Master Christopher Santarose not only teaches, he inspires. Ive practiced martial arts for more than a decade, and when I began training with him earlier this year, I knew that my skill level would improve dramatically under his tutelage. He brings joy to every class, and we all leave feeling grateful for his instruction.

The quality of instruction at United Martial Arts is unsurpassed. I’ve practiced Taekwondo for the better part of 15 years, and the last 2 have been with the Santarose brothers, who consistently do an EXCELLENT job. I take part in their adult classes, where they balance fantastic, detailed instruction with patience and good humor. I look forward to each class, and I leave feeling inspired, strong, and at ease. It’s an excellent workout, yes, but it’s so much more. There’s the discipline, self-confidence, self-defense skills, and respect that come with the practice of Taekwondo, and there’s also the camaraderie of my classmates and the excellent instruction from the Santarose brothers. I cannot say enough positive things about United Martial Arts. I highly recommend this business.

You should definitely attend to this Taekwondo. The master would not just teach you attacking and defense, he also teachers about discipline and self-control. He doesnt just teach in a group; he pays attention individually to each student. He is different from other Taekwondo schools; he is more strict which is way better. I definitely recommend you to join his school. He deserves much more attention than he has now.

Master Santarose really gives his all to his students. My young son attends regularly and I have been impressed with the Masters balance between patience, kindness, & firm discipline. Its fun to watch! Id definitely recommend this studio.

Great place. Amazing atmosphere

I have been participating in the Brazilian Jiu Jitsu classes at United Martial Arts Katy now for over a month. The instructors Master Christopher Santarose, Professors CJ Hancock & Coach Patrick Cox are friendly, highly knowledgeable, and fully committed to helping their students reach their full potential via very safe and technical instruction in a clean and friendly training environment. I would highly recommend United Martial Arts Katy to anyone wanting to begin their Brazilian Jiu Jitsu training or (like in my case) just picking up where they left off. I thoroughly enjoy training here.

If you want proper instruction from a very experienced and advanced Master of Taekwondo, United Taekwondo is your spot. My five year old son was diagnosed with Autism and ADHD this summer. We tried putting him in several team sports and nothing worked out. We decided to try Taekwondo. After the second lesson, Master Santarose agreed to meet with my son one-on-one because he knew that my son needed one-on-one attention. My son has learned better balance, discipline, attentiveness and a stronger sense of self worth. Weve only been doing the lessons for four months, but I can definitely see a change in my son and how much Master Santarose cares for his students and doing right by them. He instructs very well and is very patient. I would absolutely recommend this instructor to anyone of any age with any background and any behavioral issues. If Master Santarose moved his studio an hour away from our house, we would still drive out just for the lessons. That says a lot about Master Santarose and his commitment to his craft and shaping the young and younger minds to learn such important lessons about Taekwondo and life in general.

Learned more here and at the grandmasters school in two weeks than I learned in nine years at another place.
