This is the second time I have used Glamour Flooring to install new floors. There are several things to note about Glamour Flooring. First of all, they are a small, locally owned business, but they do have a great selection of products. Secondly, friendly personal service. Maynor is the best. Thirdly, I find it difficult to believe that anyone in the area will beat his price. I was even able to negotiate a little on the final price. And lastly, I set up a 1500 square foot job that he was able to start in less than a week. The crew was very professional, and they didn’t take many breaks. They did work from early morning until around 7pm (10 hours the first day and 12 hours that last day) in order to get the job done as quickly as possible. They moved all my furniture without charging a lot extra to do it (which other installers do). The floor looks fantastic, the job was done quickly, the crew was professional, and Maynor made me the best deal I could find. Glamour Flooring is very difficult to beat. I Will always go there for all my flooring and counter top needs!!!

Very professional and excellent work! we did our living room with wood tile floors and they did such an awesome guys. The workers cleaned up nicely after they were done. Also Ricky was very professional and helpful when it came to ordering and picking out our floors. When they removed the carpet from our living room we found out that we had trouble spots (Dips and humps) with the cement but they knew exactly what to do and fixed it. All of our tile is completely even and their cuttings were on point! Very skilled! I have already recommended them to a few family members and will definitely go with them when its time to get our kitchen counter tops and backsplash

We looked at a lot of flooring options at many Katy area stores and decided to go with Glamour Flooring. Glamour Flooring was easy to work with. They were helpful but didnt hover while we looked at many flooring options. Installation was fast and professional and the results were beautiful. The finishing touches on the hardwood and laminate moldings were done very well, even where we had columns with rounded corners. From sales through installation, Glamour Flooring was great to work with and we will use them again the next time we need flooring.

After months of research, both in product and cost, Glamour Flooring stood far above the rest in the Houston area. Although Katy was not as convenient for me geographically as other stores, it was well worth the extra miles to work with Alex! What a refreshing change ~ someone who knew what he was talking about and actually “listened” to my needs BEFORE offering any suggestions. Once my final decisions were made, scheduling was critical as I only had a small window of opportunity to get the floor in. Alex assured me they would work with my schedule, and they did. The installers showed up ON TIME both days and were not only courteous and respectful of my family and my home; they were unbelievably hard working and talented. It was truly a pleasure having them in my home! I cannot recommend any company more ~ finding this company was the best thing I’ve done all year! I love my floors and I’m looking forward to working with them in the future. One final warning ~ another very popular and large flooring company promised everything (including great prices) until it was time to finalize the project ~ they sent their own person to “measure” my space and OVER ESTIMATED my space by 100 extra square feet. This INTENTIONAL error would have cost me over $900.00. What a great scam … low ball the bid per square foot then add 100 square feet! Beware ~ not all flooring companies have integrity but I cannot recommend Glamour Flooring more ~ they were 100% honest and professional all the way through the project. Thanks again Alex!!!

I called Glamour Flooring and spoke with Maynor. I explained we were 2.5 hours away in East Texas and had seen a particular hard wood for my floors that I was looking for.I had been calling around several places and was quoted considerably higher for the wood I was interested in. If we had it shipped it could take 7-10 days to receive the shipment as well.Maynor knew exactly what I was looking for. He quoted me a very fair price and took my order and completed the transaction over the phone. The very next day the wood floors were delivered to my door. We were extremely impressed with the quick delivery and quality of service we received from Glamour Flooring.We were so excited about the money we saved as well.We are now discussing countertops and installation with Glamour Flooring. Hopefully we will have them installed in our kitchen next.I highly recommend this company for any home renovation.

We had water damage after the recent flooding and needed new wood laminate fast - let me emphasize FAST. I found Glamour Flooring through a Google search, saw the positive reviews and called them up. They were very helpful estimating cost and working with me to find the right match for my home - most importantly, they were able to arrange installation for the next day. The install team showed up early, worked non-stop for six hours and left no trace. The end result is that now I have new and beautiful floors.

We were replacing 2000+ sqft of carpet with engineered hardwood on a 2-story vacant house we just bought. We stops by Glamour Flooring to check out the offering on the 1st Saturday of January 2015.The store hosts ample samples of flooring material, we were greeted by Ivan and his partner. Both gentlemen explained us the various engineered hardwood samples that suited our preferences.Ivan took the actual measurement and gives us a proposal that is fairly priced. As promised, works started and completed as proposed.The workmanship is good, and no sign of damage to the existing walls, posts or stairs. All construction wastes were removed from site by the time we made the inspection.We are planning to contract Glamour Flooring to do additional tile works for our porches and balcony.

We live in Cinco Ranch. We had been looking to replace the carpet in the master bedroom, stairs and the game room for a long time. We needed hardwood that matched the wood already installed in the living, dining and study areas of our home. My husband and I started out wanting to replace all carpet with wood floors and ended up replacing the kitchen floor tile and backsplash, rebuilding the fireplace and remodeling the master bath in addition to installing the wood floor.Cost was reasonable. Ivan was a great help with our selections and was never pushy. We replaced our small shower with a custom cabinet (very happy with this job). The garden tub was removed and this space is now our new shower which is wonderful. I love the granite countertops and deep sinks. The wood floors look great, but the installers trim work (baseboards) was poor. I was disappointed in some of the finish work performed by other installers as well. Ivan handled our complaints professionally and was more than willing to make things right. Overall, happy with the results.

