Sportsman is a high end store for all your outdoor activities. Friendly staff and clean store. Also they had a nice selection of ammunition in stock as well.

Rolling through pictures and I happened to stop on this one. What a great day that was. Looking at it for a minute I thought about this jacket Im wearing around my waist. I bought it about 8 years ago. It a Rivers West jacket that was supposed to have a guaranteed zipper. After about 2 years the zipper failed and teeth had come loose. I took it back to Ski Haus to see what they would do. They immediately told me that they would take care of it by sending it to Rivers West for repair/replacement of the zipper. 10 weeks had passed and Rivers West sent it back unrepaired with a note saying that the zipper was broke due to misuse and that it was not covered under the warranty. Ski Haus customer service decided that wasnt okay and they sent it out to a seamstress and had the zipper replaced. Top notch zipper (better than original) and perfect stitching. I was over the top pleased and Im ashamed that its taken me this long to say so. I especially appreciated that the customer service rep. trained me in the proper use of a zipper- great training too because its been 6 years and I havent broke it again from misuse. PS If I knew who the seamstress was- I would certainly recommend them too. Thank you Ski Haus

I bought. A expensive. Weapon and they where very. Good to me threw it all. Back ground passed right away took it home in tears cause I always wanted. Something. As cool as this. A week later I went back in and bought a smaller weapon and. A Fenix flashlight. Love this store. They dont do anyone wrong. Even the girls working the checkout wear nice and excited for me. Sure is cool

Took bike in for tune up. Got back with no change in shifting problems. The chainring only had 3 fasteners and the derailed post was bent and they didn’t discover any of it. Just put a new chain on. Chain link fails right next to quick link in new chain. Definitely not pros like wheatons.

Favorite store to buy all things for outdoor activities. We often shop the clearance rack for our kids for ski/rain/winter jackets and are always thrilled with quality and deals 😀

Sportsman’s is REI on steroids (if steroids were good)!1) Thank you number 1….Flashback to summer my husband and I were going to buy a used NRS raft and buy a frame from sportsman’s Jennifer asked for a serial number and called the manufacture to find out it was 30 yes old. We ultimately saved a ton of money by not buying that raft! Really great store that I love to visit. They have a great selection of outdoor gear, all at a pretty good price. Unfortunately, since the statewide mask mandate has lifted, sportsmans has made mask wearing optional. As of mid-march, less than half of people in the store are wearing masks. Pretty disappointing to see.

Asked a guy in the shoe department to get chacos for me to try on. When I was adjusting the Chaco straps he made a very snarky comment saying thats not how you do it. I own chacos I know how to adjust a strap. He proceeded to sigh very loudly slammed the box down and walked away. I told the store manager and he was very nice and friendly. Sucks to have a worker like that make the entire store look bad. Every other worker I encountered was very nice, but the older male in the shoe department made me not want to buy a single thing.

Many thanks to Kaden for helping me purchase and set up my new bow. It’s not often that employees at larger stores take such pride in their work but my experience at Sportsman’s was second to none and you have earned a customer for life.

Excellent customer service. Have always been helped when buying large ticket items such as skis, bikes, or guns. Whenever I have had a problem they take care of you. Prices are competitive even with online stores, and they will price match. Cannot say enough good about this store.

Awful customer experience. Tried to call only to be greeted by an automated system that then transferred me to a non helpful greeter who then transferred me to the wrong department after being on hold for over three minutes was then put on hold again for another two minutes before I decided it just was not worth my time to wait on hold with a company that proudly boasts how they are NOT a big box store in their annoying hold music queue.

Went there today for a Ping driver. I stood there for 5 minutes while two employees were just standing around talking. Finally one comes over to ask if he could help, and says oh we dont have any Ping drivers left in stock and it would take 4 to 6 weeks to order and get one in.So I went home and ordered one online to be delivered Tuesday.This is not the first time this scenario has p ln ated out.

Am employee decided to be an A-Hole to me because I wasnt wearing a mask because of a health disorder I have. Under HIPAA, he is not allowed to ask what my health condition[s] were and decided to try and be a cop and go above the law. He wanted to ID me and I said absolutely not. I was just looking to come in here and get new shoes before work but that happened. NEVER coming back here!

I go into the place across the street and wait a half an hour to be helped by someone with no experience, sportsman rocks.

They are always helpful but exceeded my expectations this trip. I bought a set of rings for my rifle scope and they offered to mount my scope on my rifle and bore sight it as part of the sale. They had all the tools and training to get it done quickly and without any drama. Excellent place to shop for almost any outdoor equipment.

Well stocked store. Good luck getting any help. Everyone is busy stocking.Went in today to get help on purchasing a car top carrier. No one helped. All were stocking shelves. After 10 minutes I left and went over to REI, was met at the door, and helped right away. Sales person ordered a carrier for me. I will pick it up in store in 4-5 days. I dont expect much to be available right away with the virus, but you wont sell much if you will not provide customer assistance. Score one for REI.

I felt like the internet had just been discovered when I visited your website, it has no search function. Which is literally the first thing I see when shopping online anywhere else. I was looking for snowshoes but Im not going to leave the house and visit the store if your page cant even tell me if they are available. Every link is nothing more than a giant photo and endless text that gives me no options for purchasing a product that I may be interested in. I Was also going to buy poles and maybe boots but Cabelas and REI had inventory online so I went there instead.

I love Sportsmans. I live in Whitefish and usually go to the one there. This one obviously has a better selection. However, the last three times I have been there I have been in the shoe section holding shoes that I wanted to buy and no body came and helped or was around. Not super upset, but you guys are losing business from me atleast.

Stopped in for a quick shop of course ended up with many questions. Bruce helped us with a repair on a paddle board and was super helpful. Thank you for having employees who care and do business right

A really well stocked store with upscale displays and merchandise that cover just about every popular outdoor recreation activity you can think of. Very clean and lots of free parking.

