The Food court restaurant with the roasted duck and pork is starting to collapse. Ever since the pandemic started the food now sucks. Also the Chinese/Vietnamese women working there are rude and sassy. The Filipino ladies knew how to run the bussiness but unfortunately they are gone. Today I ordered orange chicken. No white meat. The breading and sauce was stale.The chicken was hard, chewy, sinewy, & rancid When I took my 1st bite I my gag reflex was immediately activated. Chicken meat especially breast and thighs are white. Not brown nor purple. Now I wont eat Asian food for a couple weeks now because of this place.BUYER BEWARE.

Pretty interesting store catering to mostly again tastes.A lot of unusual and different products you wouldnt normally see in a common American supermarket.I especially enjoyed the variety of dry and fresh noodles and all the different styles and brands of instant Ramen from overseas.Another bonus is the ponzu sauce I used to be able to purchase at my local supermarket but no longer carries it is offered here.

If you love Asian culture or are interested in expanding your horizons spend an afternoon here at 99 Ranch! The fresh produce was clean and organized and featured in season Asian foods.The food court features quick bites of Japanese, Chinese and Korean meals too. The Asian/French bakery is outstanding (even though the staff member was unfriendly).I could not believe the freshness and authenticity of the pastries. The cakes are works of art and look like they would be fit for a great party.Great selection in the supermarket too ~ I will be visiting Katy in the future to shop and eat at this market.

This store is better than the one on I-10 West .More selection of vegetables and better seafood counter . Ample parking space and clean. Store has a very friendly and helpful staff. I would recommend for everyone looking for Korean food and it’s ingredients and supplies.

First time visiting this store and absolutely LOVED it. So many varieties of food. The produce looked fresh, the seafood area smelled fresh. And the costs were great definitely competitive, I left with everything I needed and didnt have to go to another store. Honestly my goal was just to check it out but I ended up shopping. If I wouldve had a cart I probably wouldve definitely bought more. The only thing I wish they had was the pollack fish snack. I added an image with this post. I even signed up for their rewards card which I thought was awesome that they offered because not many other foreign store I shop at offer reward cards.

They have exotic fruits and seafood over here (JK, but there is rare food sometime) Also good market for cake and snacks. Food court is nice also.

Love the bakery and food court. Fresh and delicious. There’s also good 99 cent milk tea if you ask for the coupon. Great variety of goods. The staff are very nice and everyone wear masks. There’s also hand sanitizer at the front of the store.

This is an awesome place to shop but even better to grab cooked food. One of my favorites there is Yuri Yuri Korean food. The food here is delicious and very reasonably priced. I go there any time I am craving authentic Korean food.

Coming from California, It’s so nice to have a 99 Ranch Market in Katy! This one is nice, new and big. Shop here for fresh produce, seafood, meats and Asian packaged items. I would suggest avoiding anything else unless you really need it, as they often sit on the shelves here and bit longer than at a Kroger and are usually priced up a bit more. But the above items mentioned are good choices here. There are also many shops located inside that are worth trying, such as soup shops and a Chinese bakery. Stop by and check it out!

A lot of imported Japanese snack and very nice things

Dont buy roast pork or duck from the roast meat department in dining court area in this grocery. The roast crispy port I bought today was wet, cold and soft, not crispy at all. What garbage store.

Cashiers will turn off the light to go home even if they saw customer waiting in line. Management, please tell cashiers to let customer know to go to another register if their shift is ending.

Great store. Very Clean. Has a deli area for hot foods to eat there or to go. One section serves Korean Fried Chicken. Variety of products. Good prices. COVID precautions in place. Good meat selections.

Well, if you love seafood of any kind... and youre like me who loves having someone clean, remove scales, cut and even deep fry, then this is your best bet...so far. If youre Chinese, new to Katy or visiting, this is one place you can call home. A wide range of Chinese foods, ready to eat, raw and fresh is found here. Staff is friendly too. I recommend... I would have given 5 stars but a whole lot of foods are Chinese products so I didnt even know what was in the packs 😂

I feel like this market has so much potential like the other location but it’s always so lack luster. I was there earlier today and it looked like a ghost town. Did court was pretty empty but that didn’t bother me. I prefer it to not be busy. However, the groceries was kind of disappointing. Veggies and fruits were wilted and didn’t look so fresh. I only needed to grab some canned fruits to make a Vietnamese desserts. Meat and seafood didn’t have a lot of variations so I skipped out on that. I still prefer HMart over this but it gets the job done.

Oh wow, this place actually has more stuff than what I want at a fast food restaurant. Like it actually has Japanese food and thanks to me knowing a bit of Japanese, i can read it! I actually got me something out there because Im certain I wont see it at my Krogers at home.

Don’t miss out this market! Got the largest stock of all Asian groceries. The fresh fish section is really good. You will find the Indian pomfret!!!! So fresh no smell what so ever. That was a surprise. And ofcourse any noodle usual ones or rice … all shapes!! And yeah they have mochi too!!

My weekly place to get fresh groceries and any other asian items for cooking. Reasonably priced compared to nearby stores. High turnovers so they always restock fresh fruits, produce, fish and poultry.