He even had his crew here installing carpeting on a Sunday so it would be in place before our furniture was brought in and unloaded. Maynor and the staff at Glamour Flooring were always professional and very courteous when I dealt with them. His prices were very competitive, and the service we received was excellent. We are going to be doing some tile replacement in our home and will definitely be going back to Glamour Flooring for our purchase!

I had laminate floors installed upstairs and in the master bedroom along with the stair case. They look awesome!!!!!. I was going to wait until I was on vacation in a week to get the work done. Maynor Vega said that was not necessary. The floors were installed while I was at work in record time. The first day they removed all the carpeting and moved all the furniture. They completely cleaned the floors after removing the carpet. I was very impressed with their tydiness. From that point on I was not concerned. The floors look great!!! Now next week I can relax on my vacation and enjoy my new floors. I am so impressed I will be getting Glamour Flooring to lay laminate in the remaining bedrooms in the near future. Last Wednesday, we had a water leak and our downstairs became partially flooded. After cleaning up the mess, we called Glamour Flooring and Maynor invited us into the showroom to look at options for replacing our carpet. He was very knowledgable and had a great selection of products. Maynor came out to our house that afternoon, took measurements and provided us an estimate. His estimate was significantly less than other bids we received. He had a crew of five at our house by 11:30 am the next morning. They had 1,100sf of hardwood flooring laid (including leveling concrete) by 5pm the next afternoon. They did a fantastic job and we couldnt be happier with the results. Maynor even stopped by afterward to make sure they did the job right! If you are having hard wood installed in your home, we would highly recommend them!

I bought hardwood flooring from Maynor at Glamour recently. Never buying wood before, i was a bit nervous, but with Maynors expertise, and great service, he was able to walk me through all of my options. By the end, i felt comfortable and much more knowledgable about my investment. Id highly recommend Maynor and Glamour to anyone looking at flooring!

We hired Glamour Flooring for a major kitchen granite countertop and travertine flooring project and they knocked it out of the park! They did a great job and I would certainly use them again and refer them to my friends and family. Maynor Vega took care of us from start to finish. Just last week on Fri. May 20 2016 we had Glamour Flooring install new granite kitchen counter tops. We wanted to replace the existing tile counter top and tile back-splash. My wife wanted something easy to clean since we have 3 children and the kitchen gets heavy use. Maynor Vega from Glamour Flooring came to our house to get measurements and give an estimate. He is very experienced and gave us some suggestions and choices. We picked granite because it is a natural stone and easy to wipe clean.We were a little bit concerned about dust from breaking the old tile counter top. But Mr. Maynor made us comfortable saying that his workers will do a good job with less mess.Believe me when I say that his workers are professional - there was very little mess. The workers Jaime, Pollo and another lady worker (I am forgetting the name, sorry) were very professional. It felt like they have done this installation hundreds of times. They new exactly what to do. They had a large shop-vac that picked up all the large & small dust.Mr. Maynor said it is a one day job after we pick out a slab from the show room. Sure enough all was done in ONE day !! The amazing thing is that we needed two slabs for the kitchen since the island was large. We used what was left over from that to put granite in all the bathrooms (total 4 sinks - all under-mount). Now we have matching granite in the entire house. We are very happy with the work. Awful company, terrible customer service and only performs average work. Because my experience was terrible my review is long. In short, I would never use Glamour flooring again and would suggest you find another company as well.I only used Glamour Flooring for granite so I cannot speak to their flooring work but if their flooring work is anything like their granite work I would stay far away from this company. I recently purchased a house that needed all new flooring and I wanted new counter tops. Because of the proximity of Glamour Flooring to my new house I reached out to Maynor and asked for a quote for all of the work. He came out and measured and provided a quote for the granite and flooring. I found a more knowledgeable (and as it as turns out a must more trustworthy) flooring company do install the flooring but still wanted Glamour to install granite and that’s where everything went wrong. Maynor knew of the flooring work that was being done at my house and I asked him, “knowing the work that we are getting done at the house when would be the best time so schedule the granite install?” His response was something along the lines of “my guys have been doing this for years, they can install at any point in the project”. I trusted Maynor and scheduled the wood flooring install then Glamour came out a few days after to install the granite. Excited to see the new granite I stopped by the house and there were scratches everywhere in the kitchen. Maynor’s granite crew did not protect or cover any of the brand new wood flooring. The scratches were caused by granite and backlash pieces along with grout dust all over the floor and the wall oven sitting on the floor with nothing under it to protect the brand new floors. So I called Maynor and he came by the house and he told me “there’s no evidence that my guys did that” and “I was only hired to install granite, not manage your project”. His guys were the only ones in the kitchen and the only other person in the house had canvas tarps covering his workspace so I am 100% positive Maynor’s crew scratched the brand new floors. Not only did they scratch the floors his crew drank all the bottled water and ate food out of the fridge. That isn’t a big deal but it just goes to show the level of respect Maynor and his granite crew had for my house and possessions. Maynor did send out a flooring crew to “repair” the floor, his guys were out there for about 15 minutes and only rubbed some stain on the scratches so only time will tell if his repair hold up. Never the less, our brand new floors are now refurbished and I can still see scratches.Don’t use Glamour flooring or trust anything Maynor tells you, there are way too many knowledgeable and trustworthy flooring companies in the Houston so you don’t need to waste your time with these amateurs.