Got a kayak during their Labor Day sale, I was able to purchase one of their rentals. Great price! True bargain! Customer service is spectacular! Kyle was one of a couple people that helped me find the right kayak for me, and I also got a few tips on transporting it on my car. Love this place!

So, last week I went to Ladies Night at Sportsman for the first time. I think its so great that this company puts on an event like this. Its so refreshing to see female customers actually acknowledged and empowered!!I had a great experience, but my reason for giving this company less than 5 stars is the fact that there were male employees everywhere...at LADIES NIGHT!!Heres a perfect example; I go to grab a bit of food and they have a man serving me meatballs... Really.. a MAN serving meat BALLS?! Very funny guys.

Almost half the shoppers were not wearing masks and the employees kept taking their masks off over their mouth when talking to shoppers. not great since we are kind of in the middle of a pandemic.

I bought a pair of shoes in May of this year from Sportsman. After using the shoes for three months I found I was not satisfied in my choice. I went in and told them about my predicament and they allowed me to return the shoes and get a different pair.In this age of internet shopping, these are the things we miss. Thank you for helping me out.

Took a while to find someone to help me, but once I did find someone to help he was great.Reminded me of going to Walmart and the personnel keeping their heads down and ignoring the customers who spend their money to pay the employees wages. Sad.

They have a lot of cool camping stuff and a pretty extensive fishing department. They carry a lot of osprey stuff and can have some reasonable sales. Ive heard them play some R rated music though so be careful when you take kids in there.

Great store, great products, and friendly staff. Although I think some could use more training in the archery department so they arent giving false information when a question is asked. Ive been ran out of the store a couple times by Robert just cause he makes stuff up and wont admit when hes wrong.

Shopped here several times, great selection and helpful, friendly staff! I recently needed a repair done on my Ocean Kayak, it ended up being a complicated process getting all the right materials ordered and getting the repair done, but the first person I talked to when I called was super helpful and stuck with it and made sure the whole thing went super smoothly. I rarely post negative reviews because I’m a business owner but I’m hoping to get the owner’s attention so she can can hire more professional employees. I was treated very rudely by Haley (I believe that was her name) at rentals. My wife and I are visiting from Florida because we are planning on moving to the area. I’ve snowshoed once in my life and was excited to show my wife how fun the sport is. I was treated so poorly that we ended up forgoing the rental and the trip altogether.Retail employees: Realize that not everyone is a ski bum that is familiar with technical terms like “televators” and such (honestly had to look it up). You are literally hired to educate and HELP people. Customer service is your job. If you don’t like it, there are plenty of other jobs where it’s not as important and plenty of other people willing to work hard and treat people with respect that will happily replace you. It’s not that difficult. It’s specially important when there is so much new competition.There are other companies that I’m sure offer the same products and that appreciate their customers. I’ll try them next time. Sadly, you lost our business, Sportsman. You can thank Haley (if I recall correctly) at rentals for that.

As has been stated by more than a few reviews, I found their floor staff to be less than helpful; virtually ignoring me until they figured out I was there to spend money. After my intentions were realized, I was passed off to some folks who were somewhat helpful. Pricing...lets just say across the board they are very high priced. I was purchasing items, On sale which really only managed to bring them in-line with normal very day prices and what the manufactures show as list prices. I typically do not write reviews because for the most part theyre a waste of time. Sure hope whoever manages/owns this/these stores takes note.

We recently purchased 2 sets of kayaks racks from Sportsman. The salesrep, Kelly, was fantastic. He took extra time to explain all intricacies of the new racks including installation and security. He also advised us on several key accessories that we would have never thought of. EXCELLENT rep in your boating dept!

Not my favorite place to shop when looking for outdoor toys and gear. Sales people are hard to find and the checkout gals are more interested in gossiping with each other than practicing good customer service.

Barely shop here anymore due to the fact no one ever comes and helps me out. They all notice me and stare for a bit but then never come to see if I have questions. Literally went in one time to time how long it takes for customer service and I ended up leaving after 13 min. I use to love coming in and asking question and I thought I was getting great answers until I started learning more through Google. Cant really say the store is great. Products are great and all but the customer service is the worse. 2 stars is being nice.

Sportsman is definitely the place to go for any kind of outdoor or active lifestyle merchandise. Their sales staff is always friendly and very knowledgeable about the products they sell, which is a rarity these days. I recently went in looking for a pair of gloves and Jeff went over practically every brands offering in my desired specifications. At the end he left me to make the right decision without pressuring me to buy one brand over the other, very much appreciated!

Top notch service.

I came in to see if I could get my ski boots improved to reduce my discomfort. They quickly helped me and discussed which options I have. They put pads on my feet and we compressed the insulation on my pinch points. They heated up my boots and then I wore them for 15 minutes. I took my boots off for a bit, removed the pads and then put the boots back on. There was definite improvement but not enough. They then gave me the option to shave down my insulation tongue which I accepted. I tried them on again after they shaved it and a significant improvement again. The guys were very knowledgeable, polite, helpful and and had great attitudes in the ski hut. I highly recommend this place for your ski needs.

Prices seem high and the selection was limited. I am not thrilled with a lot of the styles so I may be more judgemental... the styles appear to only be for tweens up to size 6. Very disappointing.

Good selection and some decent pricing, the staff is great and the store is definitely somewhere to look around for things you didnt know you needed. The staff sometimes can be a bit overwhelming, almost like a shadow following you. They do however offer special ordering if you so wish. Check out the clearance racks for some killer deals!

Best sporting goods store in the valley. They stock everything from hunting gear to ski and water sports gear, team sports, clothing, and much more. Great customer service and great quality gear.
