I dont usually leave reviews but I wanted to do it becauseTexas Construction Plus deserved it! The did our hardwood floors a couple of years ago and last year we decided to trust them the construction of our pool and the results are wonderful. From the beginning to the final result, Leo and his crew were very clear about the expectations, worked with our budget and designed a wonderful paradise that our friends and family enjoy. When my wife and I started contemplating building a back patio in early spring, Texas Construction Plus was doing a pool/patio in our neighborhood. After checking them out in Angie’s list and Google, we decided to include them as one of our three quotes. During the bidding process, Leo Garcia, the owner, was very helpful in helping us finish the design. During the bidding phase, Leo was very helpful in translating what we had in our minds into actual designs that could be built. I cannot overstate how helpful Leo was in this area. One of the biggest reasons why we chose Leo was that we could see that Leo did good quality work, but also, Leo was the only one that could do everything that we were asking for, the patio, outdoor kitchen, travertine floors, and the in-ground custom build swim spa.Of the three bids, Leo’s was the most competitive. Further, Leo’s company was a one-stop shop. He was the only one that quoted us a single quote for the patio extension, the flooring, the kitchen and the swim spa. Further, he has done quite a bit of work in the Katy area, so we were able to see some of his recent work which gave us a lot of confidence on what to expect, the quality of work, etc.We had a great experience with Texas Construction Plus. Leo and his crew have great attention to detail and we are very pleased with the quality of work. Andres was the foreman on the project and did all of the finishing details. He did an excellent job and had great customer service. For the Patio Cover, rather than just adding on, Leo pulled back the existing patio cover and built an extended patio cover that integrated into the roof of our home. The finished patio cover looks like it is part of the original home. We get a lot of compliments for this and I’m sure adds to the value of our home. In addition, we had Leo and his crew built an outdoor kitchen that looks amazing. Leo helped us design it and was very patient with us as we moved its location several times as well as the size of it and the location of the sink, gas grill, refrigerator, etc.Our backyard sets on the west side and we never used it due to the small patio and the sun always beating down on us. However, our new patio is now one of our favorite places in our home. Great for watching the early morning news over coffee on the weekends, great for hanging out early evenings after work, and fantastic for hosting family get-togethers. We are recommending Leo and his Texas Construction Plus company to all our friends and family. Leo and his team doubled the size of our patio cover, expanded our decking area, built a pool in our backyard, and added a door in the back of our garage in the Katy, TX area. They did great work and we are very happy with the finished product! Leo was very patient even though we had some delays on our project related to an automated cover system (Coverstar -also really happy with this!) installation which they hadnt done before. They were very thorough and each item on the original checklist was completed and cost was as originally quoted (aside from a few upgrades my wife and I made mid project). Thanks TCP!

Leo and his team did a patio project for us. The project included the demolition of the old concrete patio, adding new flagstone patio, and the installation of a new patio cover. Leo was very responsive and helpful during the permit application process and the construction process. The project was completed in a very timely manner. I was happy with the quality of the work. I waited for 6 months after the work was completed to ensure there would be no problems before writing this review. All I have to say is the 12X14 patio Leo and his crew built in my backyard and the detailed painting of my house is Awesome. It has not weathered or diminished its appearance in any way. The quality and workmanship has persevered the winter and now I am sure it will last for many years to come. The appearance is as the day it was completed. Done a lot of research before choosing a contractor to perform work at our house. Ended up going with Leo and Texas Construction Plus. My wife and I couldnt be happier with the work performed. Our outdoor area turned out better than we envisioned, and the indoor flooring work as well. We have found us a contractor for life!! Leo is a great and awesome person to work with. He did 16x20 patio for us with breezeway and also outdoor kitchen with the whole electricity, gas and plumbing. I cant say enough great things about the quality of his work and his professionalism throughout the project. One thing to advise is if you decide to make modifications from the original contract, keep it in writing and discuss the cost beforehand so youll know what youre getting into. Not his fault by any means because we made a lot of minor revisions. Communication is key in building these kinds of big projects.