The only thing I buy here is the Halal Indomie Noodles which I basically grew up eating. I used to buy those on Amazon before but not anymore. Other than that, they have everything for the Asian culture household. Places smells like Seafood. Because they have a big aquarium for fresh sea food stuff!

Most things are pretty good .... ingredients, snacks, pots pans and other misc things ....Vegetables are hit and miss but mostly goodButchers and seafood staff are great just my experience .... I always get live fish then friedI havent had a bad fish fried since Ive been going here ....They have food court with various Asian things that should satisfy your cravings .... bakery for the sweets ....4 star because you must watch price being run up .... sometimes item in wrong spot or sign in wrong spot lol easily fixed but just a hassle when line is long ....Other than that peachy ...

The Bakery and Cafe in 99 ranch is an absolute terrible bakery. They sell two kinds of egg tarts, one type is Macanese and the other one is Cantonese. I was there to buy some Cantonese egg tarts. They stick their price tags underneath the wrapping box (very difficult to see) and placed Macanese egg tarts ($6.00) in Cantonese egg tarts area ($3.00) on purpose. When I realized this issue, I asked the cashier why don’t they just make the tag more visible and place the correct egg tarts in the right place? The cashier’s attitude was so bad and yelled at me with no apologies.

I like coming here for their veggies. We get fish and have them fry it there. I also recommend their bakery.

FINALLY!!! After searching for a fish market to purchase fresh catfish steaks for over a year, I find this place. Reasonably priced, quality catfish steaks and efficient, excellent customer service for my online pick up order. Will definitely purchase from here again and again!

Many goods do not indicate the price, some goods are not cheap, the price is not uniform.

Love that there is finally a big Asian grocery store in this area now. I can get all sorts of produce and foods there that I cant get at HEB or Kroger. I sometimes go there just to eat at the food court.

Very happy to have access to Asian grocery in Katy. But have to be careful with what you get, as they are not always fresh. Dont get BBQ from their hot food counter. Been there a few times for the past several months, the BBQ duck and pork has been dry, and not flavorful. That still way better in Chinatown!

New to Ranch 99 this is one stop shop for your Asian products. Been going to this location for quite awhile its clean and nice very organized and ok customer service. They have other restaurants also inside like Korean food and LA crawfish if you are craving for some good food.

The place to go if you dont wanna pay Hmart prices. Remember its chinese over here. Get your pho stuff here. But then its still better to go to ca mau in cypress for pho stuff.

Great size and spacing ... no worries about potential overcrowding, etc ... did not find EXACTLY what was being sought after BUT some good substitutes were available to warrant a return trip in the near future.

The Filipino selections here are second to none. I feel like we are in Cebu again! Thank you 99 for great service and food from a wide array of Southeast Asian countries.

I have lived by this 99 ranch for a few years, and I regularly get the green tea from their bakery. Its super affordable and tasty! The only gripe I have is with the new ladies theyve hired. There are these 2 Asian ladies that are super aggressive when they take orders. I was waiting in line when I saw her drop the drink down on the table roughly in front of the customer. Also, when we order a drink there, sugar is automatically added. Ive noticed the last two times when I would order a green tea, there was no sugar. I have to ask her to add the sugar in. This same thing happened to the lady in front of me today. She had to ask if there was sugar after it was made. The asian lady just looked at her, grabbed the drink back and added sugar. And unfortunately, she added the wrong sugar, but by now, the customer was too scared to ask her to change it again. So she just gave me this, oh well, look and walked away. My point is - the new ladies at the bakery are super rude.... hire some friendly people!

Super fun Asian super market. Theres an amazing food court with Korean food, Chinese, Ramen, and Crawfish. L.A. Crawfish is BYOB. Did I mention the bakery? Phenomenal stuff.

While its easy to pick out what is alien about this asian supermarket, what is often interesting to me are the superlatives compared to our american grocery stores: The amazing variety of seafood, snacks, dumplings (and potstickers), and sauces, and the freshness of their produce. Theres always something new to see and the restaurants inside are some of the best asian places in the area. Checkout is quick and friendly and every time Ive been there looking for something in particular that I couldnt find, theres been someone right there, store or civilian, who knew where it was.

A little expensive but, hey, I used to have a tree in my backyard at home in Virginia.Lots of incredible fruits - and the other fruits were better priced and more competitively lower than other grocers.Several stands to test and buy specially priced products!Check out was fast and easy and the cashier was friendly enough.

No quality control on fresh produce.Bought a whole case of golden kiwifruit and a small water melon, all bad upon opening.

There is a large variety of products for Asian cooking and imported foods that are hard to find. Like delicious pickled plums. They also have affordable woks and cookware. The store is always clean and prices are really good. Produce is fresh and there is plenty of easy parking

I went there for snow peas and they were completely out of them. This happens quite often at this store.

It used to be very good. But this time I bought one bag cherry around two lbs with extremely bad quality. I did not eat even one cherry. I called to report the problem and ask the store to stop sell the cherry. The manager was nice and let me return the cherry next day. I did not return bcz I live in Katy.

This is the only place I didnt mine wearing a mask in there, because it stunk.
