Great selection of FRESH pastries, sandwiches, coffee, various types of wheat in bags, and a few gifts. Food is always delicious and you can tell its made from scratch. Offerings in the morning are fully stocked and dwindle toward end of the day, but theres always something tasty to order. I had the oatmeal with blueberries & almonds and it is always delicious. Coffee is always spot on and smooth. The Farmstead sandwich is amazing. So tasty!

I almost never write bad reviews for small businesses, but this was...not a great experience. Im honestly floored - I expected it to be good, based on other reviews/photos.My friend and I each ordered a half sandwich on sourdough, and we both got extra mayo. Both of them were completely soggy and the bread was falling apart. We ordered at the counter and then ate in the car in the parking lot, so its not like they were sitting for a long time. It was not a typical fresh sourdough; honestly, it tasted, looked, and felt like white bread from a bag. I had mashed avocado on mine too, which made it even soggier. Like, I could feel how soggy the bread was through the paper it was wrapped in. I cannot express how soggy these sandwiches were. The ingredients were falling out all over the place, too. It genuinely seemed like it was the first sandwich someone had ever made, LOL. It was like a sandwich youd make for your worst enemy. IMO, extra mayo does not mean *half a jar of mayo dripping out of the sandwich*.Also, it should be a crime to charge $3.50 for a cup of KRAFT MAC AND CHEESE. You can see in the photo - that is unmistakably Kraft (and it wasnt even that cheesy).The veggies/meat/cheese were fresh and tasted fine, and the staff were very nice. I liked the latte I ordered too and my friend enjoyed her iced tea; Id just stay away from the food here if I were you.

We love this whole wheat flour so when we found a restaurant that uses it we had to try it out. After a day of snowshoeing at Big Mountain Resort we were ready for something to help warm us up. We ordered the Reuben Sandwich, the Heart Healthy Salad, and the Italian Wedding soup. Everything was delicious and the prices were incredible for what we got. The salad had lots of fresh greens, really tasty croutons, sliced almonds, and came with a roll & butter. The soup came with a roll & butter and crackers. The Reuben came with a dill pickle. We were sad to see the huckleberry cinnamon rolls were already sold out along with most of their other treats. Next time well get there before 3:30 pm.

Good food but I have had three different times I have ordered and they either didnt put it in the bag or forgotten ingredients on sandwiches. Just a little annoying to pay that much and not get what you want.

Visiting the area and stopped here for breakfast on the way out. The bakery items are so light and fluffy. The cinnamon rolls were big and light and tasty. Simple menu but everything was so good. A nice place to stop and the staff was so friendly.

Fresh & delicious bread. We had breakfast sandwiches, which was a perfect start to a hiking day. The huckleberry bear claw was so tasty- definitely recommend it!

Great food and friendly faces. I wanted to eat somewhere local that I cant get back home. This was the perfect spot! We did have to wait quite a while for our food even though it didnt look very busy, however it was worth the wait.

This makes me sad to leave this review. Ive been coming here for years. My kid also has to come to love this place.Now I can expect excessive delays- nearly everytime.No sense of urgency, employees standing around.I thought i could offset this by ordering my food in advance. I called in nearly 30 mins before I arrived, they told me 15 mins. Well of course it wasnt ready when I got there. Forget the 10 mins I spent of hold.I want to still come here but the terrible customer service makes that hard, especially when I have somewhere to be.I thought this was a temporary issue due to lack of employees to choose from but after a year or so it doesnt seem to be getting better.Ill try going here after another year or so, I hope this gets fixed. So sad.

Food was good, but service was exceptionally slow took over a half an hour to get my 2 sandwiches which made us late to work. 2 young women in the back were working incredibly hard so kudos to them. The rest of the staff however did not seem to have any get up and go. One employee was wearing sweatpants which is quite inappropriate for a food establishment. Another was gossiping in the kitchen. I understand its hard to get good help these days, but it would have been nice to see hustle from all the employees and a more tidy dress code. If the service continues to be this way I will not be coming back despite the good food.

Best ham and cheese croissant in town. Gigantic almond and caramel cinnamon rolls are perfect for sharing. Bought four of them for my fiancé and his colleagues this morning, and the sales lady offered to heat them up and pack them so very nicely. Excellent customer service!

