy to pay. I picked my car up and thought it smelled kind of weird when I got into it, I then noticed some ashes on my seat. An employee of the Korner shop smoked marijuana in my car. I immediately, after discovering what had happened, went to the service desk and told them about it as I have a toddler who rides in my car, and don’t want this around my son. The owner was out of town so Cory said he would let him know. I was expecting to hear from the owner to at least get an apology, but it has been a few days without anything from the owner. I did receive a call from the shop yesterday informing me that the owner was back in town and I could go in and talk to him if I would like. However, I thought this was very poor management that I haven’t received a call, and it disappoints me as I was a loyal customer for years! They have lost my business!

I have trusted Korner Shop several times to work on my 1974 Pontiac. They are dependable, reasonably priced and always available to discuss any concerns or ideas you might have. I have had them suggest that I not make upgrades that might lower the cars value, even though their honesty kept them from making money from additional work. Highly recommend!

Dan and Cory at the Korner shop are the best!! I’ve taken multiple cars there, and I always find their assessment accurate, pricing fair, and turnaround time right on schedule. I’ve even had the experience of having my final bill less than the initial estimate!! Five stars!!

I take my Bronco to the Korner shop exclusively and I would have gone to 4 stars but my last visit, which was just an oil change, took an hour and a half and I had a reservation!Im always a bit concerned whenever I go in because except for one previous time, theres only 1 mechanic actively working which could just be indicative of the jobs they had but an oil change should never take an hour and a half. (Sorry Dan, just sayin!)

I have been taking my 12 year old BMW to The Korner Shop for servicing for over a year now. I wish I had started to use them sooner. I have been to a lot of auto repair shops in the area and I have found Dan Korn and the people who work for him to be the most honest, skilled, friendly and trustworthy people that I have dealt with. I have taken two vehicles to the corner shop. The first one, supposedly they fixed. I went to pick it up and it instantly started to have problems. I limped it home, maximum speed 20mph (that was as fast as it would go). Had to take it back to them and point out the obvious....that they did not fix the problem.Second car, they supposedly fixed. I go to pick it up, and it wont start. Seems to be in theft mode after they fixed it. They did not offer any support in resolving this problem. Furthermore, when I asked that they charge up the battery so I could attempt a procedure to get it out of theft mode, they did not charge the battery up for me...so I was unable to do anything.The service at the Korner Shop is terrible. However, if you are interested in spending a lot of money and still having a broken down car....this is the place for you.

Great service quick repair

From their connection to AAA services, to their knowledge on vehicle years and types, to their friendly customer service, The Korner Shop crew put me back on the road within a day (which I was not expecting). Traveling from CO to WA, I found myself stuck in Montana, with issues in a 50 year old vehicle. The mechanics were honest from the start - about what I should prepare for in the worst and best terms. Then, their diagnosis consisted of finding the problem, fixing the problem, and testing my vehicle to make sure they trusted it back on the road. I highly recommend this shop. Its not likely that you get your vehicle back on the road on the same day that you bring it in, and I wouldnt expect this shop, or any shop, to service a vehicle in one day every time, but the service was beyond what I was prepared to expect. Wish I could have stayed to allow the shop to do a full tune-up, but had to continue my travels. Thank you, Korner Shop!

Superior shop! Honest, friendly, fast. We have taken all of our vehicles to Dan for years and are NEVER been dissatisfied. We just had a problem with our 1962 vintage GM PD4106 bus and we were in a hurry. No one had been able to identify and repair it. Dan got us right in, the mechanic identified and fixed the problem and we were out in a couple of hours!! That and they dont even work on busses. We cannot thank them enough. Dont bother using anyone else while in Northwestern Montana.

We were driving through Kalispell on our way back to Great Falls and our trailer broke. We dropped it off Friday morning and had it back the same day by 5. Dan rushed our trailer back and forth between their shop and a machine shop to get it fixed. I would HIGHLY recommend their shop, they are professional, very friendly, and reasonably priced.

Best auto/pickup shop in Valley. Excellent mechanics especially Wade. I have four vehicles one of which is at 1989 Camaro iroc Z28 that I bought brand new and Wade is the only mechanic I will let work on it as well as any of my vehicles. Ive had a problem with my jeep for quite some time and Wade diagnosed the problems and fixed them that no other shop including the dealerships could solve. Very few have that special gift of fixing vehicles and Wade is one of them. He loves what he does and he does it well.I highly recommend this place if you want the work done right the first time and at a very affordable price.
