Excellent service today at evergreen uhaul!! Very impressed by everyone. Fast, efficient and on our way. Fibbing or Hibbins? Was excellent.
Awful customer service. Do not recommend. We reserved a cargo trailer at this location online and then upon pick-up learned that it was not available. We wasted an entire day prior to this driving around getting the parts for the hitch sorted. They did give us $50 because the reservation didnt work out, but Im only giving them one star. The employees were constantly distracted or multitasking and were not very knowledgeable or helpful. We much preferred our interactions with the Penske employee in Kila. He knew what he was talking about and helped us get what we needed.
Do not do business with this location if you can avoid. Nice staff, but horribly understaffed and undertrained. Besides the terrible billing situations with the free month of storage unit rental from trailer rental. Nobody would remedy the billing problem. They also hooked up a another short term trailer rental with exposed wiring (old harness) touching the trailer tongue (metal wire on metal trailer neck) to my factory 2018 RAM 2500 hitch shorting my fuses... The staff here is checked out blaming staff shortage (not their fault, rather management) I watched an employee go through obvious diagnosis training that made me nervous and many things were overlooked with unnecessary urgency. This place is a high volume disaster.
Usually come here for propane, but last time I stopped in, with no indication of change whatsoever, the price of propane was over 2x what I am used to paying here. Been buying about 20 gallons of it here every couple weeks for over a year, but after last time I luckily discovered a place still selling propane cheaper than I ever got it here just down the road from me.The guy who helped me said the increase was because they dont have enough staff to run the store. If thats true, what a rotten way of passing along your own problem directly onto the wallet of your customers.
I rented a truck to move some furniture for a memorial service. This was emotional and important. UHAUL ruined the entire experience. I am only giving 1 star because I cant give zero. This rental was a complete disaster from the moment I attempted to pickup the truck. Not only did they not have the 10foot truck I requested (even though this location shows EQUIPMENT GUARANTEE on the UHAUL website), but they changed my reservation to a different location without telling me. The problem is, the location was 200 miles away from where I needed it to be! The notes said they called and left a voicemail about this, which is a lie.. but even if they had, changing a reservation to a location 200 miles away requires customer approval, not just a voicemail! They also set the reservation for 4 hours instead of two days like I asked. They finally gave me a bigger truck at the same price, but i was nearly late picking up what I needed (the memorial would have needed to be canceled if Id missed the pickup) and it took an hour to fix the problem, and then I had to be on hold with customer service for another hour to get a longer reservation time. Customer service was absolutely useless and I had to demand to speak to a manager to get anything resolved.When I finally brought the truck back they charged me for a FULL extra day because I was an hour late, in spite of all my initial convenience and the fact that they MADE ME LATE INITIALLY. THEN, when I got the bill, they charged me .99 per mile instead of .79 per mile as listed on their website; they charged me for an aplliance dolly instead of a utility dolly (more expensive) just because they put both in the truck even though I asked for one; AND, instead of refunding me for the furniture pads I didnt use as a courtesy, they not only charged me for them but added a 6$ charge for loss without an explanation.This experience was APPALLING. Not only would I not recommend the location, I wouldnt recommend UHAUL AT ALL! Poor organization, poor customer service, fraudulent billing... UNACCEPTABLE.
Never do business with this location. We had a reservation for a storage unit drove all the way from NC with a uhaul full of our furniture jusy to be told reservations dont hold your storage unit its first come first serve and we dont have anymore in that size we have a smaller one. Well then why the heck do you even have reservations to begin with. So basically after that we were told nothing we can do unless we want a smaller one. I would recommend if you do use this location and they pull this stunt to call and flood uhaul corporate to push this owner out of their franchise. Its a horrible greedy way to do business. We have so far made it to the marketing president and will keep claiming the corporate ladder till this is delt with in a satisfactory way. Cause now they are costing my family thunder if dollars by having to sell all our stuff to get the truck returned fast and cheap and grief because we have to sell family furniture that has been passed down generations
Despite having a confirmed reservation, had U-Haul call and cancel on me today for a rental that isn’t until July. Their reason? Lack of availability.Don’t allow customers to rent and confirm reservations if you don’t have the vehicles available. Incredibly disappointing. We were depending on that rental.
Tucker helped us today and he was amazing. We had to travel further to pick up the size pickup we wanted and he helped us get more miles approved by his supervisor. Helped us get our preferred drop off location. The 10 foot truck was full and on good shape. He was very through and polite. I highly recommend this center.
Seems like good customer service, lots of supplies, reasonable prices. Buying moving boxes aint exactly exciting, but enjoyed the time there actually. Always had good answers to any questions

