Had a problem with my guitar amp. I had a good idea what it was and went into a local shop(not naming names). I asked how much it would be to fix and they wouldn’t even give me a ballpark price until they diagnosed it. I asked how much the repair was that I thought was the issue and they basically said “how do you know? Are you a guitar tech?” And still won’t give me any number on a price. I’m a mechanic and that isn’t cool. You should always be able to give an estimate on a repair.I found Cosner by word of mouth and he gave me a price on what I thought was the issue over the phone. I brought it into him and he diagnosed it. I was wrong. Lol. He gave me the first hour free on the diagnosing and fixed the amp for a really good price. I bring all my amps there and he’s always done good work for a good price.