We had a backyard oasis put in by Texas Construction Plus. From the very onset of contacting Mr. Leo Garcia, he was very responsive and patient in dealing with us. We had lots of questions and wanted to ensure we were picking the right company to perform the work on such a large project. His bid was very competitive and well laid out to understand.The project consisted of a saltwater pool with an adjacent spa and accompanying cabana. The cabana has a bathroom and storage room along with an outdoor kitchen. The quality of the work is impressive and any issues that arose were addressed immediately and professionally by Mr Garcia. The key to his success and our happiness with his work is that Mr Garcia makes it a point to be present and visible and overseeing every task that is completed. TC+ replaced over 400 feet of cedar fencing surrounding my house (with pool). Leo was very responsive and provided great customer service. The job was done timely and site was cleaned up daily during construction. I would certainly recommend them.

This review is for our pergola and outdoor kitchen recently completed as well as our pool Texas Construction Plus built for us 2 years ago. We wish we had learned our lessons with construction on the smaller pergola project because the pergola went much more smoothly. Overall, the quality of work is excellent and the pricing is very reasonable. The only thing keeping us from giving 5 stars comes from the pool building experience but, keep in mind, this was a big job. Not only did Leo and his team build our pool but they also enclosed our small patio to turn it into a larger laundry room and outdoor bathroom and they replaced 3 windows on the back of the house with a large sliding door for new access to the pool area. My husband did all the electric because hes a licensed electrician but all other work was done by Leo and his crew. There were a lot of decisions to be made and not every decision was put in writing so the colour for our coping and the deck were not what we intended (and expensive to correct which we chose not to do). Leo is one of the nicest people you will ever meet so it was easy to forget there is a contract between you and him and he doesnt want to incur expenses any more than you want to pay for things. So getting everything in writing and asking for things to be corrected is essential. In the end, the projects transformed our boring, useless backyard into a beautiful backyard where we cant wait to entertain people and enjoy the Texas outdoor lifestyle.

When we purchased our home in 2016, the backyard was empty and the existing patio cover was relatively small.Texas Construction Plus had constructed a large patio extension for some of our friends and I was very impressed with the results. So when were ready to build an outdoor living space, we asked Leo for his thoughts on design and for a cost estimate…and I’m glad we did.Rather than just adding on, Leo pulled back the existing patio cover and built an extended cover from the outer wall of our home. The finished patio cover looks like it was part of the original home. In addition, we had Leo and his crew construct an outdoor fireplace that turned out beautifully. The fireplace includes a TV and two grottos for storing firewood, and it has become the center piece of the backyard. This area has become our outdoor living room and it’s great for entertaining. As a side benefit, our backyard has become the go-to location for our 3 teenage children and their friends.When we discussing the patio cover and fireplace with Leo, he asked if were planning to build a pool. And when I told him yes, I learned Texas Construction Plus also builds pools. We had a pool built at our previous home and learned a few things the hard way. Like the analysis paralysis that can occur when you obtain too many builds and no two are alike. With this pool and backyard living space, we took four bids from local and reputable companies, including Texas Construction Plus. Our decision was not solely based on the lowest cost estimate, but in this case Texas Construction Plus was the most competitive.Consistent with the outdoor living space, we were very pleased with the quality of the pool, the decking, and the installation of the equipment. We worked with Leo to install the latest technology allowing us to use of our smart phones to operate the pool, spa, and lighting. In addition, Leo added auxiliary power in the back flower beds behind the pool so we could later install landscape lighting.Of course, the pool design we desired was not the most simple. We wanted a raised spa with two infinity edges that spilled evenly into the pool. I came to Texas Construction through my neighbor. She had an excellent experience with them in the construction of their patio. Unfortunately for personal reasons my husband and I decided to postpone the project we had but definitely if we decide we will do it through Texas Construction, so this review that I am leaving is in relation to the service I got from them in the process of the quote.I spoke to 5 pool and outdoor kitchen companies (with some I am still waiting for a quote after weeks and an agent keeps saying that he is going to send me a quote and he doesnt) so I cant imagine how tedious it would be to work with any of them. Leo was always very punctual, from his visit to the delivery dates of the estimated budget. We had excellent communication and he was always very friendly and answered any questions we had. Their budget was very detailed so definitely if we decide to continue with the process we will do it with them.