Mgr. Kimmie was great! Really helpful and resourceful - accommodating to my concerns, especially considering the stress that moving can bring. I used the U-Boxes for the first time and they were very helpful in helping me along the with the process, both when I moved to MT and from MT, this was my go-to facility and they were great anytime I needed them!
I was impressed with the personal contact! Hook up on my car was bad went out of there way to fix it! No charge....thank you Dennis! And the young buck you were training! Hope you find more staff seems like a great work place!
Had a death in the family and had to come here to rent a U-haul to bring back our family member’s belongings to our home in Oregon. My husband has an underlying health issue that makes him vulnerable to Covid-19. There is a sign on the door saying masks are required to enter. The employees were not wearing masks inside, or outside, nor standing 6 feet away from unmasked customers. Customers came inside while we were there, also not wearing masks. No one was concerned. Due to the employees attitude towards public health I have no confidence that the truck we rented was sufficiently cleaned to help stop Covid-19 from spreading. Sometimes we don’t have the option to “just stay home” to avoid Covid-19, this was one of those times, and I am really angry at the lax attitude at U-haul in protecting their customers. Especially with an outbreak in Kalispell today.
I can’t remember the last time I was treated so poorly as a costumer. Janet was extremely rude to me making implications that I was lying about the vehicle that would be towed.
One of the best customer service experiences I’ve ever had. I am also extremely impressed with how clean the units are, the climate control, being able to pull a truck and trailer into the building so you’re out of the weather during loading/unloading, and the extra levels of security on each unit.We ended up getting two units so we could store seasonal things like skis and bikes, as well as some of our furniture while we move to a new home and get settled. We also have a ton of books and paperwork and it’s a relief knowing they’ll be safely stored without being damaged like we’ve experienced in other outdoor storage units.
Top notch service. Father and son team who fixed my trailer lights were true professionals and very personable as well. I highly recommend this company.
Once in a while you come into a situation where you are totally at someones mercy. The customer service is so far over the top you cant stop talking about it. This was my experience at the Hwy 2 UHaul. Having lost my job with Covid, and then being evicted, I had to move fast. They were kind, professional, took care of every single detail, and so many details were with no charge. ❤ And then I remember Masons smile and wave as I left. He rewired my trailer lights for me.

There was an employee when I went to drop the trailer off and she was trying to get the door open and I asked if she need help and she just ripped into me super rude from the beginning and complaining the whole time she was there it was ridiculous I am super mad about it
Equipment was the ONLY good thing about this experience. This location needs to focus a bit on customer service training.
8/18/20 update - have changed management and last two experiences using them for a move and car carrier were outstanding. Amazing the difference. Prior comment: This location has one of the few stop lights onto the main street. Tonight at closing, they actually blocked our access to the light because we were coming through their lot to get to it. Normally, I would understand if theyd asked nicely for us to respect their lot, but instead the attendant blocked us off with a truck and was rude and surly about it. Not surprised to see other complaints about the service.
Zach is the best manager I have ever dealt with. He is compassionate, caring and accommodating, his boss is also top notch. This is a well run branch of U-Haul, I am very impressed. They helped my sick girlfriend who has environmental sensitivities (MCS & Bio-Toxin illness) with renting the right van that would not trigger an autoimmune reaction. They were patient with her needs and kind through the process. I am not sure why this branch would have any negative reviews on Google, but I can tell you they are unwarranted. Thank you so much U-Haul team members!
Absolutely love this place! We’ve had things in several different storage centers in the last five years and this one is by far the cleanest and most secure.
I received 1 month free storage after a truck rental, used for maybe 3-4 days and then completely moved out and Co firmed with the manager... a month later I am receiving past due rent notices for a unit I DO NOT OCCUPY. No response on the phone, no reply to emails. I’m no longer located in the Flathead Valley and cannot visit the location in person.I wish I could rate this location higher but this has ruined my experience with Uhaul of evergreen.
We went earlier in the day to fill the propane tanks. Waited in line and once to the front was told they were busy with customers, as if we weren’t customers just because we were there to refill propane. Then retuned 3 minutes before closing and was told no on propane refill because he was closed even thou I showed him on google and my phone still shows open.
I rented a ubox in Oregon and it was delivered here. Zack, the manager was great. He was courteous, extremely helpful and accommodating. He thanked me for my business on every occasion we interacted and made my move easy. I highly recommend this uhaul location!
I can guarantee you two things if you rent a storage unit from this U-Haul: mouse urine and feces, and lots of it! Mind you this was not one of their outdoor units, but instead their indoor, high priced, temperature controlled units. We had several units there, and recently unloaded them. We stopped counting the mice after the fifth one, and most if not all of our furniture had mouse urine and feces on and in it, not to mention the nests we found in several boxes. When we showed the employees they said yeah they knew they had mice but couldnt get in to set traps because units are locked. Huh, storage units were locked, who could have possibly seen that coming? Maybe a phone call stating there is a mice problem and could we come down to let them in? Nope, that would require them giving a darn about their customers or their belongings. To summarize, if you want loads of mouse urine and feces, U-Haul in Kalispell/Evergreen is the place for you!
I have had over ten issues with this location about billing, access, my storage unit and renting a car. I have currently called three times to fix the same issue; they are billing me for a storge unit I emptied weeks and weeks ago in addition to billing me more than once a month and adding additional false charges. I still have not been refunded, to my knowledge this is still not resolved. The employees here are grossly incompetent and can’t seem to get even the basics of their job right. Additionally the customer service is to be desired. I have been mouthed off to by two employees. Also EVERY call I have made to them requires them to get a manager to fix the issue. Are these people even trained? Do they do anything? I would give zero stars if I could. This place is a joke.
Everyone is very helpful and goes above and beyond! The manager is outstanding!! I have dropped of uhaul, rented storage spaces, and picked up uhauls. I would definitely come here first for all your moving and storage needs :)
Best customer service I have ever experienced from a rental company. The staff was knowledgeable and helped me prep my own vehicle so I could rent the equipment I needed. Their worker, Travis, was the guy who helped me out the most and really went above and beyond. Certainly will be going back!