Waited in the drivethru for 20 minutes for a couple sandwiches and hashbrowns. Not sure how it can take that long to toast a bagel and throw some lunch meat on it.. rang the bell to see how much longer it would take and nobody answered. Went inside to check how long it would take and there was a worker on her phone, two workers behind the counter just talking. There were maybe 5 other customers there of which we were the first to order. Delicious food but not worth the wait if you have anywhere to be. Maybe the manager could help the cook if they are as understaffed as they said.

My husband and I always enjoy going to Wheat Montana when we visit Kalispell every summer. We lived her for 18 years before a work related move. Imagine our surprise when we entered the bakery for anticipated coffee and pastries, to find the bear claws are now so much smaller and no huckleberry bearclaws! Really. The coffee was as good as ever. I ordered a cherry turnover. It was so dry and only consisted of puff pastry. I took it up to the counter to show the barista that, i ate right to the middle…only a thin line of cherry sauce and not one, not one! Cherry. What happened? I will not be returning. Disappointed and sad.

What a great little café! We came there for breakfast after visiting the coffee shop across the street. We were surprised that it was empty despite the coffee shop being full. However, the deli filled up quickly, mostly with what looked like retired folks. The food was very good and the prices were fair! The staff was super approachable! An amazing family restaurant. We will sure be back here whenever we visit Kalispell again!

COVID-19 traveller here -- I really wanted to give this place 5-stars but where I live, designer sandwich shops are on every corner and thats what I had to guage it from. The tuna melt bread was wet and that shocked me first. Portions were eh and places of this caliber usually make their own potato chips, not serve them from a bag. The soups were delicious and the quesadilla was a winner taste combination also. The menu has California pricing which was disappointing because every other eating establishment we visited we were treated to that awesome Montana discount. Especially now with what the economy is going through ---

The cinnamon rolls are outstanding! -3 for bad customer service...I ordered a decaf Americano. They charged my card. Then after I started eating breakfast, the server said they ran out of decaf and could they give me regular instead. I said no. Instead of offering a refund, she told me the same people own the coffee shop across the street, and theyd just go get some. So...After completing orders for people who came in after me, and after my party consumed everything on the table, I started walking to the counter to ask for my money back. Thats when I got my coffee. I said, Im finished now. She got a tone and told me she had to go across the street.This is basic customer service 101, and the people here apparently have no clue. How hard is it to give me my own money back after selling me something you dont even have?

We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch here the other day. The tuna melts were great. We also enjoyed a raspberry cream cheese bear claw that was amazing! Prices were much lower than expected, 2 meals, a soda, and a bear claw for under $28.

Visiting from Florida! We went looking for local coffee and breakfast and were pleasantly surprised when we stumbled across this wonderful place! The atmosphere is comforting, everyone is so welcoming, food was DELICIOUS! Highly recommend The chocolate croissant! We also tried the huckleberry cinnamon roll and breakfast croissant both were delicious as well! Definitely going back for more before we leave! PLEASE make a location incentral Florida!! 🙌❤️

Ive gone here twice in the last month and both times they messed up my very simple, straight from the menu, one item order. I didnt ask them to fix it either time because I didnt feel like waiting longer, but Im sure they would have. A few of the workers did not have masks on. The ones who did kept repeatedly touching them and pulling them down around their chins when they spoke, completely defeating the purpose. One girl with her mask around her chin was coughing a bunch, which was more than a bit disconcerting. The food is super bland, but I get its supposed to be standard fare americana so probably cant fault them for that. Two stars because theyre always super friendly and the food is so cheap for giant portions. Regardless, definitely not going back anymore.

Had Door dash deliver for a quick meal while I waited at Glacier Jet Center. The french dip was simply amazing!

Small breakfast burrito. Meh. Very dry and tasteless. Wasn’t worth finishing the other half. First server had no idea what a flat white was. Second seemed to know but it wasn’t really a flat white?! Not sure what it was. Coffee is OK. Shame. Think this place could have a lot of potential but seems more like a trap for hungry tourists.

They were able to make the breakfast sandwich I wanted so that was awesome and I love the cinnamon rolls

Guy working at counter was decently rude and didn’t get our order right along with the hair in our food it was just a bad experience. Definitely used to be a good place to go, but by the messiness of the inside and the general vibes I’d say find somewhere else to do lunch.