Be very aware renting from them. I even paid extra for insurance and when the trailer broke down halfway to my destination, they are telling me its my fault for not shutting the door properly. I got $60 off what was a worthless rental. This business does not honor its products and charges the customer for a defective product.

BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!! Absolutely terrible we were quoted $275 for a trailer rental and made the reservation over the phone. Called back less than five minutes later and they said the manager, ZACK said he ‘made a mista and it was actually going to be $1200’!!! OVER A $900 DISCREPANCY!They absolutely bold faced refused to honor their quote and didn’t offer any type of discounts or appology, and didn’t take responsibility for the mistake. Zack even stated that if he completed the reservation and took our payment his name would be on it and he didn’t want to ‘get in trouble’ for having it go through at the rate he quoted us. Wow dude way to own your mistake.We will never give our business to them again and discourage all of our friends and familyfrom ever using them as well. This place is going downhill fast. In a small town you can not afford to treat customers poorly and expect to remain in business. Word travels fast and customers shouldn’t pay for mistakes made by their employees. Disgusting, unethical business practices.
What an experience this has been.First boughy those worthless moving straps for $20.Next was sold premium insurance that did not include roadside assistance. $28Renatl fee: $20Winch out service sine the above insurance did not cover it. $85Due to the above additional cost i was compt a day as my intown mobe of 15 miles had now been an all day and night afffair.However after looking at my bank statement i notices that i was charged over $120 in error on top of the above expenses mentioned above.After a few days of calling i have only been refunded $60 with zero follow up from either the GM (Zack) or his assistant .Worst experience i think any could ever have .I will be following up today for the remainder of my stolen money.

When the previous renter didnt bring back the size we reserved and there werent more available, they did the right thing and gave us the next size up at no additional cost. Everything else went smoothly, exactly as expected.
They are also a great place to get propane, they are prompt and very professional with the attitude of making the customer happy!
After turning in our rental, My wife asked about billing details, sense we had used 2 different CC and had a extra day of truck rental. Along with returning unused boxes.After a lecture from employee Zach Havens on U-Haul SOP, I started to express my thoughts, he interrupted and called me a Dick, then he repeated the speech and told us we were wrong! Angered and stunned, We left. After returned home and reviewing our account, we were charge full price on both CCs for the rental! I guess his excellent customer service training equaled his understanding of U-Hauls billing practices !I have never been so insulted. The unprofessionalism and rudeness of the employees conduct was uncalled for. This cant possible be acceptable to U-Haul or in any business. I have terminated employees for such conduct In my business !! I hope U-Haul will take the appropriate disciplinary action. Such verbal abuse of a customer is never acceptable !!!

Zach was polite and made sure I was out on time even though a busier than normal morning had delayed their start on installing my hitch.
I was just in there to make a purchase and No one even acknowledge that I was standing at the counter with my stuff.There were 2 workers just standing there talking to another customer. At least they could of said they would be with me soon but instead they ignored me. So after 10 minutes I left and I will make my purchase elsewhere.
I have gotten good service here in the past but the place is being turned into a mega storage place not quite up and running yet..delays..and disorganized staff.