I just found my new favorite cinnamon roll spot!I cant believe how many times Ive driven by and never stopped in. Loved the cream cheese frosting; not too sweet. I could actually taste cream cheese instead of just sugar. I cant wait to have a breakfast date with my hubby and share one of the other varieties of their monster cinnamon rolls!And employees can make or break a first experience. I wish I would have noticed the name of the gal who helped me this morning, but she was very cheerful and friendly.

They have the best food and coffee, not sure why anyone would even go to Starbucks when this place is a couple blocks away!

Awesome little eatery. I wanted to get a cinnamon roll, but I foolishly ate breakfast at my hotel. I ate the Mighty Missouri sandwich hours later at Glacier and it was so freaking good, it was a highlight of an already wonderful day. Nice local food products to take home. Eat here if youre visiting Kalispell.

No changing tables for babies!! Let me start again; great place to stop and grab a tasty sandwich or really tasty pastry. Love to get a sandwich and then hop across the street to Sweet Peaks for the best ice cream in the valley. However, there is no changing table in either the mens or womens bathrooms! Do you know how incredibly frustrating it is trying to use the bathroom while holding a 1 year old? I cant leave him at the table by himself and cant (wont) put him on the floor of the bathroom. That means I am trying to do everything one handed! Not cool! Could have been 4 or 5 stars but not without a changing table. Ill stop by again but seriously consider other places if Ill be out with my boys rather than by myself.

Stoped in to grab a sandwich with my girlfriend one day and ended up getting in a long conversation with a man sitting in the corner who happened to be the owner. Seemed like a super awesome guy that was interested in pushing forward with conversation and wanted to learn about our views. Staff was great and the food was phenomenal. Highly recommend checking this place out.

Have always wanted to try this place and finally got to yesterday. The turkey salad special sandwich of the day with chips was delicious. Huge sandwich so could only eat half and saved rest for later. Will definitely go back many more times.

Such a disappointment. Hot sandwich was stone cold and over drenched in sauce. Soup tasted out of a can. Bread did not taste as if it came from a bakery. I would gladly pay $13 for a delicious lunch, this however, was far from that.

This place is amazing! I was sad when Cafe max went out of business because I loved their soup and went here on a whim- BEST tomato bisque soup I have ever had anywhere. I have gone back several times since and would recommend this place to anyone.

First morning in Kalispell and met a friend here for breakfast. The. Best. Cinnamon. Rolls. Ever. They are huge, but so light and fluffy! Our son tried the huckleberry roll and absolutely LOVED it. My husband had the plain one, but slathered it with butter (warmed roll) so it was a gooey and not too sweet. I had the carmel/almond roll... DELISH!!! Definitely will be going back before we leave and will take some with us.

The atmosphere, location, and food are all great! Only downside is the portion size for the price. No hard feelings, but I stopped in and ordered a $10 sandwich “special”. I got a very small sandwich and about 15 chips. Again-it was delicious, but I could’ve gotten twice as much food at other places around town for the same price.

Awesome food!! After 14 days eating fire camp food the fresh taste was to die for. The entire crew enjoyed hot sandwiches and soup.

Food is so good that weve come back multiple times during our vacation. The young blonde, however, could use some customer service training. Not very warm. Will continue to visit when we come back and recommend for the food.

Husband and son liked those. Chips were good. Pickle was good. Average but, good.Not worth the stop when there are so many options. If I were coming back to town, Id pass on a repeat here. I already endured the repeat on those old-onions.

I visit Kalispell a few times a year to visit family, and there are always two places I stop: Wheat Montana in Three Forks (which I highly recommend) and Wheat Montana in Kalispell!Constantly delicious sandwiches and one of the best cinnamon rolls Ive ever had! Must be that cream cheese frosting.

Terrible. Inattentive, unhelpful employees. Tasteless, greasy food tasted like low quality meats and cheeses were slopped on a grease covered grill. Unappetizing. Since employees cant be bothered or are simply incapable of basic decency, owners may consider placing signs about the establishment indicating where folks need to go if they actually wish to order something to eat, although I would not recommend doing so.

Giant, fresh, yeast rolls filled with cinnamon and topped with various glazes and nuts. The coffee is good and plentiful and served in white ceramic mugs!
